These people need Annalise Keating. For real! Vernon is everyone's secret keeper. I shoulda known he was a goner. Boy - the power went to Jamal's head right quick! That little throwback performance Hakeem & Jamal did in honor of Lucious was cute. Speaking of which...is this the most we've heard from Lucious' back catalog? I love his album names-lol. Wait - did Lucious just have a Don Draper-like confession? And Mama Patti to take us on home! This show owns me so much it is sad.

It took me the entire commercial break to stop saying "No they didn't! No they DIDN'T!" I may have more coherent comments after the finale, but I cannot promise anything.

When Lucious walked in on Hakeem & Anika, I screamed "Oh shit oh shit oh shit" while backing away from my TV.

I was listening to the match on SiriusXM, and I was willing Arsenal to get that third goal. I have to think that by the law of averages, one of these round of 16 matches will end in their favor. Right? All day. Every day.

Watching Real Madrid against Levante today was nerve wracking. Every time they didn't finish a chance, I was cringing and/or yelling at my TV. The good news is that they played well in the first half (except for the whole not finishing chances thing). The second half was shaky, but at least they won.

It's been so long since I've followed college basketball. Yet for some reason I am getting into it again (I think Requiem for the Big East rekindled my love). I'm about to watch this Laettner 30 for 30, and I have to tell you, seeing him with gray hair makes me feel O-L-D.

This is one show that always has me riveted, and this episode was no different. Yay to seeing Jennifer again. The Cassie/Cole and Cole/Ramse scenes were just wonderful - poignant, heartbreaking. I kept waiting for Cassie to mention that Aaron had died some time between 2015 and 2017.

I am curious to see how NYCFC sharing Yankee Stadium with the Yanks is going to work out.

Aw, I still like Wes. Like all the characters, he changed a lot over the season. I don't think they'll be able to call him The Puppy anymore. Curious to see what happens when Wes finds out that Rebecca is dead and that Annalise knows about it. That is, assuming Wes didn't kill Rebecca himself. I know there's been speculation that Wes is the culprit, but I find that really hard to believe given how devoted he was to her.

"Tabula Rasa" is on now. This episode has always disturbed me. That father who kidnapped his daughters and changed his identity after his divorce is just...ugh! I was glad but the fact that his daughters wanted nothing to do with their biological mother at the end (because dear old dad had convinced them that she was evil) just makes me angry. I do love the massive amounts of side-eye Jack and Abbie give to that messed up family.

I like Vernon, but it may be my affection for Malik Yoba. At any rate, I want to see Vernon have more to do. I was so excited when he choked out Andre* because he was finally getting to do something other than mumble exposition. Well, *And no, I don't know what this says about me-lol

I love that this show is so successful, everyone in Hollywood wants some of its shine!

I forgot to mention one of the things I loved most about this episode: Hakeem: Camilla says we're this generation's Anthony and Cleopatra. Cookie: Chile...

That first look made me happy and sad. Happy because next week looks DE-LISH and sad because...just what am I going to do with my life with no Empire Wednesdays!

I am super happy that Chelsea lost to PSG - especially after all the ish Mourinho talked before the game. ETA: The team has really been missing Modric. I hope they can pull it together for the quarterfinal tie.

Wait - I totally forgot to mention Jamal's afro in the flashback! I loved it! Yes, but that Suzanne Vega sample made me feel ancient. I pumped a fist at both! Truly delicious, soapy dialogue!

ALS is going to have to get in line to kill Lucious. I absolutely loved the look of contempt Cookie gave Luciuos after Reg was shot. I'm going to have to re-watch this so I can see all the delicious 90s fashion and hair in those flashbacks.

I inferred that Wes created that for her since we saw earlier in the season that he was pretty adept at making fake IDs.

I found that interesting as well. The writers wouldn't have put those words into Malcolm's mouth if the Lucious-Cookie connection wasn't going to come into play again. And I agree with you, aprilbabe, that this likely won't end well for Malcolm.

I felt the same way about Rebecca when I re-watched the finale. I actually found it kind of ballsy that she tracked down that campus cop as a little insurance policy. And I get her mindset: she was used to fending for herself; she never really trusted any of the K4, except Wes - and even him she didn't trust enough to tell the whole truth of what happened with her the night Lila was murdered. I'll be curious to see how the Who Killed Rebecca story plays out in season 2. I'm guessing Katie Findlay will be back for flashbacks and such.

Ha! But seriously, I hope this changes in season 2. I've seen Alfie Enoch and Aja Naomi King doing promotional appearances for the show, and they're adorable and fun together. I hope the writers craft more opportunities for Wes and Michaela to interact next season. And overall, I hope that we learn more about Michaela and her background. She's become a far more intriguing character than I'd initially thought she would be.

This is an excellent point. So far, their interactions have been mostly about Michaela's resentment that a) Wes was so hellbent on protecting Rebecca, and b) the special treatment Wes gets from Annalise. I'd love to see more interaction between them.
