It makes me sad to think of the young girls and women who purchase this crap thinking the TMs actually use the product. But, yeah, marketing. Get the dollar while you can. 

 

And speaking of dollars, its a little creepy to have a coloring book of your wedding. Isn't that a special day?  Why marginalize it by making it a coloring book?  Does she really think she's some fairy princess girls aspire to be like?  Are people sending her their colored in versions?  Does she put them on her fridge?

Haha, I'm so old.  I don't get these kids with their random-ass tattoos.  I just recently went through this with my own 22 year old.  He said, and I quote, "I won't be stopping by next weekend.  I'm planning on going to a friend's house and getting drunk, and making a really bad decision."

Me:? "you are planning, a week in advance, to make a bad decision?  What decision is that?  Because, you know, people usually don't plan on getting drunk and being stupid."

A tattoo.  That's what he planned on.  I loved every second of it too because apparently it hurt like hell.

I spent yesterday watching TV shows that are new to me. TLC had 'The Long Island Medium' and 'Long Lost Family.' On LLF they had a woman that looks exactly like Maci's Mom. I stopped to take a photo! I'd post it but I don't know how to post photos or links. I'll give it a whirl though cuz really she could be LLF of Maci's.

I watched the After show and Nessa showed the clip but never asked Maci about it. I think she was saying they get drunk and have terrible fights.

I know a few people who do this.  They are all on the borderline of being alcoholic and their favorite shared activity is drinking. But man, the bickering is awkward...and it's clear to others they should probably lay off the drinking for a bit in order to save their relationship.

Not surprised that she and Taylor fight and I wouldn't even give their marriage 5 years. Hell, I wouldn't give their relationship three years, but it might take another 2 years for one of them to initiate divorce proceedings. It's pretty clear they don't have that much in common and drink together because they don't know what else to do with each other. Taylor's comments about marrying Maci for the show and getting a renewal may have been in jest, but I think there's some truth there and that was probably extremely hurtful and embarrassing for Maci.  I think he leaves her holding the bag with childcare and housework and Maci has to just live with it, knowing her odds of finding a replacement husband- while having three kids- are pretty small and god forbid these chicks ever be single.

I totally agree. That's her natural body type and she's the only TM (OG or TM2) whose figure I envy. I'll never understand why it's okay to criticize thin women or say they need a sandwich or whatever. 

I also think she has the best hair and cutest kids (although Jace is up there), but can't say I'm a fan of the tattoopalooza situation or the gauged earrings.

I definitely think they're a drinking team. And when Maci was pregnant Taylor "lost" his drinking buddy (even though some claim she drank while pregnant - I doubt she drank to get trashed) and that probably placed some resentment - Maci felt left out and probably asked him not to drink while she was pregnant because it wasn't "fair" but he did it anyway. I'm just guessing. 

I really hope there isn't much trouble in their brand new marriage because they have the cutest family on this franchise. It's been said that the first year of marriage (regardless of how many years dated before wedding) are the hardest in a marriage. Will see but I hope for the best for those cute kids.

ETA: I know I said "she's just skinny" above and that wasn't making fun of the fact that she's skinny I just meant that her body looked awkward in that Bikini shot because I'm also skinny like her and can't pull off a bikini with how bony I look but if anyone took offense to it I apologize.

I think Taylor likes to do the "fun" things with parenting, and leaves Maci with the boring and tedious stuff. And we do know he doesn't help much with housecleaning or laundry.

Regarding Maci, I totally get why not a lot of people find her body attractive. I also agree with @GreatKazu that anyone who takes a picture of their ass in skimpy bikini bottoms and posts it on social media had better be okay with comments about it, whether they are skinny, average, overweight, or, um, Kail. I mean, Maci once posted a video of herself shaking her ass for like a solid minute.

 

It's a touchy subject because I just personally like the aesthetics of a slim body like Maci's. That doesn't mean I think a woman needs to be a size 0 to be attractive, but I just prefer her body type to others. Yet I am always hesitant to say that, because complimenting her a very thin woman on her body feels like walking on a landmine (not talking about here, just in general).

Maci has the same look from behind that Farrah once had before she got those fake butt implants. I found Farrah's look from behind unattractive as well.

I found Leah Messer's body to be attractive before she lost so much body fat, and she is a thin person. So, the assumption that Maci is being chastised for her thinness is way off base. One can be thin (Maci) or thick (Kail) and be looked upon as attractive, but they can have aspects about their body that just come off looking unattractive. Kail had a good body after Isaac. She screwed that all up with her plastic surgery.

Yes, but...it really can be a landmine. Particularly in Maci's case, as although she doesn't look sickly thin to me, I am sure based on height and weight charts Maci is underweight. So, I make a comment that an underweight woman has a nice body, and someone feels like I am essentially saying healthy weight women are unattractive (not someone here, just in general). And then all the sudden that morphs into, "comments like that are the reason women develop eating disorders". Again, not saying it's right, just saying after 33 years of preferring very thin body types for women, I've learned to keep that opinion to myself.

 

I thought Farrah had the best body of the franchise in the early years of Teen Mom, before any plastic surgery. She was without much body fat, but had an athletic build with some obvious muscle tone. I know we rip on Kail, and her plastic surgery choices, but I honestly think Farrah more than anyone really wrecked an awesome body.

I think Farrah and Leah looked great, especially before Farrah got the plastic surgery.

IMO Leah has lost just a bit too much weight. Even though Maci and her are probably the same size, I think Maci carries it better because I think Maci is just a naturally thin person whose fortunate enough to drink all the bud light she likes without gaining weight. Leah I think is just a little below her natural weight and she's starting to look gaunt.

Maybe he didn't fly first class. I never fly first class but guess what? I have seen some celebs on the plane and I sit there thinking, "Why are they not flying first class?"  I once flew with Southwest and there across the aisle was apl.de.ap from the group Black Eyed Peas. By the way, I had to Google his name. I know him because I am a fan of BEP, but I didn't want to misspell his name. My daughter travels a lot and she has encountered celebs on her flights and only once has she flown first class. A co-worker of mine happened to see an actor on her flight and she too mentioned she was shocked he didn't fly first class. I wish I could remember who the actor was. It was so long ago.

I'll echo the above sentiments. I used to travel for work every week. Specifically, when I worked in Washington, DC, I would see well known Senators in my terminal and on my flights. Most of the time, they sat in coach, because us road warriors being traveling every week always got upgraded.

Right after the last season of The Girls Next Door we were on a Las Vegas to Burbank Southwest flight with Holly Madison.  We noticed her at the gate while everyone was lined up to board.  Maybe she has toned down her style by now but back then she stood out like a sore thumb with the platinum blonde hair, heavy make up, and skimpy outfit accessorized with knee high tube socks.
