And why isn't anyone suggesting joint custody? The Corinthii always insist on sole custody.

because they failed kindergarten and missed on the "Sharing is Caring." portion of the day.

I saw Ava screaming at Sonny about using pictures of a burnt out apartment, and then using cute pictures of Avery vs. Michael right now, and Imma gonna say. woman's got a big  ole point there. Avery easily could have been in that house that night asleep and could have ended up like Michael or worse.  It just reminds me when Ava was being stalked by Spencer/Esme - and the moment it got worse, Ava's first thought was to give up custody of Avery and give her to Carly for protection. and she was going to leave town.  to keep Avery safe.

Sonny's like "nah we're good."

Kristina and Luckt were a little vibes too but I’ll never not ship JJ’s Lucky with Elizabeth. They are just too sparkly and they make teen joyous.

Yes, I don’t know why the Corintii act like joint custody isn’t a thing. Except I guess for Donna maybe?

Weird to me that apparently Cody and Molly have never met.

Enjoy LA Sonny. Take your time. See the sights.

Carly invading Germany

Hee. Luckily, the Germans are made of stern stuff. I'd give anything to see a few scenes where the doctors immediately shut her down and tell her to go away and let them work.

I'm not sure I'll explain this properly, but here goes: This is why Ava has trouble getting custody of Avery back. She legit tries to keep Avery safe, and that isn't a problem. It's how she tries to keep Avery safe. Giving her to Carly is tantamount to giving up custody completely. I don't care that Donna and Avery are BFFs and Carly's house is a familiar place. Once Carly gets her hooks into a kid, she doesn't let go. Ava should know this by now. Letting Avery live with Sonny semipermanently is just as bad, if not worse, given he's always a target for someone.

A big part of the problem is baked in: Ava has few to no friends and no family that she can park Avery with, so her options are limited.

This goes to show how bad the writing has skewed towards the Corinthii and their annoying impenetrable family/cult.  Years ago, Carly forced Sonny to sign away his rights to Morgan to keep him safe after Michael got shot in the head.  Now?  A couple of words about how the person was after Sonny and then a shrug and a 'well, let's make sure Michael doesn't have scars' attitude.

Meanwhile Ava has to beg for a lunch date with her kid because SHE'S a danger.  As always, fuck off, show.

Cujo can just get BENT. It was HER idea to wake up the SLS to get him to tell all if he wanted to go to Germany or Baltimore, and then howls like a banshee when Willow wants to talk him. But this is typical Cujo behavior. Tone-Deaf and wants what she wants when she wants it and ignores any responsibility that she has in causing anything.

And this is coming from someone who doesn't give a shit about the SLS.

Sasha can also join Cujo. And then bear the brunt of the banshee's wrath when she finds out she's cooking the SLS's spawn and was going to keep it a sekrit.

I just want to bang my head and pull my hair out at the repeated and constant references to characters by their work positions or full names, as if they are strangers. Portia started it, Mac is now continuing it with ADA Lansing-Davis, as if Mac doesn't or hasn't known Molly her whole damn life. Or that Mini-Cujo refers to Anna as "Anna Devane" to Lucas.

So I guess Frank has decided he's ruined Anna so it's on to Laura now.

But oh my, Lucky and Elizabeth are just soooo cuuuuute together! And my inner tween/teen heart just went pitty-pat at how hawt Lucky looked with that shiner.

Did Carly cry on the plane the entire way to Germany? I once cried the whole time on a flight, but it was only two hours long, not six or seven. And that pretty much dried out my tear ducts.

I'm glad Carly stopped herself before she threw the water. It looked like a glass bottle. The hotel she's staying at doesn't deserve to take her anger. LOL that the German hotel room is nicer than any MetroCourt room.

Everything Maxie said to Lulu about why she'd be unhappy at Deception was accurate. And BL is entirely right to not want her to work for her because it would be uncomfortable. Lulu is an idiot to think none of that matters and she can put it aside. Also: WHAT ABOUT ROCCO? Her complete lack of attention to him is approaching Drew/Jason levels of parenting.

BL needs to have a serious talk with Tracy interfering in hiring decisions that don't affect Tracy.

Forget everything else, Curtis should be leery of a stock sale with Drew because the last one resulted in insider trading charges.

Who'd've thought Kai wouldn't play football again? I am shocked, shocked!

Anyone who thought we'd have a Carly vacation and a Sonny vacation. I believe Carly screeching in her hotel room is the show's way to tell you just how wrong you were. We can't have Carly vacations, we're not that lucky.

Jack Brennan, you are so uncool. You also look like a thirsty puppy, begging for treats from your owner because you've been such a good boy. Honestly, spare me.

Drew wanting to sink Aurora as a revenge move is the dumbest thing. Think of your motherless daughter, you asshat.

Oh, no! Kai can't play football anymore! Didn't see that coming! How will I ever sleep at night.

I wish I were as certain of anything else as I was that it would be Brennan at Carly's door. For the "heroine" of the show, she really is helpless without a man to support her.

Also, of course Carly gets a suite all for herself in Germany. Because she deserves it. <eyeroll>  And Brennan has a car that he drive around a strange city where he probably doesn't know the language, instead of taking taxis, so that he can be Carly's chauffeur.

Drew, you didn't build up Aurora from the ground up, you bought it from Julian and renamed it.

"This Drew that's standing in front of me in my office, I don't recognize you. What the hell happened to you?"  Curtis, it's called a recast.

I really hate that everyone is attacking Willow for Drew while Saint Michael, who impregnated Sasha, gets a free ride. Along with Sasha herself who at least could stop castigating Willow  for her infidelity.

Why is Kai still in the hospital? Oh, shocker, he can't play football ever again, he injured his shoulder!  I guess he'll just have to keep hanging around Trina.

Does Lulu even remember that she has another child? Accepting Tracy's offer of double pay when Maxie and Brooke Lynne has just explained to her why she shouldn't work at Deception won no points with me.

I remember that Molly had a scene with a man at the Brown Dog telling her woes as she was breaking up with TJ. I thought that was Cody.

On this show, when someone is working professionally, it's always formal job titles as if they've never met the other person before.

No one knows yet about Michael and Sasha sleeping together. He'll skate the blame anyway, especially since he's been burned and isn't in town, but Sasha should be in for some scolding.

But for now, Willow (and Drew, but who cares) is Jezebel.

In defense of everyone, nobody knows about Michael and Sasha's ONS or their golden spawn. And quite the golden spawn it will be. I feel like the only reason they made Sasha Scorpio's daughter is so they can have a Scorpio/Spencer/Quartermaine/Corinthos baby. I know it won't be a Corinthos by blood, but it won't stop Sonny from claiming it.

Along with Sasha herself who at least could stop castigating Willow  for her infidelity.

Sasha has been brainwormed by the wonder penis that is Michael. I'm sure that baby is devouring any kind of sense she's ever had. Sasha was so inoffensive. Then the writers had to go and do that.

Lord I need someone to muzzle ShrewLu Stat! God damn that bitch is annoying between her Marcia Marcia Marcia obsession with Charlotte, ignoring not caring about Rocco and his feelings and her constant whining bitching sniping at Brooklyn I'm going need someone to shove her back in a coma cause this heifer is beyond tiresome and a broken record. I know some of it has to do with this terrible rewrite of Gio, Brooklyn and Dante. Like we fucking get it she's all brave righteous hoiler than thou "spunky" "brave" "badass" rah rah Spencer 🙄

She also needs to look in the mirror cause unlike Brooklyn she actually broke up a marriage and completely skated on it. GQ being teenagers and Lulu herself being one don't make any difference. A marriage is still a marriage. She got coddled by the whole damn town while not stfu about her damn abortion. I get ER version was far removed from JMB's version but GH is doing way to much and it's really heavy handed. Their is no likeability in AH version at all. I'm need Maxie to hurry up and tell her the horror story of the abomination that is PLP, Brooklyn helping her, being a friend, protecter of Bailey or she is going to have to be real mean to her so she comprehends it & be's quiet.

Brennan to Carly: Stop being so hard on yourself.

Dude, rest assured, never in her entitled life has Carly been "hard on herself" and her moments of self-reflection about anything last in the micro-seconds, before she finds someone else to blame and rage at for any of her consequences. Then Jason or Sonny (or a host of other dumb bastards ~now you) fix it for her.

I've criticized the writers before for not being able to tell a compelling story.  But I also realize that they are not able to recognize one when it's right in front of them.

I'm thinking of Rocco here.  A teenager trying to navigate, not just the travails of adolescence, but the return of the mother who has missed a quarter of his life, who doesn't know who his friends are, or whether he's ever had a crush, or what his hopes and dreams are.  The same teen who lost his functional stepmother in the same process that returned his mother.  Even if the show wasn't smart enough to incorporate some subtle coma-related personality changes to explore into Lulu, there's enough meat just in the reunification.  Finn Carr has shown us that he's capable of the kinds of scenes that should be taking place, and I would a thousand times rather see them than slimy Drew.

Some may think the Willow/Drew story is more soapy, but it's the (non-existent) Rocco (and Danny and Scout) story that is the kind that stays with me for years.

That makes the waste worse, that he would be able to carry the story but the writers aren't good enough to recognize what they have either in actor or storyline.

I know that no one other than Michael and Sasha know about their ONS and the fetus. I blame the cheap writing for protecting Michael and the latest Carly clone from the kind of repercussions that Willow is facing for her infidelity. (Drew, on the other hand, deserves everything he's getting.)

Do we really need yet another justification for the gummy bear mobster, yet another story where people formerly with brains  now worship at the Corinthos alter and praise Carly?

I wouldn’t of minded having a shades of gray Sidwell come to town, interact with Anna, Alexis, Laura, Ava, and Lucy as I like the actor and he plays charming well, but they made him into a sociopath and now it’s not that fun.

He’ll also be used to prop up “too stupid to get medical help” Sonny and I could definitely do without that.

Meanwhile, the digitalis investigation is going nowhere fast. Are they working around Kober’s schedule? Why make him the killer, it’s so anticlimactic.

How they’re going to explain Michael staying at the clinic and Carly coming back, will be a stretch. It would’ve worked better had she been off screen.

I hate puppy dog Brennan - he needs to be doing some spying darn it. Unless he’s totally playing Carly. I can work with that.

Who decided to make Tracy ultra annoying all week? Bulldozing everyone with her nepotism, was not fun to watch. Like her stubbornly keeping the kids away from Willow, doing this for entitled shrew Lulu, who wants to work at a low salary to fund her travels to find Charlotte (make it make sense), instead of coming up with a plan like Tracy asked her before giving her money, is making my head spin.

Word.  I haven't been back watching for long, but if Brennan is entranced with Carly then he's already DTM.

Carly's carefully curated retelling of Michael's conception, conflict with AJ and her going with Sonny because he knew he could get her custody of Michael omitted the meathook incident, along with so many others.  Ooops!  Forgot, or edited for brevity?  Sure.......

Even what she did tell Brennan put her squarely on the side of HERSON and the angels and little did she realize, until it was too late, that having her son live with a mobster for most of his life might not be a good idea.  What a saint she is.

Here's hoping somebody in Baden Baden hits hits her in the head head with wienerschnitzel.

The fact Carly's already talking about how a barely-stable Michael is apparently already getting whatever "cutting edge" non-scarring treatment makes it seem like the actor wanted a six-week break and this was the solution.

I also thought it was really dumb of Laura and Anna to completely show their hand for what it is—utterly ineffectual. That guarantees that Sidwell will do business in this town. They could have played that aspect with a bit more circumspection. Good grief.

I don't have the heart to try to go back and rewatch any of it, so I'm asking those with better memories----did Sasha not see Sidwell during her kidnapping?  Did he not identify himself to Holly when he demanded his jewels back?  Why is Anna acting like she can't arrest him just because she can't tie him to the explosion yet?

Oh then he is dead to you, because he’s been sniffing and panting after her since they met again when he was in jail. And it bears repeating that whoever gets involved with this Succubeast of a heiferous twattle* gets ruined. See Jax, and before he turned into a sleazoid Shilohwannabe, Drew. Mooby doesn’t count.

I rolled my eyes SO HARD at the white washing OUTRIGHT LYING of how Cujo brought the SLS into Mooby’s world. Yes, there was the meat hook incident where he forced AJ to give up his parental rights, but it was all about the POWER for her as a mob moll. First thinking she was Jaysus’ moll (remember when she gave the order to shoot that ended up with Brenda getting shot and Jason ripped her a new one?); then when she hate FUCKED Mooby which set the path for both of them to EAT the show.

I cackled when she whined how the clinic wouldn’t let her see HERSON. I REALLY wanted a scene where she was shown the door. But then I forgot that Korte is one of the head writers.

First, he’s in a coma, right? And for a show called GENERAL HOSPITAL-it’s too fucking early for any kind of reconstructive surgery. But this is Frank, who, along with his hacks, don’t give a shit and it’s all plot pointy. And LAZINESS.

Tracking back to Thursday, I 😒😒😒😒😒😒 and 🙄🙄🙄🙄🙄🙄🙄 at her howling that Willow cheated on her husband. And 🤬🤬🤬🤬 that she wasn’t struck by lightning since this heifer cheated on JAX with Mooby. More than ONCE.

Man, why did they have Laura look like an idiot? I’m not including Anna because she’s already been ruined. And Laura’s ruination has started. Again FUCK YOU FRANK, first with her hand waving Anna torturing Martin, then refusing to testify for Ava, and now this “you will not be able to conduct business in Port Charles” because Sidwell is EVUHL. And how much worse is he than Mooby, LAURA? Though on a shallow note, I did enjoy the way Genie used her eyebrows!

WHAAT?

Again, WHY is Drew STILL there in town? His ASS needs to be in DC, and since apparently he’s still a Congressman, he can’t be involved with Aurora. And his threat to Curtis being on the Appropriations Committee was a JOKE. Like a freshman Congressman has ANY power or sway.

*YES, I made up that phrase!

All the little children Frank dotes on get into the opening credits for no reason too, so of course they'll add Baldo. I find all of them (and him) deeply obnoxious to see there, and I remember when this show had literal dogs in the opening credits. Animals!

At this point I expect 2 year old Amelia or another infant to pop up in the next round. It feels very weird for FV to insist on these additions, it's like a weird fundie family reality show.

This is what I've been saying. If not for Sidwell's arrival and impending replacement role (and apparent lack of involvement in the recent hospital murders, to my surprise though I shouldn't be - GH once again went with the most obvious choice) we'd be back to a few more years of Cyrus while Jason glowers at him from across the Metro Court and vows vengeance for Sam, and continues to do nothing. Just as no one did anything when Cyrus bombed Charlie's, killed several people and put Lulu in a coma. Sidwell will fill that role completely soon enough.
