  1. I have to say that one thing that gave me chills was Wes staring off into the distance saying he's afraid he's going crazy. That just made me sad. I still have no use for Rebecca, though. I can't even bring myself to dislike her anymore because she's just so damn boring.
  2. Wes' I'm-about-to-faint-from-fear face at the end of the episode made me laugh. Not because I don't appreciate the gravity of the situation, but because we have all had that oh-shit moment where we're caught or about to be (admittedly, for most of us, it's not murder-related, but still). I enjoyed Laurel immensely tonight, and trust me I never thought I'd type such a sentence. Her antics at the family dinner were fun, and I loved her trying to get that group therapy session going. It was so absurd, yet logical, that I was both amused and moved. Poor Michaela. She just has no idea how to cope. I like Oliver so much. He could be good for Connor. But if Connor doesn't mess it up, I'm sure that pesky murder will. I like Annalise and Nate together, and loved their scene tonight. But this elicited a WTF from me as well. So, his dying wife is all "It's totes cool that you're cheating on me. I want you to be happy." What the actual fuck? I sincerely hope his wife's conning him and plotting some sort of revenge that can be carried out posthumously.
  3. Well, at least Olivia got some agency back in this episode. So, next week will bring us I just...
  4. So, Lucious left a happy anniversary rose at Cookie's doorstep. Did he forget they're divorced?
  5. So - this was the polar opposite of last week's episode. Lots and lots of plot. Andre is as awful as his devious daddy. I liked Jamal's song. I may even download it. Yeah, I know! Cookie to the cab driver: "What do you mean, you people? You black like me." Cookie is love.
  6. I didn't need to hear ALL the details of Doug and Jamie's first time. They both irritate me - Doug with his sex obsession and Jamie with her fake sunniness. It is nice to see that Monet is still friends with Jamie and Cortney.
  7. Yes to ALL of this! That episode is one of the few times I was here for Abby's contemptuous bitchfaces.
  8. Cole did have a look in this episode (when the CDC doctor was telling Cassie she needed a break) like it was sinking in how much his presence had messed up Cassie's life. I'm sure she resents it on some level, and I have no doubt that it will come into play at some point.
  9. Yes. Yes. Right again. You're not missing anything. This is pretty standard Shonda Rhimes. The wife is a bitch for existing; her husband and his girlfriend are twu wuv. (see Grey's Anatomy for her first iteration of this template)
  10. I've noticed that too, though I wonder how much of the change in attitude is due to their self-consciousness about being on the show - i.e., they won't show their true feelings while they're on camera
  11. I hope we see Nate's wife at some point. I'd like to think she knows about his affair with Annalise and is plotting some way to get revenge on him.
  12. Can we please call it the Big Mural O' Treason forever? I love that!
  13. There's a good Law & Order episode from the mid-90s with this exact plot. A wife tries to frame her husband for the murder of a prostitute he had been seeing, all the while seeming to stand by him, even testifying as a character witness. It's one of my favorite episodes from the series. I certainly wouldn't put it past Annalise to have such a master plan.
  14. I like Cassie. Mostly I like that she is kind of a mess.
  15. Mine is that I never got the big deal with him to begin with (never watched Parks & Recreation)
  16. I read this as "The detective is so yummy." Yeah - I'm shallow.
  17. I am never sure how much Nate trusts Annalise. It seems like he's not completely blind to how manipulative and calculating she can be. And yet, I never doubt that he cares for her (or that she cares for him). It'll be interesting to see if their relationship survives the season. My guess is that with all the lies and treachery and plotting, it won't.
  18. TNT is showing "Hubris." This is a love-hate episode for me. Tim Guinee as the perp who ends up defending himself is so awful and smarmy, I love his performance but hate hate hate his character. I also hate how obtuse the trial judge has to be in order for the perp/defense attorney to succeed. BUT...I love Abby's numerous bitchfaces - especially when the idiot jury foreperson comes to the DA's office to confess that she'd been dating the perp (during the trial!)
  19. I re-watched this episode to see if I would "get it." I realized I had a few contradictory reactions to the ep. I liked Kerry Washington's performance, so much so that I found Olivia's actions and reactions fairly believable (when I wasn't questioning the logic of the entire situation. Yeah, I know) I enjoyed the direction of the episode. It was something different, which intrigued me. Also, I'm a big Tom Verica fangirl, so there's that. With all that said, I still don't get the point of the episode. The kidnappers needed Olivia to confirm her importance to the POTUS? So, they orchestrate the most convoluted plan to achieve that? This is where Shonda Rhimes frustrates me. I think it was a waste to spend an entire episode just so Ian could say "He loves you. He'll never stop looking for you." We get it, Shonda. Olitz are twu wuv. You've beaten us over the head with it for four seasons. I still hate them and will continue to do so.
  20. I'm having only hate-hate toward Hallmark Channel. All Valentine's Day movies? On a normal day, Hallmark is a Valentine's movie marathon, except for when they show GG, The Middle and Fraser. Now, they're taking over the entire schedule with that crap? Ugh!
  21. I'm with BooBear - I think Cole is hot as hell.
  22. Watching Mike Logan's last episode. Daniel Hugh Kelly is typecast in my mind as only playing bad guys - largely because of his various roles in this franchise! Occupational hazard, I guess.
  23. Does this mean Jones is a goner too?
