We can't have it both ways. We can't look at those obviously too thin (Daphne, Gina, Tess, etc.) and blast/blame the DCC for their ridiculous weight requirements/pressure to fit in the uniform, etc.;

It's why I wish they would pick the team quicker.  The longer TC goes on, the more stressed they get and they start to psych themselves out, questioning every little thing.  Also, it would give the rookies a little more time before the first game to relax and enjoy the moment.

Reality check.

The above video appears very intentional and deliberate, judging  by the production quality, editing, and use of multiple cameras and/or multiple takes.  The goal also appears to have the ladies dressed similarly, but not identical, a la the hip hop halftime.

In other words, the featured ladies (Gina, Maddie, and Lauren), were most likely CHOSEN based on how they performed AND Gina was placed front and center.  Probably because she was performing the best,  So if anyone is off count, it's not probably her.  And if they didn't like her top, they would have changed it.  Gina is not responsible for producing this video, therefore has no control over formations or footage used.

Everyone gets their own opinion . . . but two plus two still does not equal ten.

I don't think I'll ever understand their weight rules.  If you're on weight warning the whole season, that must mean the weight stayed on.  I'm curious if she was ever benched for it.  Otherwise, what's the point of the warning?

Yes!  I was worried for Brennan (yes, worried!) with all the "what's happening with Brennan?" comments at the end of TC. She was, once again, getting herself freaked out.  I'm glad Kelli looked past it this time!

Exponentially it does.

If they did choose her top, it was a bad choice. It was too baggy and loose and made her arm motions look sloppy and off count.

I don’t care about Gina’s top but yet again everyone was able to be sexy and still smile or look like they’re having fun and she had the same look on. I don’t care if she’s the best dancer on the team (which for me isn’t true;maybe the best senior vet if that), but she’s not point material.

i liked the girls but i don’t like Jen’s choreo. It’s a bit different at least.

I agree about the production being intentional though these days its not too hard to put some raw footage together with a filter. Gina is featured but so is Khalyn, Caroline, Brennan... There were several leads. Yes Gina is a phenomenal dancer but her style is distracting when she is with a group and she has been off count before (in other videos). They even called her out for doing "different movements than the others" when she was a TCC. It's still happening.

She will likely be point and I will find myself annoyed with the distracting style but I'll give credit where credit is due. If the other ladies would raise their game, then Gina wouldn't be as distracting I guess. She is the best dancer - just not the best group dancer.

Yikes.  I’ve seen the chatter about Gabby and weight gain but this is the first time I’ve seen her.  She’s a perfectly fine weight for normal life which I think might have to be her choice over DCC unless there’s something causing the weight gain other than the normal maturing that happens to some of us at about that age.

I thought Amy looked great in that video. And I didn't mind Gina, although I'm not all about her. Ha I noticed Cianna once, but unpopular opinion from me: I hate her curly hair!! I don't care if she straightened it. I hope Gabby can get it together regarding her weight. I think she's so pretty. I don't wanna see her cut because of that.

I think that could be the reason she is cut at finals if she don’t get some of it off especially if the new rookies coming in are strong

I liked the solo overall, but her jumps lacked power and height and her turn seemed a little slow, though it did match the music.  However, her costume did NOT match what she was trying to do.  Given Queen's, and especially Freddy Mercury's, style in their heyday, she could have had fun with the costume and played it up more.

Honestly, hate to say it, but for DCC level of dance 5/10 tops. She has decent technique but looks like she has to stop and prep for turns, etc, and zero power. Love her she's a fave but dang that is boring and not very complicated. It's not even like JennK class where the moves are fairly basic but intention is to be very clean with technique so it LOOKS easier than it actually is. Tess is just so dang tall and pretty that good posture and just walking around looks pretty, but nothing complicated about this. Not even like old Melissa or Erica routines with a ton of tricks strung together, or pretty lyrical lines like Lacey, or not the best amazing technique but fun pop and power like Jenna, or flat out fun to watch like Kashara. For anywhere else this might be 8/10 but DCC *YAWN*. Good thing shes pretty and reliable!

That is a very good description of each dancers's style.

I feel the same about Taylor J. I think she's a Tess 2.0, beauty-wise. I watched her Instagram dance vids and I hate to say this but she's boring.

Also I do really adore Tess so hate to say but did her foot even leave the ground for that one leap, and the split jump wasn't that extended either. I can't help it I need to stop. Love the costume.

Where's Christina? I feel like I haven't seen her in any pics or videos lately. I was looking at the latest group picture of a dance class or something a lot of the girls posted on Instagram stories, and I didn't see her. I actually went and counted and there's 34 girls in it. Idk who else is missing. Lol

Yep, this is the same guy. The oldest post of the two of them I can find on her profile is April 2018, and the oldest I see on his is December 2017. Assuming the break was in between there.

The sad thing is that I said “who” when I read Taylor J. I didn’t even remember her until i looked at the roster. I thought you were referring to the girl who didn’t know what #metoo was lol
