I feel he wants the 6 Shitters back because they are his family in the house.   He wants his family together. He’s Italian.  My hubby is Italian.  He’d chose his family that would stab him in the back over friends who would never.   It’s a cultural and personality thing.   Tommy just strikes me as the type of person that values family and can be loyal to a fault.  Which, unfortunately, is great for Christie’s game.

What are the extent of Cliff's injuries?  Did he sustain all of them during OTEV?  I was listening to Taran Armstrong this morning and he mentioned that it took Cliff two minutes to put a shirt on over his head because of arm/shoulder pain.  If it's the slip & slide, I wonder if he would sit it out?

He sustained the majority of them during OTEV. He might have been previously injured (leg?). His arm hurts (at one point, I think he said that he couldn't even move it). He injured one or both of his legs as well. So yeah, honestly, I don't even think he SHOULD be competing if it's the slip n slide. Five days isn't enough time to be healed enough for a competition like that. But I presume the BB doctor will be able to talk to Cliff beforehand to decide the best way to go. Cliff SAYS he's getting better, but I don't trust that he'll be 100% better by Thursday night, so he better be really careful if that's the comp.

I know they had Christmas simply sit out on the competition because of her injured foot. But Cliff is nowhere near as injured so he'll probably do what Meg did. It just means he has no chance of winning, regardless.

No, Bella, no!  Literally ONE minute after posting that, she posted this!   

What is wrong with that girl?  If she sees everything he said, and everything he did, and what he’s doing with Tommy, and now with Analyse, and then wants to possibly continue with her relationship with him, I have zero sympathy for her.  Can she be that stupid? And I don’t forget how nasty she was to Ovi and the others.  I guess I really don’t think too highly of Bella at all!

I mean maybe Nick and Analyse are just people who really like to cuddle?  It's not like she didn't see them doing it while she was in the house so not real sure why this is any different.  Not saying she needs to stay with him but it's weird that's the thing that makes her want to be done with him.

I don't take her post to mean that the cuddling was the ONE THING that is making her re-consider the relationship.  It could the cuddling, in bed, at night, added to the inappropriate sexual remarks, the humping everyone, the flirting, talking about wanting to have sex with other houseguests,  AND then, on top of all that, making moves toward Analyse as soon as both of their fuckbuddies showmances are gone, that Bella is taking a more realistic look at Nick and seeing the dorky pervert with the weird haircut that everybody else sees.

Essentially, the cuddling is merely the last straw. Nick's behaviour toward not just Analyse but Tommy has been extremely...gross, to put it mildly. Plus, Nick never talks about Bella anymore and I swear he's forgotten that he has a girlfriend. Nick has also said that he's attracted to Analyse. 

It's just disrespectful of Nick to get handsy with people, especially Analyse and Tommy, when Bella's watching. 

In other news, Tommy doesn't want to work with Cliff/Nicole because he wants to work with Holly/Jackson.

Tommy's been talking to Nick.  He says that he thinks it's premature to make a deal with Cliff this week.  He's afraid that if he makes a deal with Cliff and then somehow Cliff ends up on the block against someone like Nick, he will either have to break the deal by voting out Cliff or abide by the deal and vote out someone (like Nick) that he'd rather keep in the game.  He also says that he doesn't want to make a deal because he doesn't want Christie to feel like she's safe and doesn't have to gun for the HOH this week.

I've watched since BB 1, and I don't think I've ever seen anyone like Nick before, and not in a good way. To me, the grossest male houseguests, for their treatment of women, were Evel Dick, who was just mean, and Mike Boogie, who faked a romance very deliberately to get to the end. Cruel and gross. 

Nick is unique, in that he had what appeared to be a legitimate showmance/romance, then as soon as she was evicted, turned into an oblivious, sleazy creep. If Bella has any sense of self preservation at all, she'll run screaming in the other direction.

Nick really backed Tommy into a corner this week which, while I don't know if he meant to or not, was a really good play. Tommy looks super sketchy to Cliff if he doesn't take this deal. But, if he does and Holly/Jackson (or Jess) win HOH, Cliff/Nicole/Nick have ammo against Tommy to move him back up the target list next to Christie. 

I wish Christie/Tommy/Analyse would just tell Jackson/Holly that Kat's repeatedly said she's targeting him so she has to go. Especially since they're all faking this "we're still together!" until they see where the chips fall with the next HOH. Everyone knows the Jackson/Kat feud is a farce, just show them how stupid of an angle they took with trying to keep Kat. Toy with them a little!

Christie is pissed off that Tommy is trying to "rekindle the Five" and she refuses to even sit in on a meeting. Him and Christie are in an interesting place - they've both been venting quite a bit this week to Analyse about each other. 

Tommy seems shocked this week to learn that he was above Christie on the target list - he told Analyse that he wants Christie to win HOH to make her target bigger. And Christie is tired of Tommy trusting and pushing the Five and she "just won't do it" when she knows if Holly/Jackson win she's gone. She doesn't want to play stupid and feels better with Cliff/Nicole and just wants to work with them. 

ETA: Jackson/Holly have been trying to do a lot of damage control and hang out with the HGs again. Holly even used the Grateful Circle to say she's been homesick, and Jackson's been saying he's just doing it to hide their relationship to the Five. Christie sees right through it, but Tommy's been eating it up.

I WAS JUST TALKING ABOUT THIS YESTERDAY. It was after seeing the clip of Jen in BB8 win HOH after BB asked them to guess the amount of gallons the spinning teacup could hold and no one took into account the opening that let them sit in it. I was all REMEMBER THE BULLSHIT WITH THE GUINEA PIGS???

He's been telling Tommy/Analyse/Christie that he and Holly are keeping their distance from them because they don't want the others to know the Five are back to being good with each other (they're actually not, but all pretending they are just in case a Five wins HOH). 

Christie basically wants to draw lines, but Tommy's too scared to agree to work with anyone - he doesn't want it to be used as leverage depending on who wins HOH, and he doesn't want to lose Holly/Jackson's jury vote if he cuts ties with them. He and Christie are trying to play totally different games, and poor Analyse has to listen to each of them wonder what is wrong with the other at least once every hour.

I've been so confused about Tommy's bizarro need to work with Holly, but I just realized he's been trying to play Kaycee's game - be part of an influential alliance but not be the one to personally spill blood, and be good with everyone but absolutely and only loyal to your alliance-mates. He was already not too happy about winning this HOH (even though he now realizes he had to) because he couldn't pretend to be everyone's buddy anymore. If word gets around to Jackson/Holly that he made a deal to work with Cliff, the whole "loyalty above all" part of his game that was so important to making Kaycee respected by the jury in the end falls apart. He's worried he'll be viewed by the jury more like Tyler, who couldn't play the "loyalty" card because he made everyone feel he was only loyal to them, and lost because so many HGs were bitter about feeling personally hurt by him.

ETA: Kat just said she's not going to vote for a cut-throat game even if some could perceive it as great, and Jackson's definitely going to continue his Repair-My-Reputation-I-Have-Cousins Tour by acting like he cares about loyalty and honor and didn't say he wanted to be an emotionless robot all these weeks. Holly will vote with him. Jessica hated Brett lying on Rockstar's Daughter's Birthday, and loved Derrick/Cody's loyalty to each other. And Nicole said she doesn't think a "bitter jury" is a thing after living in the House.

At this point, that kinda falls under both "boring" and "shitty". 

I was laughing my ass off when I came across some "It's so awesome to see someone slowly accept their bisexuality in real time!" directed at Nick. Oh you sweet summer children. I still bear the scars from being anti-Zach and Frankie during BB16. Y'all thought the same thing back then and it turned out that Zach was DMing under-aged girls or something. I was going to go looking for info on that but then I noticed people talking about Big Brother fan fiction and I had to go sit down, put my head between my knees, and breathe into a paper bag.

Heh. I've felt like this thread has been moving noticeably slower than last year's, so I went back and looked. By this point in the game last year—the start of Day 57, the week following Bayleigh becoming the first juror and right after Fessy broke the sink—we were already on page 305. So that's quantifiably how much duller this cast is, 100+ pages and counting.

I have no idea what I walked into on the feeds but there's been some house-wide conversation on water and what is wet versus what we perceive to be wet and temperature and pressure and I think they're giving them edibles in the DR now or something because what? Only it turns out that Nick is the type of stoned dude who doesn't chill and instead gets crabbier and I think him and Tommy are breaking up over water pressure. Or something.

They may be high but I'm definitely not the right kind of high for this.

The change in the forums is what I hate the most of this type of season.  The posts are what makes B.B. B.B. for me. Lol if that makes any sense. 

It’s one thing if an alliance controls because of game savvy and are relatable and another if it’s all ego and smack talk. 

I hate how I post so I’m hoping you understand where I’m coming from.

I don't think they're high, but I do think their mentality is on the same level as a high school student because the whole, "Is water wet?" (I think that might be what you're saying they were talking about) debate is one that my high school students loved to have 2 years ago.
