And therein is the Trina problem.

Curtis wouldn't cut Aunt Stella out but I can hear him going on and on about how could she interfere in his life like that, doesn't she know that he can make his own decision yadda yadda. I understand Stella, she's older and she's been sick, and other than the newfound cousin, Curtis is the only blood relative she has. She doesn't want him to be angry with her. If I were Jordan, I would have done the same.

I really want Curtis to get his comeuppance in terms of Trina and now Jordan. But this show, I've been waiting for that for Carly and Michael for years and nothing.

The whole Charlotte/ Caroline name stealing thing never made sense to me. For one, “Carly” is a logical diminutive for “Caroline”. Much more logical than for Charlotte, where the beginning C is pronounced entirely differently. If the show wanted to introduce the idea that Caroline “stole” the nickname Carly, they should have given her a different full name.

It would be like my neighbor complaining because my daughter Katherine starts calling herself Kate, when everyone knows that nickname belongs to her daughter Chantal! Or something. I just always thought that was weird.

Also, I hated that whole Reese storyline for multiple reasons, but mostly because they blew a perfect opportunity to bring back Sarah Brown in the role of Carly’s childhood friend. They should have saved that idea for her, but instead they wasted her in the godawful role of Claudia Zacchara.

Cohen's Hallelujah , My guide said it was GH and for a minute I thought they had a day player for Chase and he was performing lol! Then I realized it was very much too good to be GH.

It cracks me up how Sonny demands that Jordan keep him in the loop with what's happening on the hooker (heh) case, yet when anyone in the PCPD questions his family, he puts a stop to it. Of course he wants it both ways.

The more Portia pushes Curtis to answer if he and Jordan would have divorced if she hadn't lied, the more I think the question is unfair. Lying was just one of their issues. It was probably the biggest, but there were others.

I'm not sure how getting hooked requires an infectious disease consultation, but okay, Portia. I'm sure Brando can wait while you harass your fiancé.

You didn't miss much (do we ever miss much) if it's any consolation. 

Brando woke up, spoke with Jordan, talked about how he heard the same noise that comes from Sasha's bracelets when they cling together coming from this person. So a woman attacker, I guess. The episode ends with him going into shock or sepsis, since they kept talking about sepsis.

Jordan in the hallway where nobody can hear mentions to Sonny how they're keeping the hook out of the papers. Tells Sonny not to tell. Finn overhears, hightails it to Alexis and dad and tells them about the hook, so I imagine Alexis will publish that in her paper.

I think these are the highlights plus the stuff IDGAF about like Portia jonesing about her relationship with Curtis and secrets and lies and the almighty Joss.

Wainwright was crying. In the pews, Clark was singing silently.

It was funeral for only 20 minutes. Then it cut to Portia and Curtis and I  was "Take me back to the funeral."

When Dex told Sonny that Joss had spotted the guy looking out for her, Sonny said "She's like her mother. Suspicious."  I really thought that he was going to say 'smart' so kudos to the writer for that. And for Trina pointing out to Joss that her mother no longer owns the hotel so stop making a scene and giving Nina an excuse to kick  you out.

Also in good writing, Kevin's hypnosis induction.

Hey, Kevin is left-handed! But Dex wears dog tags, maybe they clink like bracelets (as @Peppermint Patty said).

I like Brando. Why can't Dex or Cody or even Michael die instead?

They deserve each other. I hope that it comes out that Curtis was lying about the mob when he gets mad at her for keeping the Trina secret. But they'll probably just forgive each other.

The "I want you gone" was so fucking obnoxious.  The thing to do was tell whatever employee was on pool duty that this creepy dude was ogling her and let them deal with it--but, no, Carly Jr. thinks her 18 year old self is in charge.  Such a brat.  And Cam deserves better than having his girlfriend sniffing around the newest town mobster. 

Finally an inch of progress in this repressed memory of Elizabeth's.  Maybe the entire story will unfold by St. Patrick's Day.

I guess I always equated infectious with unusual/unexplained infections, not something as well-known as sepsis. I was in the hospital a few years ago with a reaction to an accidental overdose of medicine (I was taking the prescribed amount, but it was too much for my body), and while my doctor knew what was happening, because I was in the hospital I had to go through all the protocol, which included being seeing by an infectious-disease specialist. He was basically a backstop in case something else was going on. Fortunately it was exactly what was originally thought.

In our case it was my husband who has some complex medical issues, including allergies to a large swath of antibiotics, that made an infectious disease expert necessary.

If there is ID on a hospital's staff, they'll usually be asked to evaluate and give their thoughts on septic patients. There has to be an antibiotic regimen tailored to the underlying infection, and it's such a potentially grave situation.

While there's a lot that still bugs me about GH, I have to acknowledge that TPTB have achieved  a pretty good balance these days in storyline areas. (Not pacing though.) 

Carly in Jacksonville could have been left on the cutting room floor but at least she wasn't in every scene back home. It was nice!

That's interesting about an infectious disease specialist seeing your husband. My mother died of sepsis from a PICC line (my guilt at authorizing it as her medical PoW continues); I wonder if she could have survived had an infectious disease doctor consulted beforehand.

Curtis asks Jordan if they'd still be married if there were no papers. DUDE YOU WERE THE ONE WHO FILED. SHE NEVER WANTED HIM. stupid butt. Curtis is so stupid. 

Brando is dying. We get a Brasha montage. (his hair looks much better now than before). I forgot about the Titanic love scene. (also i get they love each other but i still can't forget that they got married because she was high). Brando is dead.  Sasha and Gladys lose it. Nina goes for Sasha, Portia gets Gladys. (Portia for the record sucks at delivering this news and explaining what happened)

Sonny gets to be comforted by Deanna, and gets to talk to dead Brando. 

Carly's Jacksonville tour continues. Who cares, not me.
Carly remembers that her mother said"She's wonderful how she is." Carly wishes she could believe it. Me too. because she's not.  She apologizes to her mom.  apparently they are shutting down the cemetery to have  a parkway close to the beach LOL. apparently carly didn't get the memo she needs to move her mom. It was sent to Jason. Carly decided to be all bitch and goes "No one is being moved.." the cementary.... is apparently right behind the tiki bar LOL so she rushes in and yells at Reese's Mom that she will NOT move the dead people (Dear Mad Hooker. can you make a stop in Jacksonville?).. Carly... Carly goes to Reese's mother. "you are so entitled you believe you can do whatever you want."  Carly isn't going to Aruba. She's gonna fight for dead people.

Sonny talks to  this guy. and legit goes.... "every life matters.". my brain explodes, and lightning strikes Sonny dead...(or it should have).

Liz freaks out during hypno. Kevin brings her out of it and she splits. then she and Finn talk and she remembers something about mountains, goes back to Kevin and goes "what if my Dad pushed the lady down the stairs." (screw you show)

Alexis has a plan to... have the killer to write the Editor like Jack the Ripper. Papa Chase basically laughs at her. (Me too). they find out about Brando dying (because these nurses are chatting about this in the hall). they decide to go w/the article.

Portia believes Brando died from something Sinister. 

Stella prays for the family, and we get a montage

i have no idea why people wear 1/2 tucked clothing. it looks odd.

Well, that was messed up but pretty obvious w/how happy everyone was that Brando had survived. And he and Sasha were making plans yesterday. I only saw the last few minutes yesterday but  . . . . that was a huge anvil for his death so I wasn't shocked when he started seizing. It sucks that losers like Michael and Cody stick around while we lose guys like Brando. I've always been much more entertained by Brando than CD's Michael and pointless Cody! 

I feel bad for Sasha and Gladys! I'm not sure why they are putting poor Sasha through so much pain. I really see her ODing. She won't be able to handle this. 

This stuff w/Liz is too dragged out. Just get to the point already. 

Curtis is still arrogant and obnoxious! I hate how he treats Jordan and all his interactions w/her. He is an ass! 

The actress playing Jordan has no maternal instincts. LOL! I tend to forget she's TJ's mom. I have no kids, but if my kid's friend just died, I would put my hand on his shoulder or his arm or something. And the look she gave when he left . . . . just wasn't good. I haven't had complaints about her but this was my first time actually watching her scenes. I liked what I saw w/jerky Curtis but TJ . . . . I felt nothing.  ----- OK, they hugged! But it was still strangely cold. 

I muted Carly! Why was she on today anyway? I don't care about her or her mother's grave! And why would the contact for her mother's grave site be Jason?!?!! Could she not handle anything on her own??!!?! What a joke! 

ETA: @PatsyandEddie - But who poisoned him? I don't recall anyone other than family being in his room. Maybe a hospital worker?
