  1. I do like this try out method that they use. They have the perfect setting to explain why people come and go and it's a great way to test out new characters without having to commit for a full season.
  2. Decent episode. I didn't really care about the crime although it was nice to see a direct involvement with the Navy this time. I'm curious as to what's going to happen with Mosley's plan to break up the team. H2 clearly seems to think that plan now needs to change, as she's seen them in action and breaking them up would be a mistake. But at the same time I do agre with Mosley about maybe not resorting to 'shoot-em up' quite so often and that killing all the bad guys can make follow-up *much* more difficult. I think it would have been more effective though if she'd approached the conversation from a 'let's see what can be done to change this and why I think that needs to happen' perspective. And she needs to acknowledge that when The Team is being actively shot at, they are going to shoot back.

    The Star Wars Saga

Not to mention the fact that now that Disney owns Marvel as well they don't want Their own Blockbusters competing with each other. And Infinity Wars is already slated for next May. I think we'll probably see Star Wars releases remain in December while Marvel gets the early summer slots
  4. I also feel like they are missing Nick Fury, Maria Hill and Scott Lang.
  5. That is what I would assume. Katherine Avery strikes me as the kind of grandmother who has a whole nursery set up for her grandchild in her own home. And who won't pass up a moment to get her hands on her grandbaby.
  6. I thought the home lives described were very true to life. There were good moments and there were bad moments. And those bad moments were pretty bad. It took a long time for both Roseanne and Jackie to come to terms with it. I don't see that is a continuity problem, I see Roseanne and later Jackie later recognizing what really happened to them in their childhood.
  7. That was 1/4 of a billion. $250,000,000
  8. Nathan definitely won the good guy award tonight.
  9. Raj and Stuart were both gross and I kind of appreciated that none of their friends thought their behavior was appropriate and were pretty upfront that they were being skanky.
  10. Bernadette is way too far along for a June baby. I think Wolowitz child should be arriving around maybe February.
  11. Sheldon is just trying so hard isn't he? He really really tried with the flip flops and boy did it backfire on him. And instead of taking that as an example of why he should stop trying, instead he took a huge leap and turned the wedding plans over to Amy. That kind of growth from Sheldon would have been unimaginable even a couple of seasons ago. It's been so much fun to watch him evolve and yet still remain recognizably Sheldon. And if Amy gives him any crap about the Star Trek uniform under his tux, then she doesn't deserve him. That one sentence illustrated his understanding that while he thinks a Star Trek uniform is appropriate he recognizes that nobody else will and is making a compromise.
  12. Alex absolutely did not deserve Izzy. He did not deserve her derision, her drama and her overall inability to see past the end of our own nose. And that was before she got sick. Alex might be rough around the edges and have his own issues but he's ultimately a good, loyal, kind and supportive person. Aside from the whole beating up DeLuca thing which I'm not touching with a ten-foot pole.
  13. It's not quite the same situation. Bellisario got canned because it was about to be a mutiny on the set of NCIS due to the very long hours and constant script rewriting. Apparently things have been much more chill over there ever since. Shonda on the other hand apparently runs tight ships on her sets to begin with and keeps churning out hit after hit. ABC has no reason to fire her just because of one storyline that wasn't popular with part of the audience.
  14. I'm really surprised that they didn't kill Izzy off screen by now. The actress is definitely not coming back and given the aggressive cancer that the character was dealing with, it would make a lot of sense for someone to contact Alex or Meredith and tell them that she had died.
  15. Love this! And really can't wait to see the full photo shoot.
  16. Yes technically Bishop has been there for a few years now. However the show is heading into its 15th season and she only got there during the 11th. So it still feels like she is fairly new.
  17. With long-running shows like this it seems to be that you either have to turn the cast over on a fairly regular basis, like er did or you have to be committed to keeping pretty much the same cast the whole time. Like someone referenced up above it's very difficult to bring in new people towards the very end and expect to get the same connections that have been so enjoyable with the old crew. The divide is too deep.
  18. I thought the same thing since her first episode. My theory has always been that the abuse her husband put them through left her with some mental issues. Not enough to keep her from functioning but enough to make her more than a handful for Deeks. He's probably been the parent in the relationship for a long time now.
  19. Alright I'm sorry @GHScorpiosRule
  20. I've always thought that the Freeform channel could do a great series with The Face on the Milk Carton books. It seems perfectly suited for them. And I've always thought the books would make a great TV series. Not a movie though, there's far too much to include.
  21. I agree. It's been 15 seasons. Tons of major cast turnover in the last couple of seasons rather than slowly and steadily over the years. They've had a fantastic run considering they were a spin-off of a show hardly anyone remembers and they've generated two successful spin-offs of their own. Make the decision now so that they can have a really great last season that is well planned. But it is time to Let It Go.
  22. Especially since her previous pregnancy ended in a miscarriage.
  23. Anyone want to start a betting pool on how they kill her off? We all know that women don't get off the show alive. And Abby has made it very clear in the past that you will pry that lab from her cold dead fingers.
  24. I do like that the whole conversation passed the Bechdel test and made it clear that the hiding was *not* a good thing.
