For those of you who don't watch B&B, this crossover is a true crossover in that they expect you to watch both shows.  I won't say much in case you didn't see it, but I will say that it is impossible to take Dummer seriously as some high-powered business person doing deals, especially with $Bill Spencer.  I couldn't even take her seriously if she were selling Girl Scout cookies.

The utterly absurd the TIIC mantra continues. Sharon has a lumpectomy and treatments but shows no signs. Chance is not but yet there is no scare from the bullet or the operation to remove that bullet. Chelsea has a brain aneurism repaired but still has a full head of hair. Now Abby has too much scar tissue to get pregnant.  Of course there is no indication how the doctor knows this and what procedure was used.  The doctor makes a definitive diagnosis and doesn’t even refer Abby to a reproductive endocrinologist who is a specialist in clearing scar tissue or performing IVF since Abby can still produce eggs. Not that Abby is looking for one.  As I shown above, TIIC make blatant disregards for real word medical issues but drama is paramount. 

At least, Ashley is researching alternatives. Maybe she will come up with a great reproductive endocrinologist and a very suitable surrogate to carry Abby’s and Chance’s baby.  (Mariah)?  Plus it’s great to hear Traci definitely tell Abby has options.  Which she does, but this should have been told to her by her doctor.  I don’t remember if Abby had a D&C after her miscarriage but that could of helped from forming scar tissue. 

Why do TIIC think that we are that stupid that we don’t remember from one day to the next?  Nostrils was going to pickup the kids at CL not home and Olive Oyl let him know that they were now going all together skating. You know as Lily said, family skate night. Either the family dinner was a different day (not) or Nostrils was lying again.  Parent my ass, Nostrils, it’s manipulation on Olive’s part. Olive doesn’t want Nostrils, she’s just protecting Lily 🙄. 

What a fantastic CFO that Olive won’t go to Hawaii to finalize and sign a deal with a Japanese company. Very disrespectful!  Most deals, with the Japanese, are made on the golf course with a round of golf and some major sake drinking and dinner afterwards.  Always lots of fun which would be against Olive nature.

And from the way ButtBiscuit manspreads both physically and emotionally, he seems to think he's got the biggest pair in recorded history.  Truth be told though, he's the walking example of a real schmeckel - and I mean that in the kindest way possible.

As for Lily, I think she had too many baloney sandwiches in prison if ButtBiscuit is her choice of post-prison lunch.  ButtBiscuit can't just ask her to go ice skating, he has to tell her he's going to rent out the whole rink so can show her his Sonja Henie impersonation.  Yep, he's really changed - into a bigger putz than before.

Good grief, it's 2021 not 1921. There's no reason for someone with Abby's resources to be catastrophizing about her diagnosed inability to have a baby. My heart broke for Abby as I have gone through infertility caused by silent endometriosis with no babies to show for it. I had beautiful embryos, brought about through IVF, as that’s the only chance MH and I had in terms of having a biological child. But IVF (which luckily my insurance covered) is not a guarantee in the best of circumstances. It doesn’t solve for my situation where my uterus, like Abby’s, is a scarred mess. Surgery to remove the scarring didn’t work to improve implantation and we don’t have the funds for a gestational carrier, although clearly money isn’t an issue for Abby. Even though we have moved on to discussing adoption, letting go of the dream of having our biological child has been devastating as has the reality that I’ll never carry a baby inside of me and all that entails.

Abby's ovaries are fine and if Chance's swimmers are too, Victor can hire surrogates to carry as many biospawn as Abby wants.  After they are born they will be upstairs with the nanny, at sleepovers, and then off to boarding school & college, rarely seen.

In order to intimidate Flo, Wyatt’s current girlfriend, for information on Sally, Summer just had to drop the Newman name expecting Flo to curtsy and kiss her ass because her shit doesn’t stink.  Although not as animated as her mother, they are very much alike.  Both vindictive bitches. Like her father, there is nearly enough brains to let them know that they have to breathe

My disdain for Summer comes from going to high school with at least 5 Summer types.  By 16 they all had 6 figures jobs due to nepotism not brains. 

Is Sharon that stupid?  Faith has been found twice with Jordan drinking. Jordan is at least 2 years older than Faith but to Sharon 2+2 = 6.  In addition, Sharon forgets that Cassie was in the presence of an older man, Daniel who was drinking, when she died. 

Why do TIIC keep making innuendos like Lily can get pregnant. Abby stands a 100% better chance of getting pregnant than Lily. 

Is Faith a Summer in training?  Same fucked up father and basically a different but still fucked up mother.  

2 different opinions but still the same diagnosis to much scare tissue.  But was either specialist a Reproductive Endocrinologist?  I know of a world renowned Reproductive Endocrinologist, in Connecticut, who works miracles using laparoscopic surgery to clear scar tissue other surgeons won’t even try or are too scared to operate. Too bad he’s retired. Now,  more than ever I feel Mariah is in the Chancellors’ future.

I'm not sure why they aren't airing this on Y&R.  Like I said, all traces of Sally were pretty much erased from B&B months ago.  If you watch B&B, you already know Sally's story.  It's the Y&R viewer who doesn't watch B&B who needs the story explained to them. 

So far, you haven't missed much, just Summer not very subtly digging for dirt and the B&B characters coyly dancing around it.  There was a funny bit yesterday where Bill Spencer (who played Brad on Y&R) asked Summer to give his regards to her parents.  It was only funny because Brad couldn't stand Nick or Phyllis.  In fact, Brad is the reason Phyllis went to prison!  Yeah, say hi to your parents, Summer!

The good news is that the show’s run time is like 18 minutes (I swear it’s like equal parts commercial and show).  So, if you decide to pick it up just for this storyline you aren’t wasting too much of your time.

It's in line with, if not as bad as, Sharon's oh-lets-call-it-obsession with Adam and his nether regions after she learned that he made her think her baby was dead while giving said baby to Ashley.  None of the blather excuses ever made any sense to me and Sharon was permanently ruined for me as a character.

She and Bobo the talking orangutan aka Nick are such great parents.

If Pouty McPouterson really wants to have a baby or ten just hire a carefully vetted stranger.  Don't use a friend who will constantly remind you/become a pest/try to keep the kid/ - Talk to LIly who will remind her how Mac tried to keep the Pixie twins (Lily's one and only shot at that)

Abby has odles of money and odles of eggs. If she uses Mariah the baby will come out with red hair and Teriah will insist it was immaculate conception. Look at Tribble wanting Jonny-time. A nice wide hipped stranger who's done this before, is best if you can afford it. You could hire Kim K's. Or you could adopt like MO did in RL. Chelsea's just sitting there - Chance could shake hands with her and BOOM-baby.

I haven't been near Pittsburgh since ~1965 and it has apparently changed a lot since then.  I looked up skyline images & it appears they erased "K&L Gates" and replaced it with "Jabot" on the black skyscraper.  I wonder which building Newman Tower is impersonating.

I live near Pittsburgh and while some of the buildings are from here, not all are.  One looks like the UPMC Tower, another could be the US Steel Tower, the short building could be the Renaissance Hotel.  The two buildings in the center, with the one being Jabot are the PPG Towers in Market Square, but they removed the “spikes” that adorn the four corners of each building.  On the far left is One Oxford Center.

I understand wanting to be given time alone (plenty of room at the mansion to sort things out), take a walk-about, but to ignore Chance's disappointment and refuse his support (it's her scarred uterus, but he needed some support from Abby for his dashed baby dream, too), and leave him alone for the night was unnecessarily selfish. 

The episode ended on an Looking forward to the future together/We'll find a solution to our Baby Rabies dilemma seemed too pat and simpleminded after weeks of Abby and Chance boinking, marriage and wringing their hands over starting a family. TIIC didn't end the episode with the seriousness warranted of their situation. I expect that TIIC will find a solution with an available uterus.

Being mostly at home during this pandemic, I was hoping for an interesting storyline or two.  Watching stone-faced Chelsea sit there, narrating the crazy in her brain, is not fun to watch; I wonder if she is going to recover and hide it; thereby cementing Adam to her.  Although I don't think she would put dear Connor through that.  And then there is Abby and Chance...do not want to see a drawn-out surrogate story with her being hysterical most of the time.  Summer and Kyle...enough said.  And Jack looking more and more like a desperate, sad "older" man.  When he could have any beautiful or interesting woman his age.  But they are going to shove Sally down our throats.  I could get onboard with her doing dirty deeds to separate Kyle and Summer.  

I do know that Covid and it's restrictions are limiting what the writers and actors can do.  But a really good murder mystery would be so wonderfully distracting right now.  Since they were going to fire the Theo actor...they could have killed him off and have us all guessing who-did-it But sadly, not to be.

The difference between Summer and Sally  is that Sally is much smarter and is not entitled. Summer is obsessed but Sally takes her obsessions to exstreams.  I find Summer to be a little more insecure but Sally is insecure from trying to prove herself but Summer’s insecurity comes her DNA.

All of this, and let me add that there was some revisionist history in Flo's story.  Sally did not hit Flo over the head and knock her out.  Penny did that out of fear and desperation.  A small detail, but Flo made it sound like Sally was violent and that was not the case.  Both Flo and Summer have longer rap sheets that Sally, and it was more than I could stand to see these two smug sweathogs prop each other up over iced teas at Il Giardino.  

I'll sit at the Jally table with you, and I'll even share my tater tots.  IF, that is, Sally is sincere and not playing Jack for some other motive.  Jack's been through enough heartache, so no more of that, please.  But if it's a genuine mutual attraction, I'm on board.  I don't have any doubt that both actors could sell it.  And yes, putting Dummer in her place is an added bonus.

And Kyle better watch out.  He's developing jowls that are making him a dead ringer for Alvin and any of the Chipmunks.
