  1. Is that considered "natural causes"? I honestly don't know how they categorize these things.
  2. It's obviously none of my beeswax, but natural causes at 60? That's naturally going to raise some questions.

    Clue (1985)

I didn't quite understand the part about Ving's voice being dubbed. In his (albeit short) interview clips, he sounds quite similar to his character. EDIT TO ADD: Google tells me they didn't feel his voice was "sinister enough", which led to the dubbing. The creator of the documentary does say that he was supposed to interview Tim Curry, but got COVID the day of the interview. He also references voice mails from Martin Mull. My question is, if this took 5 years to put together, why didn't he reschedule those? I did love the clip shown from a convention where Curry speaks so beautifully and hilariously of his time working on the movie. And that fourth ending? Let's just say... glad it was left on the cutting room floor.
  4. Max P15 to P2 is well, just what we expected from Max. Only Alonso has gone P15 to winning. Also, geez FIA - Alonso is third, then he's not, no wait, yes he is. Poor George is gonna have to pull down his post about taking the place. 😄 Anyone else picturing Ricciardo sitting around, counting his millions they paid out for his contract, laughing hysterically watching McLaren absolutely implode?
  5. Jennifer Grey's book does not paint him in a good light. (They were engaged, so she certainly has inside knowledge on his character.) While I love the movie Ferris Bueller, I really had a hard time with Matthew after reading her take.

I don't know if she would have worked as well as Leslie Ann Warren. Warren oozed sex appeal in the movie, and as she mentions in that oral history, played that up. I loved Carrie Fisher, but I'm not sure she could have worked the same angle, which made Miss Scarlett who she was.
  7. Tom Sizemore was utterly fantastic in Saving Private Ryan. I am sorry that his life took a turn, and that he left the world too early.
  8. This is exactly what I came to say, down to the serotonin hit! I may have yelled out to Mr. Market "THERE IS AN ENTIRE ROOM FULL OF BABU FRIKS!" It was a perfect mix of serious (Din wanting to redeem himself) and the hilarity of Grogu doing what Grogu does best. The chair spinning had me legit giggling. Not sure about the Bo Katan stuff yet. She's super pissy about the Dark Saber isn't she?
  9. While I just love the movie period, Hans Zimmer's score for Gladiator elevates it even more. Speaking of favourite scenes...
  10. I'm not surprised the issues of onsite abuse weren't included. The prime objective of DTS is to entice more fans to F1. Also, I have my sincere doubts about how much the FIA actually did to mitigate this in the future.
  11. It does seem like less false drama, so far. I absolutely loved the principals meeting with F1. "If there's something wrong with your car, fix the f*cking car!" And then Mattia's eyeroll at Guenther while Toto was whining about the porposing.
  12. Watched the first two episodes so far. I want an entire spin off of the adventures of Mattia and Guenther. 😄
  13. Rachel stood up for herself and didn't allow Eleanor to bring her down at the wedding. She ended up sitting with Princess Intan (and being friendly with her) right in the front row. As they planned, she played chicken with Eleanor - she didn't back down.
  14. Definitely FF'd through the non-competition stuff in the last episode. Way too much filler this season. I agree with @sadtvjunkie- showcasing different, yet "tough" jobs would be great. It's not just the traditional trades. I remember that some questioned Michelle the baggage handler when she was first on, but she proved to be skilled in certain areas and an asset to her team. (Plus, lifting those suitcases day in day out is not easy.)
  15. The wedding scene in Crazy Rich Asians. That cover of Can't Help Falling in Love is beautiful, and the whole wedding is completely over the top and gorgeous.
  16. I was in love with Sean Patrick Flannery in those days.
  17. I remember after the massive housing market crash in 2008, all the flip shows stopped. I wonder if we're seeing a move towards that again with recession and housing prices, etc. I don't mind the home reno shows per se, but I don't need 15 versions of the same show. I flip! Oh yeah, I flip, but in New Orleans! OH YEAH, I FLIP, BUT IN NEW ORLEANS AND ONLY HOMES BUILT WITH BRICK...
  18. I haven't watched a Police Academy movie in years and I'm sure many parts of them have not aged well, but damn if it doesn't hurt to see someone from a staple of your youth pass.
  19. I cannot get into Andor. It's a beautifully shot show and I am a big Star Wars fan, but sweet merciful crap it's painfully slow. I know it picks up near the end, but it's Star Wars - I need way more action, not 5 episodes of talking about the plan.
  20. After watching Tenet, Inception seems easy to understand and follow. Inception is a beautifully filmed movie, definitely deserving of awards for special effects, but it's not one that I'm aching to rewatch.
  21. If Sergio hadn't dropped his first box, I'm guessing he would have won the OT challenge. I can't put my finger on it, but there's something about Jake that rubs me the wrong way.
  22. There were many options for Becky to find a quiet space to finish her paper, including the local library branch or school. The entire story line was PLOT! to shoehorn in the issues between Ben and Darlene. That's the problem with this show, they find decent stories for the characters (it wouldn't be out of place for Becky to be stressed juggling work, school and family), but the follow through is usually unrealistic. I loved the twist at the end where Jackie claimed it was she who forgot about the tapes. As @Starchildsaid, more of this Jackie please.
  23. Of course I'll watch regardless, but there seems to be less and less participation (or willing participation) from some drivers. Over the past couple of years, both Checo and Max have said they wouldn't participate - so I guess we're stuck with a lot of Horner. 😄 Danny Ric is always a willing participant, so it will be sad to see him not involved (we assume) next season.
  24. I was more surprised by the fact that that many students would show up to a teacher's funeral 50-ish years later. I went to a teacher's service once, but I was 1 year out of high school so his (wonderful) impression on me was still fresh. I root for Becky. I hope she finds her way.
