It was nice to see that the reaction to Howard and Bernie having another baby wasn't that everything was awesome but that having two babies close together like that is really, really hard. Even though they managed to be funny about it I thought it was a very true-to-life reaction. And I love that Leonard and Penny mutually forgot their anniversary. For that matter, what would they consider to be their anniversary? Given the numbers of break-ups and make-ups along with the fact that they held two different wedding ceremonies they have several dates to choose from.

In all fairness, Hilly had already put her mother in the home when that incident occurred. If my kid tossed me in a home like that, I would probably laugh at them under those circumstances too.

Aside from the lotto win, the other things that will have to be revisited is Jackie being a lesbian vs Bev along with the baby that Leon and Scott were going to adopt.

Yes. Harris was born very premature early and it was quite uncertain whether or not she'd survive. Darlene was very shaken by the experience and in the finale discussed with Roseanne staying home for a while until she was more settled with the baby. Of all the reasons for Darlene to want to stay and Lanford, that seemed pretty dang good one.

I'm thinking the Revival is perhaps set maybe around 2010 to 2012. The article reference Harris as being a teenage daughter. She was born in 1997 and if we are sticking with current-day, that would make her 20 years old and most likely not being dragged back to Landford from Chicago. Taking about five years off the timeline puts her at 15, which makes more sense. And also makes watching Darlene parent a teenager much more enjoyable and entertaining.

I think I finally figured out why the midwives seemed so opposed/bothered by Marnie's adoption plans, versus the unmarried mothers they work with all the time. Marnie is married. Even though her husband has run off she is still a married woman and considered 'respectable'. There was no immoral activitiy involved in the conception and therefore it's a great tragedy that she's giving up her child. She's considered a fit mother, even though there is no father in picture. The unmarried mothers on the othe rhand are considered to have been 'naughty' and the only way to redeem the mistake they've made (premartial sex) is to give up their children for adoption. The nuns/nurses might be compassionate and kind but in the end if the father won't marry the pregnant woman, then it's off to the unwed mother's home. Use the side door for your check ups and keep it all a big secrect, even if half the women on your street were pregnant at their own weddings. It's the Way Things Are. Marnie's situation doesn't line up with this, which causes the mental discordance.

Given that both Roseanne and Jackie were owners of the diner, it was probably easier for them to rearrange schedules for child care. For example if Roseanne works the later shifts of the day she could care for Jerry in the morning until Becky or DJ or David was available to do so in the afternoon and evening hours. Jackie could probably do something similar around a daycare or preschool schedule for Andy, not to mention he was presumably being cared for by Fred under a custody arrangement at least half the time.

Very true. They could go in the direction of Trixie having to get married and giving up her career which would also be an interesting direction to take her but would be harder to keep her within the orbit of Nonnatus house. The reason I was leaning towards the dentist not marrying her is because I have the impression that his first marriage was this exact situation and that he wouldn't want to get into it again. Ultimately I don't think they would write it in simply because those are the only two options: that either Trixie has to get married and stopped working or has to go to the unwed mothers home. It's 1962, we are not going to see her as some revolutionary single mother who continues to work full-time as a midwife. At least not in London. If she moved to the other end of the country she might be able to pass herself as a widow.

I think that Sister Juilenne would be okay with Trixie going away to have the baby and returning but there's no way she would let her work while visibly pregnant and unmarried. Even if she was personally okay with it, she would most likely be overruled by the person in charge of the Mother House and there is no way the community would accept Trixie as an unwed mother.

I'd actually like to see them write Trixie as pregnant. The Midwives are usually the ones who are fixing the problems of the community and I think it'd be really interesting to see one of them dealing with an unplanned pregnancy from the side of the patient rather than the healthcare provider. Particularly if the dentist she was dating, who would presumably be the father, did not marry her. Given the time her only real option would be to give the child for adoption and I think that would be very interesting to see portrayed as more than a one-off patient storyline.

What I'm wondering is if they are going to pick up in the present day or maybe set it a little bit in the past by maybe 5 to 10 years. I'm almost hoping it's maybe set mid 2000s, simply because I feel it's a shame to completely miss out on seeing Darlene raising her own daughter. Harris will be pretty much fully grown if it is set in present day.

Joey Lawrence played a real psycho on CSI:NY in the 3rd season. He plays evil very well.

That's really disappointing. And frankly is enough to keep me from watching.

I absolutely believe it was Wanda's mind meddling that put Tony over the edge and into creating Ultron. Tony's been creating tech and working various AI's for quite sometime and he's never had something go that spectacularly wrong before. I truly believe her influence clouded his thinking and influenced the outcome. As far as messing with alien tech goes, no one had any issue with it when Tony *asked* Thor if he could give it 'the once over' before it goes back to Asgard. All of them had seen that scepter in action before and none of them felt it was dangerous enough that it should be taken off planet right away. Ultimately I keep coming down on Team Stark (even though I don't *like* Tony that much) for the very simple reason that Tony has been doing his best to do the right thing since the original Iron Man. He got an up-close-and-personal lesson on the mistakes he was making and he's been focusing his whole ever since on making up for that. Moving away from weapons development, building the suit not just to escape to but to take down bad guys (when under no obligation to do so), putting together philanthropic foundations to deal with the damage cause and doing his damndest to keep that damage from happening again. He's bankrolling the Avengers without a second thought, shielded Maria Hill (pardon the pun) when SHIELD fell, trying to act as a mentor to Peter Parker (he needs to work on his communication skills but he's trying!) and he also recognizes that the Avengers can't just be come a vigilante group. With a raging case of PTSD and severe daddy issues to boot. And for his trouble Cap still writes him off irresponsible playboy with no morals or character. At this point I think that says more about Cap that it does about Tony.

And neither of them seems to recognize that the other is suffering. Steve is hell-bent on seeing Tony as irresponsible and Tony still hasn't forgiven Steve for being Howard's favorite.

I don't think the vulgarity is to be funny. I think it's truly to underscore the point of how he feels about 45. Isn't this situation the textbook case of appropriate use of vulgarity?

She did have all that cash that Cal had stuffed into the coat back in his stateroom. He even commented later about putting the coat on Rose and that the diamond was still in one of the pockets, along with presumably all that cash.

On a darker note, what if the aliens have been experimenting on Bruce? Like if they wanted to get the Hulk to be bigger and badder in the arena or they wanted to exert more control. Who knows what alien technology could have done to him and would account for the change and how the Hulk looks.
