Im glad to see these two crazy kids back together! This is the most Right Reasons i’ve felt in Bachelor History with all of these happy couples. To balance it out...what did Nicole and Clay just not show up?!? I need my schadenfreude moment!

She's based in LA but I don't think that's a permanent home.  Originally from Florida but has ties to Baton Rouge/New Orleans.

As for her complaints, they barely know each other.   This was filmed a few weeks after Paradise, so they have been together two-ish months.

It seems like Katie overanalyzes everything and Chris underanalyzes.  Not a good fit.  Part of it might be the age gap.  I was a mega-questioner in my 20s.  Now am at the age where I can say at the end of the day "I didn't kill him.  We're good."

She didn’t just take it off.  She gave it back to the show.    

Chris may not be communicative, but that was not the way to get him to be more open.   They are toast.

Wow.

They are indignant and horrified because they are not "sluts" for enjoying sex and sleeping with men they find attractive when they are single.  Men are not called sluts for doing the same and therefore women should not be called sluts. Being against slut shaming is pointing out that women are subject to standards that men are not and it is NOT right.  

The point is that neither you nor anyone else has the right to shame a woman for having sex when she is single (or in any other type of committed relationship where open sex is agreed upon).

No one should be engaged to someone when she describes the relationship as feeling the most insecure she’s ever felt in her life. But this going on and on about her “Love tank” (while giving me Vicki from RHOC flashbacks) is exhausting. He’s saying he loves you. I’m not sure what Katie wants. I guess she’s a “verbal affirmations love language” person, but she also seems to be angry that he wasn’t gushing about being in love from day 1 on camera? She’s upset that it took a month for him to fall in love?!? He did give her the most romantic proposal of the group so she “won” that over the others. She didn’t have her ring in the alley, so was that filmed somewhere in the middle and they did make up on set? Did she throw the ring in the dumpster because he wasn’t effusive enough? If constant validation is a need of hers, then I guess they aren’t well suited.

In the past it was a derogatory term.  I believe in recent years it has been "reclaimed" by the LBGTQ community in a sense of pride for being strong and earning the human rights that were denied them.
