  1. Had to! All those folks were saying how wonderful it is and how Drew and Gina were a perfect couple! 🤮 Where did they come from? Maybe Middleditch's "Swingin' Lifestyle" pals?
  2. She was an American writer in the early to mid-1900s. Lesbian, lived in Paris with her partner Alice B. Toklas (she of the original pot brownies recipe), collected art and held salons. Part of the "Charmed Circle" that included Picasso, Hemingway, Apollinaire (a personal fav), among many others of note. Fairly eccentric. That's the short story. The idea a USN frigate would be named after an expatriate literary lesbian is where the humor comes in. It's highly unlikely!!
  3. I posted an interview with Lorre in media section. Pretty rough spoilers for S3. (UGH!) I doubt it gets renewed, but it's Lorre, CBS loves him, and ya never know. So everyone decided to stay with Gina even though she can't run the place properly, the residents aren't going to get the proper care they deserve, and most of the help is on drugs 24/7. Sounds like the Assisted Living places I rejected for my mom. (I did get her into a good place, but it was difficult to find since not rich.)
  4. Interview with Chuck Lorre. He fully intends to pair Drew and Gina in a 3rd season, if renewed. UGH! I certainly won't be watching: https://tvline.com/2022/03/10/b-positive-season-3-drew-leaving-alaska-renewed-cancelled-cbs/
  5. "Negan Can F**k Himself" They can switch back and forth between reality and fantasy... Annie Murphy can play Lucille, in both forms.
  6. Kill me now (again) and let me come back as a walker so I can bite both of 'em. The more I think about this, the worse it gets. I guess Maggie will leave Little Herschel with Jerry since he's really good with kids. They all leave their kids behind, but not to run off with their mortal enemy. **sigh** Worst idea for a TWD spin-off EVER!
  7. Oh hells no! Maggie + Negan in NYC spinoff greenlit: https://www.tvinsider.com/1035123/the-walking-dead-spinoff-isle-of-the-dead-amc/ Kill me now.
  8. That was its mouth. Their "poop nozzle" is on the side.
  9. Well, that was that. Don't let the door hit ya, Drew! Hey, I want to move there, too. I see a mass exodus. Wow, Gina finally realizes you actually need some skills to run a retirement home, or anything else. Too bad she's down to one kidney and she gave the other to a jackass. Guess next week is the SERIES finale since I don't see this being renewed anytime soon.
  10. RIP 42: 🐙🧈🍴😢 I'm loving Harry and Asta in NYC! ISO Banksy Goliath! Any bets Goliath is Violinda the gallery owner? Or is she an Asta, i.e., Alien Companion? Hmmm. Wish it was next Wednesday. Dammit Harry, share your pie for once! Sheriff and Liv FTW. So amazing.
  11. Great to know. I don't get HBO, but I'll put it on the "Freeview Week" list. Thanks!
  12. Sure, but Young Sheldon at 8pm has the highest ratings, Ghosts is second. US of Al is pretty low, but B Pos ticks in a little lower. The week after, they are giving B Pos the Ghosts slot at 9 after Al and moving Ghosts to 9:30. WTF? Tricksy. Guess they think Ghosts is ever so super popular because it's on at 9 and not because it's superior in everything except a Tony-winning B'way actress singing the open? Then we head into March Madness and re-runs or pre-empts. Sheesh.
  13. FYI: Time change swap with United States of Al and B Positive. B Pos will be on at 8:30 after Young Sheldon and US of Al will be in B Pos spot at 9:30 after Ghosts. Trolling for better ratings?
  14. Even though I think they should ditch Middleditch, this is painful to watch. Hey, if a spontaneous wild-type woman says "I need more time" she just ain't into you that way at all. It's a complete friend zone. Give it up! Just get in the RV and go.
  15. Interview with Ming-Na about working on Young Sheldon. It's a one-off episode specific, so posting here: https://www.tvinsider.com/1030940/young-sheldon-ming-na-wen-dr-lee/
  16. Well, that ended well! I didn't care which one won since I like them both. Probably one of the better finales, if not the best. I was so glad Ann didn't pick blondie to represent her.
  17. Martha Kelly! From Baskets is Barb. Although she seems to be typecast, that's her shtick. Glad to see she has work.
  18. And stay gone! Shoulda killed him, Maggie, when you had a good chance.
  19. The robe is called a peignoir and the nightie is a negligee. They usually come as a set, but are fairly passe. My mom had a few back in the day. I never cared for 'em. Too fussy, too scratchy (nylon or another synthetic). For the times, the color was probably dark aqua or turquoise. I'd call it teal these days. Also, IIRC, they rarely came with a belt, I think that was added to show off her shape.
  20. Season Finale and 100th Episode. Agree, Sid looks really rough. Not a good look for him at all. Fr Brown had a nothing cameo on Sr Boniface. I thought he looked TERRIBLE and was a bit worried until I realized he was supposed to be 10-15 years older. Boniface takes place in the 1960s!
  21. I'm just happy about "the one that moved on." Oh, keep it so!!!!
  22. I went for that deal, too. TWD one week early and no commercials is worth that price. Plus, I get to rewatch all of Orphan Black and Rectify without commercials. Given the lack of content, though, I doubt I'll renew in a year.
