Is there still a show though? If anything, I'd bet Amber was fired. But if the show, or a Gary special, films I would bet Mtv could get Leah grandfathered in legally. I'm sure they can make it happen without Amber if that's what they choose to do.

Took Amber 3 hours to respond back to her daughters "I love you momma" when it was sent in the late afternoon? LOL. Okay, NOW I'm nitpicking. :-)

I just heard Amber "quit"  and had to rush over here. I think this is going to be one of the weakest "I quit" moments.  There is no way she can keep her house rental or not without the show. I read somewhere she is mad that Farrah and Michael weren't punished... to be honest I actually have not watched the fight so I can't really comment on the fairness of the editing, but it's not like Farrah has ever gotten the angel edit, I think if her or Michael had thrown a punch it would have been shown.  Based on what had been said here it's clear Amber initiated the fight, she stormed out during Farrah's interview. I find it really funny though when the fight initially happened Amber was everywhere saying "the truth will come out" but now that it has aired and made her look like a fool it's all editing.

I watched the fight. It was pretty obvious - Amber charged the stage and threatened Farrah, Michael came out and was saying something to Amber (you couldn't hear what he said though) and then Matt is the one that initiated the confrontation with Michael. Amber is full of shit. She is only mad because MTV shows things exactly the way they are and she can't stand that the show makes her & Matt look terrible (which they absolutely are).

@ginger90 I just read her backtracking tweets too!!!

This is not about just money. This is about respect among other things. If we reach an agreement on how to settle than I'm happy. Until then

PT.2 this is what my decision is.I care for the people I work with but until we're on the same level then I have to do what's right for me.

things that make you go hmmm...makes me wonder if M/A are into something illegal that they know is capable of paying the bills anyway.  Wouldn't put it past either one.  In fact, it's the only credibility the "I have three businesses" statement could possibly have.

Well, duh, they're going to live off the proceeds of Gnat's book, which will be the best selling since the Bible. Then a blockbuster movie will be made in the style of the classic underdog and everyone will quote lines from it until they become adages for all true families. People will have plaques of said pearls of wisdom above their kitchen sinks and world peace will consequently be achieved.

She was probably pissed because they spent the whole season trying to repair Matt's image. Anyone with a brain saw through it, but not her dumb twitter followers  (she blocks anyone who comments in an even neutral way, so she's left with the likes or morons that think she's a great mom).

Then Matt pulls an Amber for everyone to see. I guess she somehow thought Michael choked Matt because that's what Matt probably told her, but with everything out of his mouth it was a lie.

I also don't get wtf kind of leverage these girls have. They are easily replaceable. You could easily find 3 trashy chicks and 1 sane one and have a new show. Just like they do with Real World each season. Maybe the Teen Mom 3 experiment tarnished that thought a little.  MTV must have horrid contract negotiators. Other than Farrah and Chelsea none of the girls have any sort of legit skills. And the other avenues that have a platform to make money will dry up after 6 months of them not being on TV (ie these dumbass clothing lines). They should be happy with $1K an episode and having MTV cover their food the week each month they are filming.

If they've been fired, they're definitely going to be on another trash show ASAP. They have rent, car leases and child support to pay.

On the reunion Amber mentioned being closer to Gary's house. I think she said 15 minutes. Anyone know where she moved to? This surely solidies the fact Amber did not buy that McMansion. One doesn't just up and move around the way Amber does if they owned a home.

 See Stupid People ‏@TwitAcctCA

@YoursTrulyNai what about that show would be good? honest question. all she does is sit on couch, drive to get fast food, and sit in garage.

Plus, the few that said oh, I see it was about money.

I don't even know why it matters that Farrah is on the show. This isn't like they have to interact often while filming.

This was at a page linked on MTV's Twitter

Following Portwood's announcement on Thursday, which claimed she was leaving the show after feeling disrespected by the network, Abraham released a statement.

“I’m out of the drama. None of the girls will quit — they like the attention, need the money and their boyfriends need the money too much to quit,” Abraham told Us Weekly on Friday. “I get Amber is embarrassed of her actions, but she flip flops and will be right back to filming. This is dramatic. She can quit and not make it public if she really was done.”

Ginger90, thanks for the update.  I don't read any TM stuff outside this forum. Boy, Farrah called it though,  didn't she? The only thing that would have been better was if she had said "This is dramastic."

Farrah definitely has her number. It reminds me of those people who will get mad on Facebook or in forums and grandly announce their departure, only to slink back in a day or two later. The few times I have gotten mad and left something (as opposed to just naturally finding spending my time elsewhere) I have done it without bravado. The only reason to make a big announcement is because you want something. In this case, it's almost certainly attention and mo' money.

Amber is crazy but she doesn't hide it. (Okay, she probably tries, but she can't.) Cate is bitchy and a little unhinged. Farrah lays it all out on the table, good and bad. Maci, though, she's the sneaky one. She's the one in the white dress and lace gloves, clutching her pearls and holding her Bible while whispering in the other girls' ears to go wreck the pulpit.

Amber: Money is not a problem with or without MTV

How delusional! We've all read the MTV crew interview in which one of the producers (Larry I think?) said Amber had nothing in her fridge and he felt so bad he went and bought her and Garry food. Without MTV she will be back there, except that this time even Garry won't be around.

That is seriously getting to me. I want to meet one of these people in real life. Does the internet make them stupid? I mean, once they get off the Twitter, do they regain their sense of logic?

Could someone please explain to me how Ambien is an inspiration, a good mother, come a long way, etc.? Seriously, these people are not watching the same show or they're carbon copies of this bitch and feel validated by her behaviour.
These "sacrifices" she made are, in her mind, going to gel -due to her own actions- and not having primary custody of Bew-Bew, again due to herself. She doesn't pay her own child support (as far as we know) because of her entitled attitude, she owns nothing, she signed up for college and then that was the end of that.
How is money not a problem without MTV? Maybe she's going to do porn...
I hope MTV calls her bluff and says, "See ya!"

Now a boutique with the profits going to teen moms??

Whatever happened to the sober house they were opening?

Amber can't buy herself a home. Also, they can't pull a con with the sober house like they can with an online boutique.

Even this boutique lark isn't an original idea. She nicked that from Maci, and the house flipping thing was Simon & Farrah first, wasn't it?
I rather think Ambien is getting "Inspiration" mixed up with "cautionary tale".

Oh yeah, money definitely wouldn't be an issue with or without my job also. Money is just an idea, like happiness. You can wish it into being. Funny how she figures she could still get plastic surgery to cure her depression without her MTV job.

Apparently, money is a problem, even WITH MTV.  There's the little matter of a 2016 IRS tax lien in the amount  $134, 919.  Has Ambien ever responded to Twitter questions about that?  I know she blamed her near-eviction on her landlord looking for publicity, as if a landlord needs that kind of publicity.  Maybe the IRS is just looking for publicity, too.

Farrah is absolutely correct. She even said this in (mostly) correct, coherent English (compared to her typical word-salad-Farrah-speak).

This almost makes me think that Farrah is trolling us all and her awful/insane persona is all just an act. Almost.
