  1. Just saw the news this morning and couldn't wait to join all you guys in giving a big "nine-nine" shout out! I am deliriously happy!
  2. Loved this scene and Hulk's "no" when Thor came to apologize, he just looked so hurt and Thor knew he had gone too far.
  3. I have been enjoying this show a lot. I agree with a lot of posters that the show really moves at a fast pace. I wonder if this is supposed to be a one season run or if something major is going to happen with the season finale to shift the focus. On any other show it would be a few seasons before Gambi revealed his true identity to Jefferson and another few seasons before the girls manifested powers and they certainly wouldn't tell anyone in the same or next few episodes. How can the showrunners maintain this pace without a huge shakeup?
  4. My UO is that I didn't love Kilgrave on Jessica Jones. I didn't find him charismatic or that he elevated the series. On second watch I generally fast forwarded through most of his scenes. I am relieved that he won't play a significant part in season two.
  5. I agree with everyone else who loved this episode. Just a nice little getaway. I can see it is clear that Albert is not a fan of Lezhen but this show has never spelled out why he doesn’t like her, or have I just missed it. Can’t believe Mrs. Skerrit didn’t even give the hot Scot permission to write.
  6. I really enjoyed the first episode. I felt bad for Dave because that's a kid who clearly needs some adult supervision. I'm glad Louis figured out what was happening and stepped in to provide some support and boundaries. Also, Marvin may be crazy (how old is he?) but he does come through with good advice for Louis.
  7. Natasha Richardson, she was married to Liam Neeson at the time of her skiing accident. Interesting theory about Jack.
  8. Suddenly I don't know why I don't have more boxed sets of shows I loved. But I do have Farscape including the Peacekeeper War, Scarecrow and Mrs. King and Homicide: Life on the Streets
  9. It was a bit heavy handed and Dre acting like a baby over testing his levels just had me rolling my eyes. Having said that, I've had family members die from diabetes complications so it's a real problem and you can't just wish it away. Never was into Rick Fox during his playing days, mostly out of loyalty to Vanessa Williams, but he has turned into quite the silver fox.
  10. I suppose that could work except for the fact that Clark's body was seen in a coffin in Martha's house at the end of BvS. It wasn't a matter of thinking he died, they knew he died and they buried him.
  11. Really looking forward to this, can't wait for December 15th, may have to take off work early. I still don't completely trust Poe. I haven't been able to reconcile his getting off that planet and back to the resistance, haven't been able to buy his explanation to Finn. So I can't relax when his character is on screen enough to get invested in a potential relationship because I still think he's shady. And just no to any kind of Rey/Kylo romantic relationship.
  12. Still catching up, what a great episode! For all the reasons everyone already mentioned. I had forgotten about Arrian but was wondering why Chase looked familiar. I never trusted Victor and now I feel justified. So much has already been covered but just have to ask why we were deprived of Ryo/Four smiling, because he has an amazing smile.
  13. I liked this episode, like others I really enjoy Honey and Jessica as best friends. I was also kind of shocked by Eddie's growth spurt and voice change. It seems all his friends hit a growth spurt too. I guess that's appropriate for high school. It really seems they didn't even try to make WOF look retro, but it was still enjoyable.
  14. Just catching up this season with Netflix and had to comment on this one. It was just a lot of fun and had a few laugh out loud moments. As almost everyone has mentioned, I really loved the Android and her obsession with saving money. Loved her taking on the den mother role giving them a shopping list and getting what she asked for unless there was something on special. Loved it, she really is in....dispensable. And yes, Six should always wear glasses. Two clearly needs a dog.
  15. I like Emma Stone in general, but after watching this movie I was baffled as to why she won an Oscar. Sometimes you go to a movie and you just know a person is at least going to get nominated, if not win, for their performance. This was not one of those times. Who was her competition?
  16. I understand everyone's comments about how Scientology has an influence over her relationship with her older children but I took her comments to be directed towards her family that was immediately affected by her working on BLL. I thought her speech was more about how she can show the Emmy to her two children at home as a way of explaining why she wasn't there for them so much during that time. I didn't take it as she was talking about her whole family. That's just my opinion.
  17. I just saw this movie recently and thought it was great. I was kind of holding my breath through the last half hour or so because I just knew Tom Hanks character wasn't going to make it through but just wondering when and where was so tense.
  18. Claire, the nurse, played by Rosario Dawson has been in all the DC Comic shows and has been great in all of them. I'm assuming, I still haven't watched Iron Fist.
  19. I'm glad I finally caught this on Netflix. Michael Keaton was wonderful, although I wound up not liking his character by the end. I also didn't know a lot of the history but like others felt worse for the brothers losing their identity and even their name. They did receive a nice check for the times they were living in but the fact that they had to remove their own name from their restaurant was just sad. And that Ray Kroc took credit for their ideas just made me mad. I'm glad we didn't have to see any more of Joan leaving her husband for Ray, it was painful enough watching Ray tell Ethel (?) he wanted a divorce after passing the salt, the guy was just ruthless. But well acted by everyone involved.
  20. I just saw this last night and really enjoyed it. I felt almost immediately that the "actors" were the real deal. I thought the twist with the wife at the end was good and I'll have to watch again to see if there are any hints earlier. I think I knew when he went to her house because I was thinking how does he know where she lives and why did she let this relative stranger into her house? The movie wasn't at all what I expected and I would recommend it to others.
  21. This is actually one of my favorite season 7 episodes. But I didn't hate Vic so that helps. And you're right it was a last chance at levity. I really liked how everyone that ever got any kind of help from Vic were right there to help him out. And James Darren and Avery Brooks singing at the end was very nice.
  22. When I watched it last night it was close captioned on Hulu, maybe because I have my tv set up to close caption everything?
  23. I caught this on Hulu and really enjoyed it. I guess if Adam West hadn't passed away we may never have gotten this episode but what a nice tribute to him. I actually thought epi. 9 showed that this show could be better but got pulled too soon. I will miss this show.
