It looked like the young guy in the prison library looks too young to have spent 12 years working his way up to the library. And why would he risk it to beat up Spencer?

Robert looked disappointed that Diane survived.  Or maybe I'm just projecting.

They ruined Liz's flashbacks by making them about Finn. Months of build-up and not I just don't care.

Yes Carly, you really are Mother of the Year. And why would you think that Diane knows about Florida law? Get a Jacksonville lawyer if you're going to go all Karen.

"Peyton suffered a terrible tragedy. Where's her empathy?"  How does lighting not strike Carly all the time?

CM has a terrific body but this "flirting" is making me nauseous.

Why is the art museum called "The Chuck"? Also, stay angry at Curtis, Trina.

It is far too soon for Trina to start sleeping with Rory. Stop pushing Joss.

Joss is dumb.  Hey Cam you're girlfriend is running around trying to find another guy.  time to break things off.  And now we have the Carver, who's name should be changed to The Knife Petter, since that's all he really does, hanging out in the open playing with his knives when Joss shows up.

Carly/Drew:;  Holy crap I don't care. 

Carly:  "Someone is attacking all the poeple that I know at home.  I should check on my kids"  

Drew:  Nawh, it's all good.  I mean, Donna and Avery made that cute video for you, so there is no reason why you should leave.

Carly:; Alright.  Let's put all our resources into fighting for something that has nothing to do with us, and I don't care if they find out bad things about me, because I can yell louder than they can.  

Cyrus/Spencer:  My first thought, was man, Spencer's family tree really sucks.  Helena, Mikkos, Victor, Sonny, Cyrus.  Eeesh.  Also Spencer, you're clearly not as protected inside by Victor and Sonny as you thought since Book Guy was able to get to you.  Maybe accept Cyrus' protection as well.

Trina:  Why on earth is makeup putting her in all those god awful eye shadow colours.  Orange last week, and now some weird green thing.  Also was that milk that she was pouring into her cola/ice tea?  Because that's just gross.

Dante:  Still hawt!!

Kristina:  Love everything with her.  The annoyance that her new bodyguard is just a giant lump with no communication skills.  No offence!!  Then figuring out that Dante suspects Dex, ergo Sonny suspects Dex.  Lexi needs a story that's worthy of her talents.

I liked the Elizabeth/Gregory scenes, even if nothing got said. And the Maxie/Sasha scenes were really good. Maxie is absolutely the right person for Sasha to go to.

 I didn't like her hair, but other than that she was great! I liked both her and Trina for standing up for themselves to  Curtis and Sonny. Maybe the intentions are for protection but these are adult women and things affecting their lives should at least be discussed with them.

So cheesy and just flat-out bad with the constant pimping of Carly being the bestest of the best.  I busted out laughing at the reasoning for Carly to have to stay in Jacksonville.  Because, right, a "great mother" would definitely be like "right, someone is killing people connected to Sonny, but my kids will be safer amidst that and if I go to be with them it will be MORE dangerous.  It made the "I lost my phone so I can't contact anyone" seem like perfectly logical reasoning.

Remember hot bearded Drew from this first week on the show? Too bad they wasted all that potential. 

I kind of love the idea of Spencer having a dueling angel/devil on his shoulder in the form of creepy great-uncles. I think he was right that Cyrus set up that scene with Book (who was a surprisingly good actor) but I would much rather see this reluctant bonding than Spencer being beaten in prison.

I'm not really sure I buy that Spencer, the nephew of a notorious and very scary mob boss and a member of a family of notorious, well connected, and resourceful psychopaths, would be a target of other prisoners. Seems like the risk/reward calculation wouldn't make it worth going after him when there are surely more vulnerable people to go after instead.

I don’t know if this is an UO or not but I think they should have killed off Diane. What’s the point of a serial killer SL where 2 of the first 3 victims survive and the one that did die was probably not the intended target. It’s not like she’s a central character but she’s been around enough that viewers know her so she would have been perfect. Losing her would have just meant the Corinthii need to find a new lawyer the next time one of the them break the law. She’s truly only close to Alexis who has other friends.

I missed a few days' of comments, but I'll bet you guys did your due diligence roasting Michael for going through why every victim is important to him for one reason or another -- but concluding that obviously the ONLY person they have in common in Sonny.

And I'm sure this has also been mentioned, but maybe the metallic sound the victims of the HOOK ATTACK heard was, perhaps, a hook? Most of them have jangling attachment pieces of one kind or another.

There always seems to be at least one IDGAF lifer who thinks going after the big shot is worth the consequences. That wasn't Book, obviously, so he was the wrong choice. It might be a giant cliché, but it's not as if GH is writing anything with any sort of realism.

So, I had the show on in the background b/c I'm at the office today (lol), and I just saw Michael and Joss strong arm their way into Sonny's freezer where he's keeping Dex. 

I HATE this show. I really do. I exited from the app after that crap. They should NOT have been allowed to find Dex. Dex should have been discovered dumped on a corner somewhere. Where are Sonny's guards anyway? Why are Joss and Michael just allowed to continually walk into his business? 

I guess I was supposed to cheer b/c stupid Dex was saved! Nothing even happened to him. I guess they will just let Dex walk away from Sonny now w/no consequences or better yet they dumb Sonny down to the point of ridiculousness and have him keep Dex on?!??!?!?!! 

Whatever they do - I will not be watching. This show is lame! 

@ffwbe- I couldn't agree more w/you about Diane! She should be dead, but of course, they don't kill Diane. They just kill poor Brando who could have LEFT TOWN! It enrages me. They say there will be another victim. I'm sure it will be Felix b/c it won't be anyone "important," making this story POINTLESS!

I hope that Valentin was just playing to Michael's vanity because there is no way that Michael, who we never see  working, is more valuable than Ned who we have seen working and bringing work home to do.

Nice that Michael and Joss think that they can throw their weight around Sonny's men while working against Sonny. And the stupidity -- if Sonny is willing to carve up Dex, shouldn't they be afraid that he might retaliate against them too?

I hope that Sonny washes his hands of Carly and her children for good.

Such as cheap shot that Dex is singing the Star Spangled Banner. I wish that he had been the one killed instead of Brando.

Shut up Drew. Carly isn't worth all this ass-kissing. If you feel sorry for her, send her to a therapist (who she won't see unless there is a lot of ass-kissing.

The Carver tried to stop them, even though Joss hypocritically name dropped Sonny as her step father.  Than she stormed out, found Michael and dragged him back.  He also name dropped Sonny but also named dropped Dante and the cops and told Carver that if arrested Sonny would disavow him and leave him twisting in the wind.  I'm pretty sure Carver doesn't get paid enough for that shit, so he let Joss find Dex then made a half hearted attempt to stop them from leaving before Sonny ended up showing up.

Yes, but imagine the hospital bedside scenes of Portia and Jordan wringing their hands and both declaring their love for him, if he would only come back to them.  And since it was to save Trina, than we can have her also wringing her hands at how she's been mean to him for the last 2 days and now he might die on her.  I mean, it practically writes itself.

I'm relieved that it's not Finn's undead wife going around hooking people. But there's literally no way to redeem Esme with two attempted murders and one murder under her help. It was bad enough with the revenge porn and framing someone for it. I can't even see a brain tumor in her future. I don't even know if there's a nature vs nurture situation with her. It seems like her nature was exacerbated by nurture. Where the hell did she get venom? It's not like you can buy it on Amazon (probably can. I don't shop there).

All I can say is hide, Trina. If she's attacked, they might blow up her paternity secret like that.

I tend to enjoy anything with MW. 

Diane remembers it was a woman.

And now for something frightening. You know how a bunch of people have been wanting AJ to have another son who will come in and challenge Michael? Well this Dex situation is certainly starting to look a whole lot like what Sonny did to AJ and I wouldn't be surprised if they decided to go there with Dex. He comes to town because he hates Sonny, wants to take him off the streets, works for/with Michael to do that. Starts to soften toward him until Sonny has him grabbed, put on a hook in a freezer and about to be carved up by some dude who seems to love torturing people. Takes up with Joss, making Carly's head blow up. Not that there's anything wrong with Carly's blowing a gasket over this.

Joss, of course, was the snotty bitch she always is and Michael was looking to the left and then to the right while he threatened to sic his detective brother or his mob daddy (who he currently hates and is trying to sabotage) on this fellow. But what is the story? It doesn’t seem like Michael plans to get evidence to turn over to the police or to his mob enemies. He’s also suddenly anti-mob and is acting like he’s an upstanding citizen so I doubt he wants to take over. He has Dex working undercover to gain info but they’ve been vague on what he plans to do with it, more than likely because they have no idea what Michael’s revenge plot is.

Yeah, I don't know where they're going with this and I doubt they do either.  I read AP has been put on contract, but unless this is another red herring, that Esme just happens to be walking around town in a black cloak at the same time that a black clad woman is going around hooking people.

If I was Sonny that would make me super suspicious of Dex for sticking around. Michael can't be paying him enough to stay with the mob. It makes zero sense for him to keep working for Sonny

Are we supposed to be stunned that she's alive? This show gives its viewers absolutely no credit. Why it clings to such outdated storytelling is beyond me. I know it's a soap—and certain tropes should be honored—but the lack of creativity is so depressing.

Michael strikes me as the kind of person who doesn't pay his minions very much because he thinks of himself as the mastermind and doesn't see those who work for him as worth much value. He's already got Dex working for redemption purposes.

While I want there to be a secret AJ son, Dex seems too meh for my tastes.

I wonder if the Jacksonville cemetery played out too much like a Karen story so the writers are doubling down on Poor Carly to redeem it.

It is so heavy-handed pointing towards Esme that I can see the show making the Hooker someone else, especially with Ava saying today that Ryan killed someone with a hook. Killing one person and trying to kill two more is irredeemable and unlike CL, they have the actress on contract for at least another year.
