Where is Max's mom? Lucas and his sister are sitting vigil at Max's bedside while she lies in a coma, but her mom is nowhere to be seen? The only times I remember her being shown this season was in one of Max's trances, when she hugs Max to comfort her - then turns into Vecna, and in one of Max's "happy memories" which is her hugging Max before she turns into Vecna (not sure why that was a happy memory when it wasn't really Max's mom). They couldn't have shown her outside the room privately talking to a doctor, or getting coffee at a hallway vending machine, or sleeping in a chair in the corner of the hospital room while Lucas was reading to Max? Sure, they have briefly shown the parents of the other kids where they are largely oblivious to everything going on, but none of their kids was lying in the hospital in a coma. Her absence just seems strange to me.

If IIRC, Brenner said the collar was being used as a precaution and he wouldn't activate it unless he needed to. In the end, Brenner unlocked the collar so she could remove it, but it was never activated and that's why El was able to take the helicopter down.

I can't stand the way Christina Haack-El Moussa-Anstead-Hall uptalks in the Jacuzzi bath remodel commercials. Every sentence sounds like she is constantly asking questions. "Jacuzzi bath remodel? combines safety and style? so you don't have to compromise, because wherever you're at in life, you deserve to start? and end your day? in a spectacular space? designed just for you." 😖

After watching this episode I had to check and see if the title was actually: "That Was...It?"

My husband does not watch the show but knows I watch it. Yesterday he said, "I saw something online saying 'This is Us' will bring back the 'infamous nude scene'...there's a nude scene?? I've gotta see this!" He thought it was female nudity 🙄 When I told him it's about 3 seconds of a male's bare butt, he was no longer interested. But if what he read is true, they will have old scenes in the final episode.

Rebecca: "Miguel? Where's Miguel??" I know, Rebecca. I want him back, too. 😢 I was annoyed by how much everybody kept talking about "the town". Doesn't this town have the best coffee? The best Chinese food? The best people? The best air?? I kept thinking, "Shut up about the damn town."

Watching Jack's mom boil the hot dogs brought me back to my childhood. My mom always boiled our hot dogs. I didn't know there was another way to cook them. The first time I cooked hot dogs after my husband and I married, I boiled them. He said, "What the hell did you do to these??" We have grilled or fried our hot dogs ever since. 😂 As for hot dogs with tomato soup, that soup looked awfully thick and I wonder if Jack's mom was kind of using it as a sauce for the hot dogs? It was Heinz, and when I think of Heinz I think of ketchup. My mother-in-law is Italian and uses Campbell's tomato soup to make pasta sauce (it's actually pretty good). Maybe using canned tomato soup for sauces was a "thing" in the 60's? I hope Kevin being around Cassidy in next week's episode helps make him realize that he DOES love Madison. Not a fan of Cassidy.

Please tell us it didn't result in a scar that blew up your parents' marriage...

How would Adult Little Jack even know the Big Green Egg blew up his parents' marriage? How would that conversation even go? Little Jack: Mommy, why did you and Daddy get divorced? Kate: Well, you know the Big Green Egg? Daddy wasn't paying enough attention to you while he was smoking some meat, and you got too close and burned your head. Yeah, I was there too and probably should have been watching you better, seeing as how Daddy was busy cooking and handling raw meat and had his back to you while he was cooking, but I was preoccupied thinking of things to criticize your dad about...and, well, accidents happen but it was definitely Daddy's fault, and now you have a small scar on your head hidden underneath your hair and you should let our divorce and the smell of cooking meat haunt you forever. 🤦🏻‍♀️

I wonder if she broke her contract with TLC, or if they made her sign a non-disclosure. Can't keep up the Sister Wives charade when one of them puts out a tell-all. I'd love to hear from Christine what the TRUE story is, though. Girl would make a killing putting out a book.

Has anyone seen the Harrelson's Own commercials? It's a CBD oral spray created by Woody Harrelson's brother, Brett. I see it a lot on the Buzzr channel (I love old game shows). Anyway, I am reasonably sure that the people in the commercial are just actors playing parts. One of them is "Jackie, at home mom". The "head-scratcher" about this commercial is that she is clearly wearing a wig (see what I did there? 😉). I want to know why? To hide her true identity? To make her look more "mom-ish" for the commercial? I don't know why it's so intriguing to me, but I have even Googled "Why is Jackie in the Harrelson's Own commercial wearing a wig?" Shockingly, no results. 😂

I read through a few pages back and couldn't find much about HungryRoot, so maybe nobody else is as annoyed by the woman randomly singing about how "HungryRoot came throughhhhh..." for her, while she shows us her fridge full of HungryRoot items. Makes me cringe every time I hear it.

I hope we find out that the real reason Madison has no family, friends, or discernable job is because she is a CIA agent. I know it's a longshot (but is it?? I mean, Laurel came back to life and stuff!), but I think it would make her, and the show, far more interesting! 😁

I missed recording this. Does anybody know when new episodes are available to watch on the NBC app, without linking to my TV provider? I would rather not, because I only downloaded the app to watch this episode. Against my better judgement. I think I'm hate-watching the show at this point.

During the scenes with the Vietnamese grandfather/granddaughter, I kept wondering in the back of my mind if they had any relation or ties to the Asian man working with/for Randall. I am too lazy to research what his name was or whether he was Vietnamese. Or is it that I don't care about this storyline? Maybe a little of both.
