  1. So I went to Ulta tonight to use my 20% off coupon and came home with Butter Glazen eye gloss in frosted and Stila Magnificent Metal foil finish shadow. The latter has a little pan and its own primer with dropper. Edited to try it as I really wanted a metal shadow.
  2. Last time I went red I did it myself and ended up liking like a demented raspberry!
  3. Listen, I'm at work. I can't be crying in the breakroom!! (That was a really sweet commercial).
  4. Catching up on past episodes. I can understand how the average 20-30 year old man (or woman) regardless of color may not know Deep Throat in 2016. I don't but that Rufus didn't know about it. Or Mark Fell. That's what seems wonky to me. Personally, I like Wyatt. I like all the characters. I also like that they went the IMO much more realistic route that betrayal and keeping secrets would naturally create division and some side-eye amongst the gang of three. Betrayal = bonding my ass.
  5. I love Christmas Story (I watch it on the 24 hire stan in TBS) and those are and gorgeous eyes. But I can see how it wouldn't appeal to others. Different strokes. Personally I can't, and haven't been able to, sit through an entire It's A Wonderful Life. I like the idea of it, I like the idea ibn other forms. For some reason I associate with Mary Poppins, the Sounds of Music, and Julie Andrews, all of which I can't stand. Of course I also hold the UO that just because something is in black and white it doesn't mean it's better.
  6. I actually liked Grace and think Chanel 1 is hysterical. However Dean Munch and her constant awesomeness is getting a little old. Did Zayday leave her brain back in season 1? Why on earth does she go to the house of a woman she thinks is a killer and have tea with her?? What the absolute fuck?? Dumbass. Edited because typing on my phone sucks
  7. I never got the feeling that Haysbert's character was actual law enforcement, just the head of the company's security more or less. Spiga is handling all of this internally: their own armed security officers detained him on private property and just kept him. No going through and legal government entities like a police department or courts (do we know if those even exist anymore?). I'm surprised I liked this so much. I'm not really into scifi or dystopian plots, but this wasn't bad.
  8. That dad taught those boys a hell of a lot with those 4 words.
  9. Ehh, the friendsgiving didn't bother me. While I'm not the hipster demographic they may or may not be going for, as someone who is repeatedly reminded by many people in passive aggressive ways that spending it with my friends on the holiday every year isn't a "real thanksgiving", I appreciate it.
  10. My family's sweet potato casserole is rather sweet (truth be told I think I put a little too much sugar in it this year. Apparently I was the only one who thought so) and with a marshmallow top (when you put them on there you shouldn't see the casserole). A friend called it candy one year. He also ate half of it. I had another friend peel off her marshmallow and pecan topping and wolf it down. And there's plenty of wine to go with it! Trust !! That's a priority in my house. I'm a pretty big sweet person but other than pumpkin pie there isn't a whole lot of traditional thanksgiving desserts I like. I prefer cake batter.
  11. Lol, Qoass, I only like the canned jelly kind. I had so many different versions of homemade, including homemade jellied, but give me that can and that satisfying plop when the suction breaks any day! My holiday tradition is my great grandmothers sweet potato casserole. It's requested if I have people over or if I go to someone's house. Last thing, I never knew green bean casserole was a thing, much less a holiday dish, until I was in my late twenties. and I grew up in the south (apparently my family didn't get the memo).
  12. I like holiday episodes too. They're just fun. On another subject, I'm always constantly behind on The Middle, but I did catch part of the Thanksgiving episode (where Frankie acted like a psycho) and the Halloween episode, the latter reminding me of an UO - I like Frankie. And I think her kids are in general, little assholes. Second, when did the idea of "quirky/eccentric" old people being the go=to for the funny in sitcoms become a thing? TV Land runs Everybody Loves Raymond and King of Queens back to back in the late evening. Between Marie Barone and Arthur Spooner I've had my fill. One can be quirky and eccentric and not be a mean-spirited, bitter and/or selfish person.
  13. I'm a Jefferson girl. Steve typically irritated me and I liked Marcie better in the later seasons. I also liked how Al and Jefferson got along and the (sometime) backstory of Jefferson not being just a stupid pretty boy.
  14. I love Homicide: Life on the street -the first four seasons are truly my favorite episodes if television ever (beating out the first five (And five got lucky) off West Wing and any seasons if Married with Children and Sunny in Philly. However Dexter for Florida?? I'm not saying that miami beaches an d disney aren't great things I My state but it does have almost 65,800 square miles. +22 million people, , my county has 333'000+ residents and is 1,700 square miles .Florida isn't comprised of only Miami and disney. I just wish we had more filmed in the other areas!
  15. I liked this one, though I'm trying not to be pessimistic about Kensi's new therapy friend - tickle fjords he would be the potential spoiler for the couple, but they haven't done that here as of yet so maybe he'll just stay friends. I also liked that Sam and Callen bentonite going to the hospital and seeing her. It seemed really weird that we hadn't seen that or that they even had visited her. Glad the math guy didn't die and the kid was cute. It was also pretty cute Deeks posing as Nell's eaten philosophy loving boyfriend.
  16. CBS also greenlit the spin-off Criminal Minds: Suspect Behavior with Forest Whitaker. It wasn't very good, got shitty ratings, and got cancelled, but it did get made.
  17. I like chocolate, though I'm more of a cake person. I really don't like milk chocolate, I had some friends bring me back some very nice Belgian and swiss chocolates when they were over there last year - I felt so bad as I really didn't like them. Event eh dark was too milky. My preference is probably Godiva dark. See's and this truffle shop out of CA; though weirdly I also like Hershey's Special Dark even though it is a little sweet. I'm really picky about what my chocolate is mixed with: no coffee, no fruit bits (though fruit creme is okay); nuts are okay, caramel is okay, nougat is okay, but not mixed. And no jelly.
  18. So on a recent episode of Criminal Minds the team were in Florida and identified a vehicle by reading the license number on the front of the car and running a check. Florida doesn't have front plates. Took me completely out of the show.
  19. For something I initially watched as an afterthought this show has quickly become one of my favorites. Everyone is fantastic, I don't think there's one character I dislike or is irritating. Adam Scott, never seen him before I don't think, is hysterical. Someone said this seems like a completely new idea - I agree. While I actually don't mind retreads I'm shocked that this is so unfamiliar. Maybe because they really try to develop each character individually and not just as a prop to serve the fake-Eleanor (that name is to great to lose). I can;t believe we have to wait till January!!
  20. So I caught about ten minutes of Grey's Anatomy tonight and it reminded me of a highly unpopular opinion I have (well two) about a show I didn't watch a large amount of: 1. I never liked Christina. I liked the idea of Christina, but the actual execution? Nope (off course I did like her more than Meredith, but that's not really that high of a bar); 2. Izzie was my favorite. Once she was gone, I was gone. Even Alex couldn't keep me there. (I also still like Katherine Hiegl).
  21. Holy crap Mama Deeks is irritating. I can see why he puts distance between them.
  22. I'm in the minority as I like Chanel. She, Chad and Denise are my faves, and I'm a little posed that both Chad and Denise are dead (or are they??), but props to Ryan Murphy for taking out two pretty significant characters back to back. And he can take Hester out anytime. I really can't stand her or her asinine "crazy" laugh.
  23. I saw the first episode of Timeless. It was intriguing, and I like the cast. I do like how they're not just ignoring the race issue (the first episode was about the Hindenburg disaster, so you're looking at late 30's) although it came across as a little cavalier by the main female protagonist (the time travelers are white female historian, white male soldier, black male scientist/tech guy). It was like she sympathized with the guy it's not a great situation for him and then turns around and was all "Oohh history. Pretty." Kinda irritated me. It is a pilot though, and I do want to give a little room to feel their way into some of this.
  24. I really want to try the nirvana rose. I really like rose. Ugh, do I really need more perfumes!!
