  1. Miss Dee, I've had a really crappy Christmas and that made me laugh hysterically. I'm sorry for your gravy mishaps, but thanks for the story!
  2. Currently wearing my favorite nail colorespecially for holidays. It's but Butter - Knees's Up. It is this great pure, bright red cut with this metallic sheen in it. And butter is a pretty nice brand and easy on my nails.
  3. I'll deviate and say I hated this ending, mostly due to the fact that Heater was probably my least favorite character (excluding Pete, the only one I was actively rooting for to die. Violently). Yeah -not going to kill again, don't hold your breath on that one I was impressed that at least they addressed the really shitty trial. The idea that a defense attorney would do a deal check or easily break any of Hesters evidence is inconceivable, but no defense attorney... At least Grace add Zayday continued their tradition of being dumber than a plant. I did love that the Chanel's actually liked the asylum.
  4. I think one of the more interesting scenes was Earmuff Chanel was not wearing earmuffs when they show the first time Grace came to Kappa.
  5. Cover girl foundation on classic ivory - 25 years in still using it. Bars blush in orgasm. My friend got it for me for my birthday and I LOVE it. Estee Lauder Idealist is a great product I only but when I see it at TJ Maxx on sale, but it's fantastic. I have yet to find a mascara that's my goto.
  6. In really picky at the holidays (not at all the rest of the year). I must have the food of my childhood. Regardless that the rest of the year my grandma cooked from scratch, at Thanksgiving it was turkey, Ocean Spray jellied cranberry sauce e, Stouffers turkey stuffing, my great grandmother's sweet potato casserole, and pumpkin pie. The green vegetable varied.
  7. Chrisley Knows Best. I know it's 4 seasons in, but I really didn't think I would like it. I REALLY didn't think I would like the actual family. Beyond being hysterical, they seem like a rather nice, loving family.
  8. "Some freaky shit happens in Pennsylvania" - running state-by-state background check on Savannah;s friend. This show is gold!
  9. I liked it filler character and all (even though the name Feather for a grown ass woman just irritates me too no end). Amazingly, I wasn't annoyed , except for the Pete scenes (I like Grace - I think it's the hair. I also appreciate the straight/boring characters) although no Denise and hardly any Chad Radwell is not anything that should be repeated.
  10. Like/Love: Angel and Cordelia are probably one of my favorite couples of all time. Weirdly, I didn't mind the Buffy/Angel couplehood, even though Charisma Carpenter and David Boreanz had hella chemistry from the jump. Dawson and Joey. Yes, I know, I'm alone. I hated Pacey. HATED!! Pretty much every couple on Modern Family, especially Jay/Gloria and Phil/Claire. Cam and Mitchell a little less so (Cam gets on my nerves).
  11. I think that most shows that are considered "past their prime" are still pretty good. Now naturally, I don't watch all shows, but the ones I can think of: The Simpsons, Modern Family, Criminal Minds are all still pretty good to me. Also, and not really related, I can't stand Sue Heck on The Middle. And I like Frankie (and Patricia Heaton).
  12. I would totally eat a gray cake if it was blackberry! I love blackberry anything. Hell, I'd probably even eat it if it was blue (I don't eat blue food - yes, it's weird). My kitchen disaster didn't taste weird, but I certainly made it wrong. My mom's favorite cake was pineapple upside down cake. Well I decided to make it for her one year for her birthday, sans instructions (I'm a pretty good baker). Well, I didn't know that you put the pineapple and cherries in the pan, then poured the batter on top. Instead, my dumb ass puts the batter and proceeds to place the fruit, ever so lightly (because it kept sinking!) on top of the batter. After a couple of tries, with battery fingers to prove it, I got it in the oven. Then I pulled it out to find no fruit - it had, predictably, settled into the center of the cake. My family laughed so hard that they started choking.
  13. Yeah, Blunt's character kinda annoyed me too. Not in that she was naive, or idealistic, or that she needed saving; it was that she was just so dumb in certain scenes. Example: you've just come back out of a smuggling tunnel, been shot at by someone on your team and have had almost 0% respect from the others, you're bing held down and popped in the eye from team leader and your partner/friend/only person you trust has a gun to his head by a Delta member and after your finally told what's going on (which really didn't seem that complicated to me), your response is "I'm going to tell everyone". Really? All throughout the movie she just made stupid responses like that. You're not picking up on a vibe from your colleagues, chick? They don't seem the type you should interrogate like a suspect.
  14. WeindishFitch and Meep.Meep (love the name BTW), completely agree. Mayim Bialck and Jim Parsons actually make me not want to watch the show but the others outweigh them (I actually considered dropping it from DVR when Amy became a main character). But that's what makes it great, there's something for everyone. To me that's a balanced show.
  15. Hell, I enjoyed it. At least I can tell the leads apart (as opposed to Blood & Oil, where 20-something brunette, scruffy male lead #1 looks like 20 something brunette, scruffy male lead #2). And none of the characters outright irritate me. I must be a complete dumb-ass, because I didn't catch the twin thing. Odd. Interesting. I kinda liked the Mormon guy - oh well.
  16. She can't e I don't think. Didn't she come in to the bathroom with JLC (I think her hair was shoulder length) after they discovered the girl was dead?
  17. That was hysterical. Exactly what I thought it would be and more. And I loved the ending scene with Boone and Chad cracks me up. When Boone got into bed with (of course Chad will let Boone share the bed, cause he's his little bro - just lay off the weiner) and then showed him the froggy...OMG. The only thing that irritated me was I kept waiting for Grace or Zayday tell the Chane's to fuck themselves with the hazing. If you pledge you're in. Driving over a girls head with a riding lawn mower is seriously fucked up, though!
  18. I grew up with a convection oven, I remember my grandmother using it for everything!! I also remember never having any problem operating it, but I guess it didn't stick, because when I got my new oven I purposely got one with convection. In 5 years I haven't used it once.
  19. Weirdly enough I got my doc martens in a kid size (I'm a 6.5 in womens) and they fit perfect. They were cheaper too!
  20. I am 39 (not particularly young) and I wear nude house almost everyday. If I'm not wearing a pant suit I'm wearing hose. I would think the skirt, shell, sweater would work.
  21. I have both brands. Doc Martens will last longer, Madden's are cuter (and I think cheaper - I've had my Docs for a long time).
  22. My top three are my rice cooker (normal thing) and two little basic gadgets, a cheese slicer from probably the 50s or 60s (it'll slice a block of cheese at time same time) and this hand held thing from pampered chef to help break up ground beef as its frying.
