Quite an interesting and fun episode. Elena was fun being drunk but it’s sad she broke up with Javier so not to interfere in the parental relationship he’s building with Helene

S04.E13: Happy People Are Lazy
DanaK replied to jewel21's topic in Bob ❤️ Abishola (Bob Hearts Abishola)
Abishola’s stern inability to just enjoy being happy is kind of annoying but at least she got back to studying for her exams. The initial meeting between a young Tunde and Ole at the end was a joy to watch. It will be interesting to see who comes out on top between Christina and Kofo in their upcoming presentations. I appreciated that she didn’t want to do the pitch behind Kofo’s back -
Enjoyable episode though a little sad in parts. The various dancing sequences were a lot of fun

About 15.5 million viewers for the premiere after the game. Big but per a TV critic’s tweet, apparently the smallest audience for a post-Super Bowl drama in modern ratings history

Not Dead Yet in the Media: In Lieu of Flowers...
DanaK replied to Meredith Quill's topic in Not Dead Yet
SpoilerTV says there are 13 episodes and the finale is on April 26; Futon Critic isn't showing this info yet -
He also seems to have breathing issues. I think he’s had a hip replacement which is probably the reason he sits so much and walks so stiffly I enjoyed the episode overall and especially enjoyed Frank’s storyline. I do wish he could have perp walked the captain and 2 detectives, but at least he terminated them. That was egregious behavior on their parts. I was kind of bored by Erin’s story until she pulled her gun on that guy

Hard to believe the guy who dropped his plate wasn’t one of two facing elimination

For those of us with Comcast cable and who subscribed to Peacock for free, as we have been warned was eminent, that’s coming to an end this Summer, as of June 26 to be exact https://variety.com/2023/digital/news/comcast-xfinity-subs-losing-peacock-free-access-1235520530/

They’ve insisted before on saying life partner so it seems to be a pattern for them. After all, they did have a ceremony and legal paperwork

I liked the episode though it would have been nice to have the disabled detective be someone we’ve seen before or at least have us see Danny talk to Sid about her in this episode Nice to see Erin and her boss put aside their differences to work together and see through the pastor’s conniving, plus his possible crooked actions

Poor Victor. It was rich of Bonnie trying to put 100% of the blame on him and his schedule when she contributed to the problem by traveling so much. I assume Bonnie is making good money being a sports agent so I wonder if she’ll have to pay alimony if this ends in divorce? Hicks still got it I felt sorry for Miguel and his family and appreciate Hicks trying to reach out, but once the young man chose violence against others, he stepped on his message

Interesting that Dwayne got into acting because Vince wanted to use it to promote wrestling

Thanks for providing the cast list. I was trying to figure out Peter’s accent and thought it sounded Singaporean and that was correct per Wikipedia plus probably an Australian accent in there as well Fun episode

DanaK replied to chitowngirl's topic in The Grammy Awards
That seemed like a longer than normal In Memorium segment, but I thought it was moving and very effective
