I have always found RSW to be super smug in his acting choices, so he fits the role of Alex well, but please please please please get this smarmy asshole off my screen soon. He serves no purpose, and so far his storyline is just borderline offensive. Until he completely threw her under the bus to save his own ass, I really liked Gwen and Leo/Matty together. Their scene when Gwen was confessing how she just wanted to put the blame on Sarah was very well done.

Beverly and Veronica (how many times have you called them Betty and Veronica?) strike me as people who don't hear "no" often in their lives. I was wondering why Court and Ali were so quick to help them find the clue, and that likely explains it.

One cannot deny the cultural impact Friends had on the western world (the Rachel haircut! Going commando!) but the show for the most part has not aged well. But I wouldn't necessarily deem it overrated for that.

Joan Cusak's eye makeup in this movie is a work of art. It should be hung in museums, and universities should offer classes in its study.

This is a good point for TDWP. Other than a slight change to her hairstyle, Andy facially looked the same. It was her clothes that changed primarily. Although, the context of it in the movie was "you need to fit in with the fashionistas, so you do need to change."

I had a similar thought re: Li's hotel room. You're telling me Li Shin can't afford a suite at the Salem Inn? Or at the very least, rent a nice pied-a-terre for the times he's in town?

Yes, it's hilarious that Chad keeps hauling people in to the station - but someone has to actually do police work 'round town, and it ain't the Salem PD. Nancy keeps claiming Leo is responsible for her marriage falling apart. No, your husband realizing he's gay did. Leo just happened to be the person who Craig realized it with. Leo is responsible for a lot of things, but let's not write it like Leo convinced Craig is gay, shall we? Let's have this story line have one iota of maturity.

I saw it for the second time at the IMAX in my city (which boasts a several-stories high screen). It was completely sold out.

There is some speculation now that Global (which airs DOOL in Canada) may retain rights, so it would still be available to us on regular cable TV. I'm not sure if that makes me happy or prolongs my suffering... 😆

I think it was supposed to be played off as he wasn't sure how to refer to Belle, as they are separated. But the line reading wasn't great.

A few years back I read a book covering the stories of many of the more prominent survivors - including Ismay. It covered the trial afterwards as well. Many of them had absolutely horrible lives afterwards - a lot of hardships and tragedy, let's put it that way. I apologize I can't think of the name (and Google isn't helping), but I'll come back if I think of it. It was a fascinating read. Also, I couldn't care less about Jack and Rose. Have you ever noticed how many times they say each other's names? "Jack, did you see that Jack?" "Rose, that's so lovely Rose."
