Watching Janelle and Barb somewhat getting along on the phone made me think that things between she and UBT have hit an all time low. Then UBT listens in on the next phone call, growls, and removes all doubt. Jenelle has a pattern of being disrespectful and down right bitchy to Barb. However, when she is in trouble (homeless, physically abused) with a guy she seeks out her mother and tends to be much nicer. She knows Barb will have her back in the situation regardless of how Janelle treats her. I think that is why UBT insisted she have another baby and to win her over, he proposed. All of this is his way of tightening his grip on her and making sure she is further isolated from her mother (who would come through for Janelle in a pinch if she decided to leave him). Lawd.

I can't shake the feeling that UBT is going to "Federline" Janelle once this farce of a relationship/marriage is over. He has custody of one kid and I can totally see him trying it with Enz. She'll be paying him out the wazoo when it's all said and done.

Excellent post. I was 14 when I met my first boyfriend. However, my mother never allowed me to go out alone on a date with him, so it was pretty much a school and occasional chaperoned dance relationship. She told me "you're gonna have all of your life to find the right one. You'll be fine. No need to rush." Of course I thought it was B.S. at the time, but she was right. Instead of pushing Jazz to date seriously or find love, I would also hope that her parents would encourage her to explore dating when she is ready-not when THEY think she should be ready. Fall back, she's got enough on her plate as it is.

Many, including myself, speculated that this marriage wouldn't last once Ryan completed rehab and realized he had no business getting married while he was strung out. After watching Mack on the reunion (living her dream), he won't have to divorce her. All he has to do is tell her he's done with the show and she'll be gone in less than 24 hours, 1440 minutes, and 86, 400 seconds...
