  5. Goodwin seems way more competent and experienced than Douglas at least. I'm not sure Douglas was ready to move back up from the warehouse work. I continue to not like the way Christina is being treated. If Dottie wanted to punish her for the reasons I can't remember, she would do better to put Christina in the warehouse job Douglas had or something similar. They are treating her like crap now (and they have previously) and it doesn't sit well with me. It just makes it obvious Dottie has treated her kids poorly, though I'm not sure if that's the viewpoint the show intended
  6. I don’t understand though why Marty would think Malcolm would enjoy Marty asking him to be best man in a very geeky way. I’m glad though that Malcom made up with Marty in a geeky way even though it was mixed up
  7. Canceled https://deadline.com/2023/01/rat-in-the-kitchen-cancelled-at-tbs-1235238078/
  8. Definitely some major geekiness on display in tonight’s episode with Marty and Dave. It’s cute that Malcolm apologized in geek character It’s interesting that Calvin wasn’t as into cornhole once he won but Gemma had a major pout that she couldn’t go with his opponent
  9. Excellent preliminary ratings following the game, with the first episode earning a 2.0 in the 18-49 demo and 8.4 million viewers. The real test will be in its regular timeslot on Tuesdays. It's going to inevitably lose viewers after such a big lead-in, but it will either settle in nicely or drop like a stone into awful numbers like "Alert"

    S01.E02: Hugo

I just marvel at the inappropriate things Nikki lets happen in the unit that she supervises. The elevator scene alone should have been shut down the minute anyone saw where it was going. Kemi's idiotic recitations of men she supposedly slept with in another life should also be shut down because for sure the Ben Franklin one went nowhere. She wanted to indicate she could tell the vision set for the glasses in a picture, but she could have just said that instead of tying it to Ben Franklin inventing glasses or whatever because one didn't help the other. Plus the constant incense she lights off that bothers at least one other employee because of the smoke. Plus, the issue of hiring her estranged husband who has his own inappropriate issues and won't sign the divorce papers to work in the office while she is also the supervisor of her current boyfriend
  11. https://tvline.com/2023/01/21/ghosts-tara-reid-photo-season-2-spoilers-trevor/ A Trevor focused episode coming up
  12. ^The above post should have said "life changing decision" Ha ha
  13. I can understand on one hand Marshall not wanting to revisit his diagnosis because it won’t change the years away from his family, but if he’s still taking medication and he doesn’t need it, he needs to stop taking it (with medical supervision). It’s also possible he has something else less bad and either needs to adjust his medication or get put on something else. Of course I’m not sure how accurate the show is being having a patient taking medication for schizophrenia who might not have it but hasn’t suffered ill effects from it as far as we know
  14. Canceled. Series finale will be May 14 https://deadline.com/2023/01/ncis-los-angeles-canceled-final-season-14-end-cbs-series-finale-date-1235229384/
  15. There certainly weren’t that many lol Sonny getting his memories back and returning to Port Charles, which resulted in a bunch of changes and a lot of good soapy upheaval, including divorcing Carly and getting together with Nina, the latter of which has been a nice change Peter’s kidnapping of Maxie and his subsequent death (not the beginning or endless middle though lol). As a result of that, Maxie’s reunion with her daughter and the reveal to a bunch of people that Bailey was her daughter not Brook Lynn’s Brit’s exit via death by the Hook There could be others, but these are the ones I could think of off the top of my head since 2020
  16. Possibly, though if his mom is still alive, he could go visit her because she’s sick or injured
  17. Some storylines have had a good payoff, but I totally agree that too many have had a weak payoff, like Chase catching Willow and Michael together he and Willow were married and quickly forgiving them
  18. That's sad. Hope all goes well for him and he can return to the show
  19. I do appreciate though that Portia is now plainly telling him she thinks he’s been misdiagnosed, though for whatever reason he doesn’t want to get a second opinion
  20. Next doc: "Bullies of Baltimore" about the 2000 Baltimore Ravens. It will premiere Feb 5 at 8:30pm ET http://www.thefutoncritic.com/news/2023/01/19/espn-films-latest-30-for-30-bullies-of-baltimore-about-2000-baltimore-ravens-premieres-february-5-at-830-pm-et-724413/20230119espn01/
  21. I haven’t seen this yet, but I think Madoff being Jewish and a lot of his clients being Jewish made for some ties that possibly blinded a lot of the clients and potential clients to red flags. There was a trust there of someone like them

  23. I misunderstood and thought you meant the actress playing Maggie; that actress has cancer. I forgot about the daughter leaving
