At the 1:27 mark when Catelynn is explaining how she is struggling and having anxiety in the morning, forcing herself to get up in the morning, and this is the response she gets from Tyler: "It's gotta be something with me."  

That is the same shit his mother pulled on him when he was expressing his feelings to her several episodes back. 

Then, Catelynn says it is her inner child. She starts mentioning April and her drinking and all that she endured. But wait. Cate just tweeted the other day she wouldn't change a damn thing about her childhood and she added a bunch of hearts and smiling emojis. 

Damn these people. I just can't take them seriously.

Yeah I noticed her with it when she was in the car in a few episodes. She used to smoke but with three kids I'm glad she down graded. Now my ass still smokes. Alone in my sunroom.

Ever since I read the episode description I have been looking forward to this.  FINALLY  Amber getting dumped on by Leah! Yes!

Amber won't be able to understand how a 9 year old girl would rather go to a slumber party with other 9 year old girls instead of a massage or buying a train for a new baby she will see maybe twice a year (my bad, 3 times). Which reminds me of a question, "Does Leah even have a room at Ambers? R there clothes or toys or anything there that would make Leah feel like it is Her room? "

God knows I have seen Matt's stupid collectibles all over the place, but I don't believe I have ever see one item that looks like it would belong to a little girl. Remember when Amber was so gung-ho about wanting Leah on a school night...what happened to that..she is not even pretending to want custody anymore. POOR LEAH..such a sweet child,  I hope she goes to parties on every Amber weekend.

But from the previews Amber looks like she going to try to blame Gary for plotting against her.  What a bitch.

Whooooooooah. Did anyone else think they were looking at Maci and not her mother when the Maci preview first starting playing?? Maci, slow down on them drinks, you’re aging fast!!

Catelynne needs structure. She’s the type of person that will quickly feel depressed without a sense of structure or routine. In fact, a lot of these cast members get most of their depression for having too much time on their hands and nothing to motivate them to keep moving daily. Sit on the couch and wallow on the negative instead of being proactive with life. 

When I first moved to my new place in the beginning of March I was feeling extremely depressed because I no longer had my normal routine and things were quickly stressing me out more than they would normally.

Once my routine started coming back into play I started feeling like my old self. Catelynn forcing herself to put on makeup and straighten her hair each day may seem minuscule but it’s a start. I’m over her BS though, she’s not going to use any post spa lessons and will revert back to her old ways STAT! Catelynn is pissing away golden opportunities to get better but she doesn’t follow through with the advice.

She wants to have a fun sleepover with her friends and not shop around with her aunt and Andre the giant while her aunt makes a huge scene requiring special attention due to her morning sickness. Which reminds me of the episode where she’s telling Leah about how she’s a real woman and a strong boss and hopes Leah becomes one.

Okay. Um, REAL strong women take care of their children, manage households without other mothers coming over to do it for them and make it to the bathroom to puke all while having 9-5 jobs requiring them to exert energy.

Amber, you have NEVER proven to us what a strong woman you are. You are the epitome of a WEAK woman. You give up on everything you start with little to no effort. You chose drugs over your daughter. You chose a man men over quality time with your daughter. 

You’re so weak a cold keeps you in bed loaded up with NyQuil and Netflix as you cancel your weekend with Leah.

You’re so weak you stood your daughter up over a crappy breakup while hooking up with someone new - simultaneously getting knocked up.

Relatively recently there was an article from Amber that outlined this exact scenario, that as Leah was getting older she was starting to choose to hang out with her friends over Amber and that was ok, and how she missed her but understood, even when that came out it felt disgenuous, but I suspected it was just because Amber welcomed the break. Now this and that article seem like they could line up in real time (although that’s always hard to say with editing) so I wonder if Amber is trying to save face. What in the hell did Amber expect to happen, for the last 9 years Leah has been an afterthought to Amber, so now she has made her couch bed and has to sit in it. Even in normal relationships this happens, but there are clear rules and boundaries, Amber cancels every time she gets a hangnail, what’s Leah supposed to do, sit at home and wait and see if Amber is going to send her driver over for her? Parents trashtalking is bad enough but when Amber puts an actual guilt trip on Leah herself makes me furious (although I don’t really know if she says anything directly to Leah at this point, but I’m recalling the ornament fiasco). Truth is even if Gary intended on cutting Amber out (which I don’t believe he is) Amber would be making it super easy. Leah’s at the age where she’s looking for connection, and becoming more independent, so Ambers quick ice cream trips and ugly dresses to try to bribe her aren’t going to work anymore.

I was going to say the exact same thing Kazu. I remember being a kid and getting SO JAZZED when a friend would have a slumber party and it would cover both Saturday and Sunday afternoons! Mostly because it meant that I got to eat “different food” (does anyone else remember food tasting better at friends homes?) but also it got me out of my fucked up home life for a bit.

I mean the dr. gives her the option of trying outpatient therapy and switching meds under the guidance of a local dr. and she says -- nope -- I need inpatient therapy for a month and a half!? Not even -- ok we're rich so I'd like to fly to AZ to see THAT dr and stay for 2 days in a hotel to make sure I handle the meds ok. But -- sorry Tyler, deal with Nova who will "manage" at the age of 3, I'm outta here??

Why does Tyler stay with her? I did agree with him when he was talking to his sister and said Butch used to tell them he could do what he wanted bc they had a good mom -- i.e. a mom at home. Catelynn is doing the same -- Tyler's around to deal with Nova, so I can leave and nah -- I don't really need to say bye to my toddler.

So I take it it's the beginning of the end for Mac and Ryan? I mean at the end we hear him say -- I can't do this for 9 months, let's separate for 9 months. Yeah Ryan, you're separate for 9 months and then you'll really come back when the baby is here bc you care so deeply about being a father. See Exhibit 1 - Bentley. What did Ryan mumble to Mac at the dr when the dr left?? I assume it was something snarky but have no idea. And is Larry delusional -- he's soooo happy about this baby, this is why Ryan went thru his drug problem and now that he's all healed, the baby will make him even better?? Jen looks legit worried bc she knows how her son is.

It's so obvious that Cate looks at Nova and all she thinks of is Carly and what coulda woulda shoulda.  She doesn't seem to have any maternal love or nurture towards Nova at all. I have seen babysitters interact with more compassion and love. Cate doesn't smile at Nova or do any affection that's not perfunctory. Very strange detachment to her own daughter. My sons are adults and I still get giddy to visit with them and hug them long and tight. Sure seems like Cate doesn't want to live that life around those who really know her. She prefers starting over with a new life and new people that do not know all her dirty laundry. She is not interested in self help. She just wants to erase her past and be someone new. She can't be around Tyler cuz there's no faking it, he sees thru her and knowing this makes her feel sh*tty about herself.  It's far easier to just run away. She is a very selfish and narcissistic person. 

 

Ryan's family is completely delusional if they think he is sober. He is just gross. How Mack could be near him with all that crud in his mouth and his nasty attitude to even think about sexy time confounds me.  Geesh, good luck to them. I see a huge heartbreak coming straight at everyone associated with that loser.
