Tomato, tomahto, I guess. I wouldn't "nope out" on a close friend's important events though (even if they are not my cup of tea). Luckily, my close friends don't typically do the type of shit I hate (or have multiple pre-wedding parties, thank the gods).

She is the "officiant" and allegedly a businesswomen. She understands the ramifications of this documentation not getting to the County Clerks office within 10 days of the ceremony. Now if she texted them or called them to say hey where is the marriage license and if you don't get it to me by X - you are not legally married, then yeah - not on her. But her pretend shock is BS.

Also, Beau didn't accurately represent what Kristen was shocked at to Stassi.  What she reacted to was him saying he doesn't care about anyone other than Stassi.  He also said Stassi was his #1 priority, but the more alarming statement was that he didn't care about anyone else.  I imagine that if one of the women said that (like Raquel), they'd be pounced on as engaging in unhealthy behavior.

I think it is a total excuse for something else.

Way when Stassi was on/off with Jax, I believe in the trio - Stassi was closer to Kristen. I don't think Katie ever liked that. After, Stassi found out about Jax/Kristen hooking up their dynamic changed. Katie became the bestie and Kristen was out. I don't think Stassi ever truly got over Jax/Kristen hooking up - nothing wrong about that and while I do believe she was getting there since being with Beau - Katie was going to hone in and whisper because she'd never want to be demoted back to #2 again.

Kristen has always been like this with all of the boyfriends she's had on the show. Once the initial romance wears off and the guy shows his true colors - Kristen will stay in a toxic relationship until the guy dumps her. Look how long she stayed with Tom - 7 years of which the last 4 years were of them constantly cheating on each other - I don't think they respected or loved each other at all. Look how long after she and Tom were done that she continued to obsess about him. DJ Muppet Baby was a shorter relationship - but as toxic as it was and it became that quite early yet she stayed with him a long time.

What Kristen is doing with Carter is no different than any other relationship she had. I think what's driving this is Katie not wanting Stassi to be close to Kristen because she feels threatened.

As far as the themed parties, I see both sides.  My main objection is that this is all being done under the auspices of uniting two people who are not royalty, where land and noble titles are not changing hands, in a marriage that probably will not last.  I know this cast likes to have fun and celebrate things, and I would appreciate seeing celebrating for celebration’s sake more than 75,000 parties to further consecrate Jax and Brittney’s unholy union.  

Not really trying to be Ariana, reading into something too hard and taking it too seriously, but...........why throw a Gatsby-themed party if no one attending can tell you who Daisy Buchanan is?  Why not just a Roaring Twenties party?  (As a side note, I decided a long time ago that if I ever got invited to a 1920s party, I would come dressed as a woman from 1920, which doesn’t look very different from a woman from a woman from 1900.  Women didn’t start bobbing their hair or wearing flapper dresses until later on.  That’s just the history dork in me.  I thought Dr House was the man when he arrived at an “eighties party” dressed as someone from the 1880s).

Many, MANY years ago, I liked LVP (despite dressing her dogs in hideous attire long after Giggy was over his alopecia). 

Now, she appears to me as a pompous, self indulgent fake. Where is the warfare against the China dog slaughtering? It's still alive and flourishing. But LVP isn't pursuing it anymore. She isn't keeping up the fight. So I'm not feeling the LVP love anymore.

And I'm also over Ken Doll walking around with some Pomeranian shelter dog under his arm acting like a pussy whipped housewife. But that is what Ken is. He knows his role in the world of LVP. What a stupid schmuck.

The way I see it, Katie and Stassi think they are operating on a higher plane because they are married/ getting engaged. Kristen is still making self destructive choices so they can look down on her. She's the kind of person who 'helps people' to feel good about and benefit herself.  Helping someone or a cause requires you to give a big part of yourself and she would never ever do that.  She would never put in the actual time and effort to truly help anyone.  She does something until it stops being fun or it turns into actual work.

There’s something about a lot of the one piece bathing-suites the girls are wearing this season that is really unflattering. I really didn’t like the white ones Sheena and Kristin were wearing. Some sort of lack of definition around the waste with the proportion of the neckline is off. It makes them all look very thick and emphasizes the tummy. I’ve noticed it shopping myself. I can’t quite put my finger on the exact issue but one pieces are doing some funky stuff this season.

Thats all I got. I don’t care about anything happening this season.

So, kind of Rand 2.0—successful, but downplaying his accomplishments so that his woman can shine?  I’d be willing to look into that if he hadn’t ridden his girlfriend’s coattails onto a full-time cast member spot on a second-rate reality show, after which he quit his alleged job to at 40, which is the time in most people’s careers that their earning potential skyrockets, in favor of furthering Stassi’s crusade to publish pamphlets about what a basic bitch she is, lol.

LVP's father is very much alive. In fact it was dad AND mom who went and did a welfare check on their son when Mark sent that text pic of the pills. Sadly, they were the ones who discovered that he committed suicide.

His dad has been on the show and he has been mentioned a bunch since his death. It’s not even the first time we have seen his dad’s ashes that were in his living next to a bottle of fireball. The dude was their wedding planner.

Sorry, my bad.  You are correct he did appear on the show.  But it was never like he was SO important to Jax / Jason.  I’m going on season 3 of rewatch and he has yet to mention his parents or family.

I have no researched opinion on Beau one way or another, but this picture to me just looks like somebody told him how to stand, how to smile, took a ton of shots, and went with this one. It’s like a movie still to me.

Last week’s episode was the rehearsal, so I thought this was the wedding, but nope, another party. Surely this next scene will be the wedding...nope, another party! After THIS commercial break! Another mother-f-ing party! This went on the whole episode! They had approx 35 pre-wedding parties, then, what, another 5-7 days of partying AT the wedding venue before the wedding ceremony! This is CRAZY!!!! I understand entertaining your guests for a destination wedding, but it’s like, dinner Friday night, wedding Saturday, going-away brunch on Sunday. How many days was this wedding celebration?!? It’s still not over, so these people might STILL be whooping it up in Kentucky for all we know!

Sandoval has “top-of-the-line” tampons in case of emergency. I’m turning 46 next month, so it really caused a bit of an epiphany that what if I’ve been using medium-grade tampons all these years? I deserve the best entering into perimenopause! I’ve assumed Tampax are the best, but what if they’re not?! What’s the top-of-the-line tampon?!

Lara talked about it on Sexy Unique Podcast. He filed in 2012. Beau is an aka- my assumption is it’s a stage name he took on as an actor. His BK filing used both names- Robert Edward aka “Beau” Clark is how it referred to him, as I recall.

LOL, I'll be 46 later this year, and really should have top-of-the-line tampons on me at all times.  It's hard to believe that over 30 years of this nonsense and I still get caught unawares waaaaaay more often than I admit.  But Tampax are mid-grade.  There are all kinds of all organic, non bleached, fancy pants tampons.  I'm just happy to have A tampon.

My DVR recorded a bunch of old episodes from the season Katie and Tom got married, I think last week? I rewatched their wedding episode again today for the first time since it aired. 

Anyway, during the reception, Lisa asked Katie and Tom for the marriage license, saying that she had to sign it. Tom produced it right away and Lisa sat there and signed it. She then gave it back to Tom for him to mail.* So, if it got lost, it was after the wedding, not before. 

*I thought that part was weird, because I’ve been married (twice 😬), and neither time did my officiant give the license back to me to mail. It might just be my state (Illinois) or county (Cook), but I think it’s supposed to be the officiant who mails it back?

It’s not at all unusual when it’s a friend who doesn’t do It as a job for the couple to do it and that has been the case in at least four states including California.

Yeah it is definitely the job of the officiant to mail.  I don't even think it should be handed back to one of the married people.  I was married in CA and I told the priest I would mail it and he said no, he does it.  If you don't want to do the whole job, as officiant, then don't do it at all.
