  1. I took Mosleys comment as a way of underscoring the severity of the situation. That the person who has been trying to get them to dial back on the kill count is now urging them to take these people out means that if we don't do this the world is going to end.
  2. The political implications were that the nukes were being targeted to muslim-majority cities and countries. As one of the conspirators so disgustingly put it, 'end the Muslim problem'.
  3. I think they were hoping to use the grenade to disorient both of the rogue officers. And it was easier to deal with both of them at once using a grenade. Kensi is a great shot but all it would take is one of them managing to get a shot at her. She had no cover at all until she got out of that tunnel. Which is when she discovered that the officers were both dead.
  4. I don't think Deeks was suggesting that Kensi quit. When it's come up before he's always been the one to volunteer to leave. I think they are both just recognizing that either they stay together and keep the jobs that they love and are good at and therefore have to live with the terror of losing each other at anytime, or one of them has to leave. They love each other too much to break up and I can't really see that happening now. But each of them also has a very strong sense of duty and won't easily be able to leave their jobs. Particularly because those jobs legitimately involve stopping horrible things from happening. I was actually pretty pleased to see Deeks reference what happened to Michelle in the context of losing Kensi. This is three times now when he's been faced with losing her, of course it's probably getting to him.
  5. If they break up, my head might explode. I have always appreciated that this show doesn't play will they, won't they. Please don't start now.
  6. I'm assuming Sophia's reaction is simply that of a 7 year old who just flew cross-country and is presumably missing her mother. Yes her other mother is right in front of her but that doesn't mean she doesn't miss her other parent. She's in a place she hasn't lived in for a year and is a bit discombobulated. I don't think anything happened to Callie, that was simply Arizona sympathizing with her daughter that she understands that she misses her mom.
  7. I feel pretty bad for Howard. He's getting run ragged seeing that Bernadette is cared for, Halley is cared for and holding down his job. I'm going to forgive him if he vents slightly to his friends.
  8. I admit that we have seen Penny be far more supportive in the past to the guys, especially Sheldon. But I also buy that she's kind of over it at this point. Sheldon's distain for Geology is well-known and if he wants to choose to work on it then that is up to him. Penny only has so much energy to keep managing (for lack of a better word )Sheldon.
  9. The more I watch this, the more I realize that Diane speaks very similarly to Dre. Very blunt, doesn't really seem to care about people's feelings and at least gives the appearance of insensitivity. Admittedly they are usually addressing different topics which is why it took me awhile to catch on. I see a lot of Dre's influence in his younger daughter. Not to say that it's appropriate. If I was Bow I would have divorced Dre long ago both for the way he speaks to her and the way he speaks to Junior.
  10. Definitely one of their better episodes. I really appreciate that neither Dre nor Jack or Junior has any issues whatsoever with periods being mentioned. It's really refreshing from the usual media representation of guys cringing and acting as though it is the worst topic ever
  11. Great episode tonight! Love the opening scene between Kensi and Nell. Passed the Bechdel Test with flying colors! It was nice to see some of Deek's reasoning behind why he remains an LAPD liason, rather than becoming an agent like the rest of them. And it was nice to see both Bates and Whiting acknowledging that he is a good cop. Not to mention Kensi, Callen, et al juming into help no questions asked.
  12. Thor will probably be very annoyed about that. Particularly if there is any discussion about locking Banner up due to the danger from the Hulk. Thor will not take kindly to someone trying to imprison his battle buddy.
  13. I actually think it's kind of brilliant that Howard and Bernadette are generally in their own story. Because that's exactly what happens in a group like this to the first couple that has kids. Kids change everything. Personally I think we see more of them with the group then we ought to.
  14. There's really no reason to wait. In fact it's better to do it now while Bernie is still pregnant and therefore can't get more pregnant, then wait until after she gives birth and potentially risk an oopsy. I was seriously annoyed with how Penny was being treated. She clearly stopped by because she was concerned about her friends and wanted to see if they needed any help. Treating her like an imbecile was just absolutely awful. Unless Halley has medical issues that were not aware of, caring for her for the afternoon *while her parents are still in the house* was not going to be that difficult. If she's hungry, feed her. If her diaper is dirty, then change it. Howard or Bernie can easily fill her in on the baby schedule to make sure she goes down for her naps and whatnot. And what was going to inherently make a me a better caretaker anyway? I do buy Howard being very sore, as it appeared to be the same day as his surgery. And as soon as Halley started crying he was getting out of bed it should go get her. Penny just offered to deal with it instead.
  15. I just got back from seeing this tonight. I'm sure I'll have more thoughts tomorrow. Hela just took center stage as best villain for the MCU, at least until we see Killmonger in February. Cate Blanchett was perfect casting. I felt bad for Hulk in a way. In his time on Saakar he was happy. The big green rage monster was totally accepted, had a nice apartment, people who were impressed with his abilities, heck practically a cult following. He was at peace with being Hulk and didn't want to revert to Banner. I'm actually glad Banner didn't really remember it. I think he'd be sad to know what he'd lost. Love the small shout-outs to the previous movies. The Quinn Jet Hulk was last seen in. Natasha's message playing. That Bruce had to wear Tony's clothes left aboard. New Yorkers wanting selfies with Thor (they haven't forgotten him). Even that Thor's voice activation for the Quinn Jet was Point Break. And the lullaby!!!! Of course Thor's going to think to try it. Valkerie was awesome and she need meet Gamora and Nebula like, tomorrow. They're going to get along so, so well. Heimdall continues to be all the awesome.
  16. I think it'd be pretty interesting if Matthew Morrison (can't remember character name) was being brought in as a patient. Now putting Jo in the incredibly wretched position of a either bowing out of his care and having to explain why or finally dealing with him.
  17. @Samantha84 you're back! I haven't seen you on here in months. Where've you been? Decent episode tonight. Nice to see OverWatch spray making its return. I've always felt like they don't utilize that enough. In fact I'm surprised they don't tag themselves when they are going undercover. It would make it much much easier to keep an eye on each other in scenarios where com's or cell phones wouldn't be appropriate.
  18. They're referring to the young woman she is sitting with.
  19. @Katy M I think it's because Raj tends to strong-arm them into participating and that these aren't things they are particularly interested in.
  20. So I'm watching Avengers for approximately the 1000th time it occurs to me that with all the damage the Chitauri army has caused, did Asgard ever offer reparations? After all it was Loki who brought them there. And Odin seems like the kind of King who would be taking responsibility and trying to make things right.
  21. I think that's going to be my favorite part of Infinity Wars, just seeing these different groups meeting each other and interacting for the first time. I'm not sure who's going to try to kill Rocket first, Cap or Natasha.
  22. I took a closer look at this picture and you can see in the rows of people near the fireplace that Johnny Galecki is there wearing glasses and the hairstyle of Leonard from Big Bang Theory. I wonder if the two soundstages are close by to each other. If they are, it might make it easier for him to appear even though Big Bang is currently in production.
  23. Yeah but if you are homegrown HYDRA infiltrator, what is going to show up on your background check?
  24. They all look so happy and I love it. I bet it was a major flashback to actually walk back onto that set for everybody.
  25. I guess that answers the question about if the lotto win still exists. That is clearly the unaltered original design, not the made over living room from the last season.
