I think Amy L. looked 10,000 times better with short hair than with long hair. It made her stand out. Still don't think she should have been point though.

I agree!  The girls with the long hair curled at the end all look the same.  There nothing special or eye-catching about any of them.

Almost 2 weeks in and no news on ANY TCC cuts yet?! I’m shocked! You would think they would at least show us some of the online audition videos for the tcc on social media like they did in 2020.

I worry for the girls with naturally straight hair, curling it every single day. Their hair health will be awful as they get older. TPTB see straight hair and automatically think flat.

I can’t lie I’m a big fan of Amy because she’s so sweet and was such a clean dancer and really experienced, and Maddie I reckon was really talented and spunky. But I think a Bridget and Heather split point would’ve been awesome too, or one of them with Maddie. Or Gina of course, but I know a lot of people have pointed out her additions to the dances stick out to much.

If we aren’t going to get any scope this season, I really hope the show airs early. The finals cuts so far into the season, it’s just not fair to the rookies who cannot celebrate their achievements on social.

I don’t think so? I think 2nd leaders are more flexible than that at least based on compatibility of personality and teaching styles/capability. I see Caroline becoming a 1GL over Rachel just based on maturity and teaching background, for instance. But I could be totally wrong.

Putting it down? Can I be rude and say the following. In my dreams she was KICKING her leg at all the girls and having a tamper tantrum for them not being "DCC perfect" immediately. 

 

And I cannot believe I do not follow Kelsey L and her reaudition!!! Damn lol 10 bets that Kelly does not like her now because of all those plastic surgery she gotten. Tho there is a part of me that wonders, if she hadnt retired would she have made it back for her 3rd season. Tho did Kelsey say whether it was a last min thing to reaudition meaning she prob had the same amount of time as Dayton her first year auditioning (around a month) to audition or she had a little more time than that!!!! Wonder how "out of shape" dance wise she is, its not like she is "fat" in DCC terms atm. I mean come on Kelli you really turned down 50 yards Kelsey's reaudition?

I knew this was going to happen. Take a lot of girls into training camp only to cut a bunch of them (if I had to guess it probably happened at same time, and probably on night 1) for views. The red wedding of DCC lol.

Oh right...the "finals" lol. Kinda feels like when you get the call to be a part of Survivor and arrive to the island only to be told that only a certain amount of people are actually competing on Survivor and you have to do some kind of test to get a place on the show. Kinda sucks when reality shows do that lol. It feels that's what DCC is doing but who knows?

I can't find anything on social media on who the cuts could be but there is something odd with Megan McElaney as she has been announced coach of a varsity cheer team in California but nothing has been mentioned about her leaving to try for DCC

We are forever grateful! 🥰

Here’s a little bit about 1 of our new coaches:

Megan McElaney began her dancing career at the age of 3 years old and progressed to become a competitive dancer at 8 years old. She has trained and competed in all styles such as ballet, tap, jazz, musical theatre, contemporary, lyrical and hip hop. She was a member of El Camino's Dance III program and ECDC all 4 years and she was a leader for 2 years. In her senior year she joined the POMcats team where they placed 3rd in the nation at USA Nationals, making history for El Camino! Upon graduating high school, she earned a spot, and now serves as captain on the nationally ranked San Diego State University Dance Team, which claimed the National Championship title at UDA Nationals in 2020. On top of her dancing career, she also spent her summers traveling across the nation as a Universal Dance Association Instructor, coaching high school dancers, judging auditions, and assisting with competitions. She cannot wait to work with the team she was once a part of & take them to new heights!

It started at 7 - I remember Kelsey B leaving work at 5 and rushing to be there on time.  They used to stay until the wee hours of the morning when it was a filming night for cuts, but in season 14, the girls were getting cut during practice and not after.  So, they weren't staying as long.  But who knows now:)
