Ill say that Amber does genuinely seem happier now, but it just pisses me off when we are all aware there is something going on like when Matt and Amber were coming to an end and we all knew it was coming but she was doing everything in her power to try to convince us no they were fine... but now wants to come out with her sob story that things were so bad and we could never understand and we were oblivious when we all knew there was something wrong. In a way I get it’s gotta be hard in the public eye and they don’t necessarily owe us every aspect of every detail... but don’t give me the “I was so strong putting on a happy face and nobody knew” act when we all knew.

She may have a legitimate mental illness but I can’t take all her sniveling and snot slurping while she feels sorry for herself and refuses to take real action to improve her life. I totally understand that real depression can come across this way, but it doesn’t make it any less frustrating to watch when it’s someone I don’t really know or like. 

I used to love Dr. Drew on LoveLine and still enjoy him on podcasts, and I wish he would actually keep up with this show and do a better job on the reunions. Or at least bring Adam Carolla with him and just see who loses their shit first.

Mackenzie TOTALLY knows that Ryan is full of it when talking about drugs/rehab. These two just look so guilty on the couch. Dr. Drew isn't buying it. 
Did Larry just say, "Get him, girl" when it was suggested that Maci go out on the couch with Ryan? Maci has Ryan's number and Ryan knows it...and I say that as someone who is NOT a Maci apologist.

Well, at least we go some answers on how Ryan ended up a junkie. Could he look  more like he could not wait for filming to be over so he could get high. 

I know everyone deals with things differently but I am so over Cate.

• It's possible that Amber has officially surpassed Jenelle for my most hated Teen Mom at this point. Jenelle is still a terrible nightmare of a person but I tend to think a lot of that is honestly some sort of untreated personality disorder and despite the fact that those kids are probably in all kinds of danger living with her out there on the land with Lurch, she is doing more hands on parenting than Amber has ever done. Amber also has mental health issues but she is a lazy, manipulative bitch who is never capable of taking any responsibility for her own BS. I am furious that Dr. Drew did not post Gary's question to Amber - what would happen to Leah if Gary and Kristina broke up, Gary got depressed and just decided he could not be a parent for a while as a result? Would it be okay for him to abandon Leah? No. So why is that okay for Amber?

Did Ryan say he is in drug court? Um, I don’t know about how things operate in his jurisdiction but here if you’re in drug court you have to see a counselor and drug screen when they ask. Any refusal or missed test is considered a “positive” and back to jail. Wish Dr Drew would ask him to piss in a cup or better yet, a hair test. Don’t believe for one second that he is drug free.

Cate can spare me her tears about worrying that She's traumatizing Nova the same way her parents did her. If she was that concerned, she'd quit running off on her! She'd have made more of an effort with outpatient! It just breaks my heart to hear that Nova is clinging to her side and begging Cate not to leave her...and Cate just laughs like it's some cute toddler quirk. No, you dumb fuck, the child is terrified of being abandoned!

I thought Drew was coddling Amber in regards to her lack of a presence in Leah's life. REAL moms don't GET to just check out when they're going through a bad time. We don't turn to alcohol. We soldier on. And, while we try to protect our kids, sometimes they do see us have bad days. That's real. That's raw. 

 

Ryan is full of one bullshit excuse after another. Can't do hair follicle test, it goes back too long. Can't find a therapist, I'm on TV (QUIT!). Don't need one anyway, I've got Dumb, Dumber, and Dumbest. 

And Mack claims there's no alcohol in their home? Probably BS, but doesn't really matter when he can just guzzle Larry's beer. 

I did think it was interesting to finally hear that it wasn't any injury or pain that got him started on drugs. And that the doctors who prescribed to him are in jail. 

But, yea, he totally won't go out because he KNOWS Maci came with receipts.

Loved Mac saying everyone else’s wedding was portrayed as a fairytale but MTV screwed us.  So tell me Mac of the 2 others weddings on this show (Cate/Ty; Maci/Taylor) – did Ty/Taylor drink so heavily on their wedding day that their groomsmen had to tell them to slow down bc they needed to be sober to say vows in 30 min; did their groomsmen have to harass them to write said vows; when harassed re vows did either say “I don’t care – doesn’t matter what I say”; did either have dip in their mouth up at the altar; did either spend their wedding reception asking their new bride how much everything cost and why she got a real cake; did either start the first dance only to stop in 2 min and say ok let’s stop now and have their new bride tell them, no we have to finish it . . . . There’s a reason your wedding looked like a train wreck.  MTV didn’t impose voiceovers – you both said these things and looked this way . . . . .

And why doesn’t Dr. Drew ever ask the “ultimate” questions of any of these people? Ryan – WHY would you agree to piss in cup but not hair follicle? Is it bc you can fool a urine test and/or have clean urine if you stop using for a week yet a hair follicle test will show if you’ve used at any time for months and clearly you’re high!? Or Catelynn – WHY did you go back to rehab a second time for SIX weeks without first even trying to adjust meds or work with a therapist at home? If you really felt unsafe adjusting meds at home, couldn’t you have flown to Arizona and stayed at/near the facility and started taking the new dose for say 4-5 days and flown back instead of SIX weeks? And Catelynn – you’ve mentioned before that you need the “structure” of rehab.  What other ways can an adult get structure – have you thought about being a full time student or a full time employee where you wouldn’t have time to sit around lamenting Carly and your mom’s druggie ways and your dad leaving 10+ years ago?

And love that as Maci was walking out to the couch for the session with Ryan, Larry goes “get him girl.”  LOL they (esp Larry) want to hate her.  They really really do, but in their heart of hearts they don’t hate her and know she is generally right when it comes to parenting.

I agree that jen would love to see them together, I'm really hoping that comment was directed at Mackenzie. I totally believe that Ryan deletes text responses from maci and tells her (& his family) that maci won't respond.  That's why he was against having any type of discussion with her & Dr drew. He knows maci has proof.

Interesting that MTV chose to air clips of Ryan saying he was going to hurt someone if he didn't get Bentley and that he would just show up at their house. Providing further evidence for the upcoming court date???

Not to defend that scumbag, but i don't think that's what he meant. I thought he was saying that Catelynn's worries and fears about leaving Nova are solely HER feelings...that it doesn't mean Nova really feels that way.

I am on the west coast so, I have to wait to watch, but I have to comment on this part.

It has bothered me deeply how Cate is so non-chalant when it comes to Nova. In last week's episode when Nova was having her meltdown in the car on the way to school, Cate just brushed it off and ignored her child's feelings. Watching Nova have major apprehension about going to school made me think how many times did Cate have those same kind of moments and demanded attention from her spouse? How is it Cate can have all of these supposed moments of dread, but never once thinks that maybe her own child might be dealing with her own anxiety issues?

It really worries me that Amber looks so much thinner at this point in pregnancy vs her normal, especially knowing how much she drops when using drugs. Tbh she really doesn’t seem like she does when shes strung out, so I’m not saying that she is using at this point but I do find her seeming weight loss weird. 

I cant with Cate, it fills me with so much rage knowing as she spouts how much she needs the structure of inpatient and how important leaving her family was that the ONLY thing that got her to leave Arizona was that damn mtv couch.

I dislike Farrah and I hate defending her but.. well she didn’t want to be around Amber since Amber tried to hit her, and then you guys all play mean girls around her.
