  1. Chabi was a favorite of mine and so was Hundred Eyes. Kublai was great, though I agree with whoever said it was disappointing to get less of him in the latter episodes. I watched the first few episodes with a friend who absolutely couldn't stand Prince Jingim, but I got where he was coming from. He was irritated at his father favoring Marco, who he (naturally) viewed as an interloper. Also, Remy Hii is pretty, so that may have helped too. As for Marco, I totally agree that he was the least interesting character. They really didn't need him to tell the overall story. That said, I didn't mind him or his portrayer. Finally, I'm going to miss Sidao. I thought he was a great antagonist for Kublai.
  2. Frank Lampard will remain with Manchester City until the end of the season, ensuring he'll miss the first half of the MLS regular season. And yes, as a Red Bull New York fan, I am enjoying the Keystone Cops-ness of this immensely.
  3. Seriously! That was the most absurd part of this whole thing!
  4. Because of course. I sure hope these folks were as bent out of shape at the historical inaccuracies in Lincoln, which somehow managed to tell the end of slavery story sans Fredrick Douglass!
  5. I don't get the hype over this movie either.
  6. I still like Wes (realize I'm in the minority on this), though this could be because I find Alfie Enoch utterly adorable.
  7. Midweek league and cup action. Liverpool won, Dortmund drew, Bayern won (ho hum, what else is new). Oh, and Thierry Henry has retired. Great player. I'll miss seeing him in the colors of my New York Red Bulls. What are the chances Henry starts his career as a pundit covering the Arsenal v. Monaco Champions League tie?
  8. Yeah, I feel bad for Kan. He is a sweetheart and hot as well. Not sure why Laurel is throwing him over for the sleazy Frank.
  9. I have never seen It's a Wonderful Life, but the posts here are making me chuckle. They are not, however, making me want to watch the movie.
  10. Ugh. I think I'm going to have to see Insurgent because Daniel Dae Kim is a favorite of mine.
  11. I've only been following the PL since the fall of 2010, so I missed this incident. Don't get why Stoke fans boo Ramsey when their player broke his leg! *smh*
  12. No worries, I pay enough attention to them for everyone :-) Speaking of My Real, we're getting Schalke 04 for the second year running in the Champions League round of 16. There are a lot of other repeats from last season's knockout stages, but these still look like good match-ups - especially Juve/Dortmund. Paris Saint-Germain v Chelsea Man City v Barca Leverkusen v Atletico Juventus v Dortmund Schalke v Real Shakhtar v Bayern Arsenal v Monaco Basel v Porto
  13. Every time someone said the word "Thinnie" I kept thinking of those chips at Jimmy John's.
  14. Well, Kirk Acevedo and Zeljko Ivanek are reason enough for me to tune in.
  15. Yep! I'm so stoked that we're getting a fourth season, I am only mildly disappointed that it's a shortened one.
  16. Glad my Real won their last Group Stage game. Not sure how long they can keep up this winning streak, especially with Modric and now James injured.
  17. Wes saying that it was ok Sam was dead because he was going to let Rebecca go to jail for killing Lila was so WTF for me. Um, Wes - weren't you a-ok with Annalise planting evidence in Griffin's car? I like Wes, but he can have all the seats on that one.
  18. Red herring suspects are one of my favorite tropes, and the Community episode did a great job with that one.
  19. I am watching "Savior" now on Sundance. I've always liked this episode, particularly for the twist at the end.
  20. Cast shares their best theories of who killed Sam Tom Verica has my fave.
  21. Nightmare Before Christmas and A Christmas Carol (1951 version featuring Alistair Sim) are my favorite Christmas movies. That version of ACC is actually quite creepy.
  22. That's mostly my feeling about Ro as well. I didn't realize she was popular among fans. But then I never saw what the big deal was with Tasha Yar either.
