Eh, without Butch, C & T REALLY wouldn't have a storyline. He's part of what keeps them on TV and is/was (like it or not) one of the most popular side characters in this franchise (I didn't say most likable).  MTV has made some money off of him for sure. I'm thinking they can foot the bill for Butch's drug treatment after all the good moments of bee-bopping, luxurious jail hair, and smelling babies' heads he's provided them with to make the show more interesting. I mean they sent Amber & Jenelle to rehab when they were both still getting high and sent Leah and Catelynn for anxiety/depression when we know they both love drugses, too. I know he's not a Teen Mom, but he's honestly more entertaining than any of the moms even if he's an awful father. We saw him do more work (remodeling the house with Tyler and working doing fences) right after his second to last jail release (ha) than we have EVER seen any of the original TM girls and their baby daddies do. So why not try it, Butch? I don't blame for Butch for trying. Grifters gonna grift and it was worth a shot.

Plus I'm betting whatever rehab takes them in gives them a generous discount for the MTV publicity. So I don't think it costs them that much, anyway.

Tyler's designs

I was drawing like that when I was 8 years old. I put together better outfits for my Barbies.

Agree. Simon also tweeted once before how MTV pays for all the rehab stints. Those rehab places have at one time or another been connected to Dr. Drew somehow. It is like six degrees of separation.

All of these dumbasses talking about their "businesses."  I'd love to know how profitable all of them are.  The only one who seems to have a modicum of success is Farrah and I'm not really buying that, either. Retail is a tough business and she's got 3 going (and all different) and it doesn't seem like she's there as much as I typically see people who own their own businesses - meaning like all of the time.

They think because they're on TV that they can be business owners. Tyler and Catelynn sounded ridiculous talking about their "vision."  Whatever happened to their "vision" of community college?

I never understood why they would want to start a business from scratch anyway. They have 0 business acumen. Why not invest in a franchise (Subway, Domino's, anything that's already somewhat established) and actually learn how to run a business that way? But I guess that would require them to actually leave the house and put in, you know, a little...manual labor.

I don't understand how they can have so many projects they are passionate about.

In some ways I get it, I did not wind up doing what I thought I would with my life my first, or even second major, and at the time I would have told you I was passionate about it, and I truly believe I was... but all of mine were also loosely related. First I wanted to teach elementary school, until I remembered how introverted I am and how much anxiety 20 sets of eyes on me all day would give me (also my college required 2 semesters of physics for education majors... no thanks). So I changed to family and child development, and wanted to work towards being a child life specialist (for those unfamiliar it's someone who works with children and their families to help the understand procedures/ disease processes) while I was in school my grandad was really sick and geographically I was the closest, so I spent a lot of time taking care of him and realized I liked nursing, and that I could use the child life piece and translate it to being a nurse... and getting a job as a nurse would likely be much easier than child life... so I'm a nurse. But my long winded point is, I personally think 18 (or 16 in their case) is too young to decide what you want t do with your life, so I'm not necessarily going to fault them for changing their minds about what they want to do, BUT they change their minds at ever whim, and tell us how passionate they are about everything and how this is what they e been meant to do all their lives and want us to get behind them and blindly support them 100%.  And it's all over the place, they've gone from social working, to motivational speaking, to reconnecting loved ones, now to clothing, I'm pretty sure I've missed some . I guess I'm jealous to some degree that they have the resources to do all this flipping around, and yet it seems like they piss away every opportunity they have to actually make something.

MTV should rename the show Teen Mom OG & Tyler!  No way in hell is he leaving Catelynn while this show is still on the air!  I'm sure Cate makes bigger bucks than Ty but as long as it goes into their joint account; he can get his hands in all of it.  Tyler keeps saying he will never leave Cate but deep down even Cate knows that's not true...hence her anxiety and depression.

This would make way to much sense. And I really think these people think they are  above owning a subway or an other fast food franchise... Which if  I  think about it,   blows my mind lol.

I was speaking to a friend years ago, and that is exactly what he said to do. Not these teen  mom people, just in general.  He said it's a good investment and you will make money. He also said people would be surprised that  a lot celebrities own fast food franchises.

Tyler is also the finder of lost loved ones.

I wonder what the status of that show is?, now that he's CEO of Tierra Reign.

These two and their business? He said something about finding a consultant ( I think that's the term he used) online. Online consultant then recommended coffee shop seamstress. Don't these people have financial advisors/planners? They should.

Coffee shop seamstress. Sounds like a song by Wilco.

Or a job that someone tells you they have at the start of a House hunters episode.  She's a coffee shop seamstress, he repairs theremins. Their budget is 749k and they are looking for an open floor plan, lots of property, and a fuck dungeon suite.

So next week ep., Catelynn says she text Teresa about a visit and didn't get a response.  Take that as a "no", Catelynn!

Or maybe "Get your ass off TV and quit using our daughter for publicity, and maybe we'll consider reinstating annual visits".

So, basically we will watch Catelynn end up on the couch, playing up the depression.

Honestly, I think B& T are done with the visits especially after the open pot-smoking on national TV.

This shit again?  When will Catelynn realize that she is not Carly's mother...

When Catelynn said that Teresa hadn't responded to her text, all I could think was...maybe because she isn't constantly hunched over her phone and is actually participating in the parenting of a child. Not that Cate would know anything about that.  I can just see Cate messaging her at 2:31 and at 2:33, OMG NO RESPONSE YET, TIME WORK MYSELF INTO A DEPRESSION.

Also, I would not blame Brandon and Teresa one bit for never contacting these yoohoos ever again. Carly's probably smart enough to run the Google now...they don't need her typing in those two idiot's names and seeing all their garbage.

Catelynn and Tyler (as well as their kinfolk) have no respect for the requests made by Brandon and Teresa.  If C/T/Butch demonstated just an iota of respect towards Carly's parents, I think they have more communication. But --- the Baltierra's view her as Baltierra property -- now and forever.

I also think that the iCarly adoption thing is their main storyline. If Cate "gets over it", then what are they left with? Butch getting arrested and Nova potty training? If indeed Cate is really not moving forward in her grief about giving iCarly up, then being on this show is not good for her because she is forced to re-live it daily for the sake of the show.

I think they aren't supposed to discuss their private conversations on the air.

So sick of this Carly storyline.

And then they act shocked when B&T don't answer right away after the "casually mention" that they aren't answering and the rabid C&T fans stalk them at their jobs saying they should give Carly back.

Yea, I think it would be a lot to expect them never to utter Carly's name. I think it was more that they're not supposed to discuss specifics. But I don't like Cate always bringing up not getting calls or texts back, because she knows B&T don't want to be on the show and can't give their side of it. Stop using these people as your storyline!

So was it true, and necessary, and kind for her to yell, "Trashy Bitch!" at Farrah?

(I actually kind of want to ask that on IG.)

When Matt and Amber force THEIR vomit-inducing "porn" on the masses, I'll expect her to put her Florence Henderson pants back on and make the same comment.

What the actual fuck is this?

Here's what should happen!  Amber and Tyler should partner up and open a boutique of completely dumb outfits for little girls to wear around town.  Amber can stock her side with ball gowns and formal wear like she bought for Leah's first day. Tyler can stock his with play date attire.  It can be the neighborhood gag gift store.

The fringes look like they can be potentially dangerous, they can get caught in a door etc. Other than that the shorts are just stupid. A kid wants to run around and those fringes will be flying everywhere. I don't know why I'm being so dramatic about fringes, but the shorts bother me.

ETA: I didn't even think of the uncovered fan @ghoulina !

The fringe on the shirt looks like it was just cut with scissors and not finished in any way, making it likely to fray pretty quickly. It just looks so half-done!

This looks exactly like the crap my friends and I used to "design" in 3rd grade. We thought we were groundbreaking, doing stuff adults had never thought to do in fashion. (Turns out there were good reasons they didn't.) Now Tyler, a very tall 3rd grader with a tiny mouth and a Lego head, is living my  3rd grade dream. Make a stupid face for the camera, Tyler! Oh, you already did. Well then.
