  1. She has to be in order for this plot to fly. Kind of like how Cyrus has to be an idiot in order for that prostitute mole plot to work on him. It's one of my lasting frustrations with this show. I could not bring myself to care about the case of the week. My friend actually texted me during the ep asking "who's the dead person?" I was glad Jake taunted Fitz about being on the island with Olivia. Fitz remains the worst.
  2. Not a bad follow-up to last week's intense episode. Still not feeling Laurel or Laurel/Frank, though I do get why they bond and eventually sleep together. Wes + Rebecca still = zzzzzzzzzz for me. Rebecca is an incredibly unappealing character. ETA: Interesting that Sam and Annalise got together via an affair. No wonder she's paranoid about him cheating.
  3. You, me and many others I'd bet!
  4. What's funny is I had just watched a Law & Order episode featuring Jeremy Davidson as an Italian mob scion. So, seeing him here as a Russian mobster with a thick Russian accent made me do a double take.
  5. The Law & Order Super Fan in me was geeking out at all the Repeat Offenders in this ep. David Zayas (Maroni), Jeremy Davidson (Nikolai), Danny Mastrogiorgio (Frankie, Maroni's right-hand man), Daniel London (Potolsky). And of course, John Doman (Falcone), who's been on pretty much every L&O series. But I digress. This was the first episode since the pilot that I outright enjoyed. I'm intrigued by Fish Mooney's plotting against Falcone. And Bruce's sleuthing is more on point than the GCPD!
  6. One of my favorite lines ever. Housekeeper candidate: "15 years I spent in that stinkin' hole [san Quentin]. I saw violence. I saw despair. I saw Johnny Cash 8 times." Dorothy: "Well, that concludes the interview, unless there are any other questions." Rose: "I have a question. Does Johnny cash ever wear plaid?" This sequence always makes me crack up uncontrollably.
  7. So, Abby's going to sign Ichabod up for some CPR classes next, right?
  8. I love the title of this thread! I don't yet ship anyone on this show, though I do admit that Connor's hookups have been HOT!
  9. Because, like all powerful business people, she likes cheap labor?
  10. The scene between Connor and Pax was even hotter on my rewatch. I don't get why Laurel is so keen to please Frank, especially with that hottie Khan interested in her.
  11. Fitz's rant at Mellie made me so angry. First of all, what country does he run? It ain't the USA. B613, Cyrus, et. al have that locked up. So is Fitz in charge of the country of his own man-pain? Can he please die in a fire. The Papa Pope vs. Jake War is the most intriguing plot of this young season.
  12. Not sure, but he does remind me of one of my favorite soccer players, Raphael Varane
  13. Does this mean Tom, the Secret Service agent, is going to die. I hope not. He's cute.
  14. I LOVED that. And I loved this episode. It finally felt like both of the main murder stories moved. I enjoyed seeing Connor get more to do. And we finally know where Asher was for at least part of bonfire night.
  15. I Will Destroy You Olivia is my favorite Olivia.
  16. Could Focus be the movie that makes me want to watch Will Smith again? Doubtful.
  17. I re-watched this episode (don't judge me), and my goodness Jason Gedrick was even hotter on second watch. I might have committed a crime or two for him!
  18. NutMeg, I will probably continue to watch because I adore Viola Davis, but I wouldn't put it in the must-watch category.
  19. Who will save Frank Irving's soul? Enjoyed this ep, but then the Pied Piper is one of my favorite stories. Missed Jenny - she'd have been perfect to assist in taking down the Piper. Ichabbie were all kinds of adorable tonight - particularly in that espresso scene. Next week looks super scary!
  20. I thought it was just me. I have not seen her facial expression change once in the first three episodes.
  21. Love Love LOVE this episode! Watching it now on ion. It’s truly one of my favorite episodes of television, hands down. Plus, it has Colm Meany, whom I heart from his time on Star Trek: The Next Generation. Not just you! It’s one of my fave things about the ep.
  22. Part I of the Landon Farewell Tour is over. I am glad he got his moment to say goodbye to the fans and for the fans to pay tribute to him.
  23. Has anyone else read the Harry Hole series by Norwegian writer Jo Nesbø? I'm reading my third book in this series (I've read them all out of order), and I really enjoy Nesbø's writing style. I also think he generally does a good job of crafting a mystery. I've not been disappointed by any of the payoffs in his books. As for the main character, Harry Hole, I find him to be an enjoyable - if not entirely likable - protagonist. It's not his sloppy appearance or alcoholism that put me off; it's the whole every-one-is-stupid-at-detective-work-except-me stuff that sometimes grates. But I do like Harry's sense of humor.
  24. The only question I have about making this into a movie is, how would they portray the Noise that the men hear?
