June is being victimized by Geno, whether or not people want to acknowledge it. He is verbally abusive to her more often than not, among other things.

There is something off with the Pumpkin moving out edit. Pumpkin moves out because June is "pregnant"? and June suspected this during DWTS junior taping which was July of 2018. This last episode was months later, maybe even 7-8 months later but at least 3-4 months and Pumpkin still has just folding chairs and an air bed? no toys for Ella, rugs, couch, TV? She had a TV in her room at June;s house and so many toys and babies items for Ella and none made it to the apartment in months?

Then we see Pumpkin moving Alana from the her home in this last episode and Josh is carrying out baby toys and what appears to be Ella's nursery stuff? Then a scene later shows just the folding chairs in Pumpkins place?

I think Alana moving out happened the same time Josh and Pumpkin left. I;m not sure if the apartment maybe was just used for filming? or maybe Pumpkin wanted their home to not be disclosed to June? When June walked into the "intervention", she was looking for Ella, I give June one thing I think she loves those grand babies. She seemed like she had not seemed Ella for a long time and was only there for Ella. Makes me think again, The four of them moved out awhile ago and filming was just edited the best they could to make some sort of redeeming? story?

Right now they need to end filming with June. If the show really wants to make this a social cause, film Pumpkin. Show what it is like to be 19, have a baby, and trying to start out in life with no education and now have to take care of your 13 year old sister because of your mother being an addict. The show does not need fake pageants and contests . Show life, I'm sure Josh and Alana could provide some comic relief.

There's a good chance that WE wasn't willing to even touch the drug issue on screen at that point.  The network and the family were pushing the June was holding Geno's crack pipe for him lie for quite some time after the arrest, I think they know that if they admitted on air that June was using regularly, especially with Alana in the house,  the show is done. 

Either way, something major happened that they won't talk about.  Josh and Pumpkin were far too angry and emotional for it to be just June ignoring her own health because she does that all the damn time and they're not good enough actors to be faking it.  Josh mentioned feeling like an idiot for not realizing why June was happy to let Alana stay with them for an extended period of time so I'm guessing this was right after he found out about her drug use.

I don't care if WE admits it or not but June was high as fuck when she walked into that intervention.

Every man that June brings around her daughters have a sleazy criminal past. The way their past is presented on TV allows the audience to believe these guys aren't that bad:

Geno- He loves working with the homeless and he would have been more than happy to complete that extra hour (by hour I mean the whole term of community service). He didn't steal from the church he was keeping the money safe from criminals. He didn't commit felony burglary that was a clerical error. That wasn't his crack pipe he was holding it for the gas attendant.

Sugar Bear- gosh darn that silly little rabbit.  He didn't set campsites and campers on fire endangering the lives of innocent people including children he was just trying to make smores (over a period of time) for the kids.

He was arrested days later and charged with felony burglary. Doak pleaded guilty to the burglary charge and was sentenced to three years in prison, but only served three months behind bars for that conviction.

He was arrested again for felony theft in March 2009 after he stole a $500 cargo trailer belonging to The Griffin First United Methodist Church in Griffin, Georgia.  

While out on bail the following month, Doak was involuntarily admitted to Riverwood Behavioral Health System in Clayton County for distress and for attempting to commit suicide for a third time after allegedly taking 35 Valium pills.

Doak claimed he wasn't suicidal and only took two extra tablets in addition to the four Valium pills a day he was prescribed for back pain, according to court records.

He denied attempting suicide to medical staff but admitted that his wife at the time, 'yells as me when I drink one or two beers, and I smoked a few cocaine, and then now and then I use marijuana.'

Doak pleaded guilty to felony theft by taking in February 2010 and was sentenced to 10 years of probation, 80 hours of community service and fined $2,500.00.

But his probation was revoked in December after he failed to report to his probation officer and failing to pay his court fines, he was sentenced to six months in the county jail.

In 2013 Doak's probation was revoked once again after he was charged and pleaded guilty to felony criminal damage to property in the second degree and given a four-year prison sentence.

Georgia Department of Corrections records show Doak served approximately 15 months at the Coastal State Prison in Savannah, Georgia and was paroled in January of 2015.

'Yes, I have found love, y'all. I have a great, wonderful guy, Geno, and I feel like a kid again,' Mama June said.

Mama June and Doak reportedly briefly dated in late 2015 after she had hired him to remodel her Hampton, Georgia, home, just months after his release from prison.

Alana 'Honey Boo Boo' Thompson's father was sentenced to five years in Montgomery Prison for robbing a series of campsites and setting fire to a camper in 1998.

Her eldest daughter, Anna 'Chickadee' Shannon, from whom she is now estranged, didn't know her father, David Dunn, 40, until he was released from prison work detail.

When she was four he was sent to court for a child support hearing and in 1995 he returned to prison for stealing a handgun and again in 1998 for stealing cartons of cigarettes.

Her other daughter Jessica 'Chubbs' Shannon's father is Michael Anthony Ford, 40, who dated her mother just a few months before she became pregnant.

He served more than two years in prison for the sexual exploitation of a child over the internet putting him on the sex offender registry in 2005.

He was also charged with passing bad checks and for shoplifting at a Walmart where he worked.

In 2013 Ford was sent back to prison for a parole violation where he was given a maximum parole date of 2026.

Georgia Department of Probation and Parole, paroled Ford on June 27, 2018 after serving almost five years, and will remain on parole until 2026, according to their website.

Lauryn 'Pumpkin' Shannon's father is allegedly also Michael Anthony Ford.

Just months after calling it quits with her longtime boyfriend Mike 'Sugar Bear' Thompson, Shannon became romantically involved with a former flame who was recently released from prison and a registered sex offender.

Shannon's ex-con former flame, Mark McDaniel, 56, was convicted of aggravated child molestation in 2004, for forcing oral sex upon an eight-year-old child.  At the time of the molestation, Shannon and McDaniel were dating.

McDaniel was released in March 2014, after serving 10 years. He is registered as a sex offender in Georgia.

Shannon has had her own problems with the law. Court records show she served time for cashing bad checks in 1998 and for stealing $3,300 from a safe in a McDonald's she was managing in McDonough, Georgia, in 2004, although those charges were later dismissed.

There is some form dating abuse that seems to be going on (or edited) for the sake of the audience.  Geno is clearly gaslighting June, telling her to go to the hospital then when the EMTs arrive, reminding her of her dead mother, that hospitals kill people, that she's fine.   He's flip flopping on her, and seemingly doing it on purpose to mess with her while she is clearly mentally unstable, and probably on drugs.  There are elements of emotional/dating maniplation and abusive tendencies going on.  Reminds me of a hillbilly Bitter Moon. 

Production must know that drugs are an issue, and it's happening on set, and that was probably why Alana has been moved out and is rarely filmed with June anymore.  Meanwhile, WE is paying production for some "From Not to Hot" show, you can bet there would be some creative editing and shoehorned Jennifer storyline to keep that narrative.

Isn't Gina one of the producers of this show?  I would be interested in camera crews following her around trying to clean up this Geno/June PR nightmare.

What’s there to clean up? They didn’t care after he was arrested, they didn’t care when Alana moved out, they didn’t care when they moved into the casino.

They’re getting ratings and short of an actual act of violence nothing will slow them down.

I agree, they didn't want to cancel the show. Also a case of covering their behinds because they probably don't want to admit that they knew June was on drugs while a minor was living with her. Actually 2 minors if you include Ella.

The show runners must love the people who are falling for their edit. June has been arrested before and has a history of dating bad men and choosing them over her children. She claimed she set up accounts for her children for the money they earned from the show but Anna let it be known June spent that money. Yes Geno is a jerk who said some mean comments but do people remember how June used to treat Sugar Bear like crap? She is not some innocent lamb led astray as they would have you believe.

When I started watching the old Honey Boo Boo show I thought their family might be odd but they really did love each other. But I don't think June loves anybody but herself. At this point I watch it for the train wreck value and my 13 year old doesn't watch it with me any more because it's no longer a fun family show, it's become something darker.

I'm ready to see Geno hit the road. He isn't just getting a bad edit, he's a bad person and he clearly is ready to leave anyway. 

Oh, and Jennifug, June still looked better in the red dress. You looked like a collection of huge red tumors.

I am convinced that that much ballyhooed "magazine cover shot" on Star magazine will turn out to be a teeny tiny little photo crammed at the top of the cover, or to the side of it, with the actual cover story taking up 90% of the cover. Jennifug is in for a major letdown.

From my experience, I thought they always take blood whenever you are admitted into the ER.  They would have looked at that for sure.

June being verbally abused is unacceptable. That doesn't make June any less culpable of neglecting and endangering her children by bringing these felons and pedophioles around her daughters. One of which who went to prison for violently sexually abusing one of her daughters. Upon said pedophiole's release from prison June resumed her relationship with him and stayed in a motel with the pedophiole and Alana.

June sure has come a long way from living with the kids and Sugar Bear by the train tracks and stockpiling all that coupon stuff! Remember the racks in the dining room where we saw all of her stuff piled on? She guarded that stuff like it was a pile of gold.....or shall I say "drugs" now!

I kept hearing Gino telling her to "get back in there and work" when she was running after him chasing him in the rain after she got her hair done. This show IS THEIR DRUG MONEY! If June cannot provide an income, it appears he is out of there. She is nothing more than a cash cow to him. (it didn't hurt he was getting some sex out of it before she gained the weight back either!) Now he seems repulsed by her and it is just making both of them look like fools with all of her BEGGING him for sex and/or attention and he running as fast from her as he can because he is NOT in this for anything more than some drugs to score off stupid June!

I have so much more respect for Pumpkin and Josh now. They are acting so mature right now. She sure didn't learn it from mama! The only thing that makes me upset is how fat Alana is. Pumpkin too, but she did have a baby recently. They all heard the doctor saying how overweight will eventually kill you and that the heart can take just so much. I wish they would start a show featuring Junes kids losing weight and getting healthy....without surgeries!

Speaking of amorality, I agree that WE is afraid of being busted for knowing about (and probably filming) June and Geno using drugs while Alana was in the house.  I can't feel to bad, this is the same network who hired June after it was known she dated her oldest daughter's rapist.  This mess can't be a huge surprise to them.

I wish they would start a show featuring Junes kids losing weight and getting healthy....without surgeries!

Patients who have bariatric surgery still have a lot of work to do.  Pumpkin and Alana would more likely not need surgery because it's easier for young people to lose weight versus someone in their late-20s and beyond who has been close to 300 pounds or more for years and have a host of health problems.

Since the casino/hotels (actually there are the Atmore casino, the Montgomery complex, and Wetumpka complex) are tribal property.    The local police might not have jurisdiction to enforce the no contact order.    I'm not sure of the legal status of the casino/hotel properties, but that might be why the police aren't taking Geno away.    

Just as on reservations the FBI has jurisdiction, and the tribal police do, but not local or state police.    So depending on the status of the complexes the casinos and hotels are on, there might be a jurisdictional issue with enforcement of arrest warrants, and restraining orders.   If their bondsman violates their bond, I'm not sure they can send bounty hunters after them either.     The tribe does have their own police force, but I don't know if they have reciprocal agreements, or how the jurisdiction works out.

It apparently doesn’t apply to the one here where I live, also tribal-owned. Local police were called when a guy dressed up like Santa Claus was being disruptive. He went to jail, was in court the next day and got a court-appointed attorney.

Child Services needs to step in and get Alana a good attorney. Pumpkin also. Otherwise June will take the money and smoke it.

I believe June owns her house outright. She had some TLC money and said she said she could have bought bigger or better but chose that one for being nice but affordable and having money left over to live on. I hope she has not taken an home equity loan in her current state. Pre-Geno I would have said June was good with money, she seemed to not run out and buy fancy clothes, bags, fancy trips, she really changed very little but the house. 

Doe Doe on the show, owned a small bakery. That was a few years ago. Not sure if she still does? It was in a smaller strip mall and she had it open 6am-3pm type hours.  I believe Doe Doe is divorced (or broke up from her child's father, not sure if they were married). I just wonder why Doe Doe does not fix her teeth? Even if WeTV gives her a small sum lets say 2k to appear, why can't Doe Doe use that for dentures or some dental help.

Unless specified in a contract, if June wants to take the money and smoke it she can. As for CPS this is really not that big of a deal since she’s living with her sister now. Besides, if they didn’t step in when June got back with the pedo why would this be different?

I'll try to remember to keep an eye on this one.  The show was up a bit last week to 900K viewers and a .26 rating being the 8th cable show of the day.

How convenient that the producer did the interviewing, that way they could make sure they all followed the story line of June being stressed because of Geno. They still will not talk about the elephant in the room, JUNE IS ON DRUGS.

First of all, thank you druzy for the info re: MJ's previous paramours.

Second, I'm soo impressed with Pumpkin and Josh. Especially Pumpkin.  So much so that I'm going to refer to her by her given name... Lauryn.  There aren't too many 19 year old sisters of 13 year olds; who would take the reins and GO with their younger sister.  She deserves our kudos and prayers!

Third, I'm really put off by the whole "dating abuse" PSA's being shown over and over.  This is NOT DATING ABUSE!  This is DRUG ABUSE!  I mean, seriously. DATING? Those two live together! And just because Geno is an asshole, the fact remains... Junebug went along with his bull!

JMHO, I'm seriously concerned about Alana and how she fares vis a vis, the obvious upcoming court battle over her custody.  Seeing the dingleberry Jennifer say, "We're gonna FIGHT for Alana" just gives me the shivers.

Oy! What a shitshow.  If WETV can pull this out and show some empathy and real caring for a 13 year old girl, that would be good.

Not sure they're capable of it. But I've been wrong before. Fingers crossed! And prayers seriously, for Alana and Lauryn.

Oh, and Jennifer? Girl, you need not wear shorts THAT short on my TeeVee again.  And maybe you might think about losing some more weight and have some KNEE surgery.  Just a thought.

Jennifer in short shorts?!?!  How did I miss that?  I stay glued to the screen during this clusterfuck of a show.  Was it when the producer was interviewing them?  Ok, I guess I was un-glued for a few minutes while I fixed myself some grub (no, not sketti) and just listened to that part.  Please tell me so I can go back and gag watch for real.  Then watch again.

I know some people feel sorry for June, but I don't.  I can't stand that piece of trash.  In addition to all her other crap, she has literally abandoned her youngest daughter.  She was shocked when Lauryn said she was taking Alana home with her.  Why didn't MJ make arrangements for Alana if she was going to stay in Alabama after she got out of jail.  BECAUSE SHE'S A PIECE OF TRASH!!!  I really and truly feel sorry for that child and hope she never has to live with her "mama" again.  I don't know where I want her to live, but not with MJ.  And definitely not with Sugar Bear & Jennifer!  Sadly, the options for Alana's living situation are extremely limited.

I agree with everyone who is impressed with how Lauryn has stepped up to the plate.  Thinking back on how she behaved during the early seasons of "Here Comes Honey Boo Boo", the change is nothing short of remarkable.  Wasn't she struck by lightning when she was a child?  Then she was in that car wreck and had a head injury.  It's a wonder she isn't dead.  She's always been my favorite, and except when he was first introduced, I've always liked Josh.  They make him act stupid, but I hear a lot of common sense coming from his mouth.

Did anybody notice Lauryn said that her mother sends them money?  She and Josh should have their own money from the show, not have to depend on MJ.  I saw a very brief clip of MJ at the casino and she was feeding money into the slots as fast as her filthy fat fingers could fly.  When it show her hands when her tooth broke, they were nasty gross.  And she was eating with those stubby sausages!

I would rather die than speak the words "Mother" and "vibrator" in the same sentence, much less talking about my MOTHER'S vibrator!  Those girls know way too much about their mother's life.

I'm sad that next Friday is the last episode.  I sure hope it's renewed.

No, they were basically like Bermuda short length. But if I were unfortunate enough to have her legs, they'd be covered top to bottom at all times. Honestly, I know she's healthier without the weight, but she looked better before- at least her top and bottom matched.( And she had hair)

This episode was a waste of time. There was nothing revealed that hasn't already hit the news(well, maybe not the thing about Geno and the vibrator).

Lord, can you imagine being the cameraman on this show for SEVEN YEARS?! The stories he must have to tell his wife (or whatever) after work must be something.

Alana is almost 14 years old, she should have a stay where she lives unless the courts find Sugar Bear or Pumpkin unfit guardians.  I think she wants to live with Pumpkin and Josh or she would be with SB and Jennifer.

Despite June's arrest, they're still being cagey about her drug abuse.  It will be totally annoying if they frame her intervention next week as only trying to get her away from Geno.
