After her explosive encounter with Erika, Teddi worries about seeing her at Lisa Rinna's luncheon. Kyle’s séance conjures up some unexpected guests, but the group gets a bigger shock when Erika reveals information about her past. Lisa Vanderpump is struck by sudden tragedy at home.

Portia had the cap this season with AW and Mauricio dropped the cap and put on a T-Shirt with The Agency

I could have sworn the first time we saw Rinna's puppy - where she, Harry and Amelia are in their backyard Rocky was much bigger. Especially noticeable when Rinna picked up the puppy to put on her lap.

Yes.  I buy clothes from QVC.  I live in a rural area.  My choices are limited. 

Don't judge me.  

I give up.  Rinner is winning me over.  I too don't believe that if I had a past life, it wasn't exciting.   Just your average, ordinary indentured servant. 

I'm unsure about psychics. I don't believe nor disbelieve.  When we began wrestling with the end of life discussion for my last dog Oso, I had a dream where my best friend came to me and told me when Oso would die.

As we neared that date, it became clear, it was over.  I told Stupendous Man about the dream and we agreed to make the appointment for that day.  And it's the only time I've euthanized a fur baby that I knew it was the perfect time.

Was it really Sandy?  Or my subconscious allowing me to let someone decide?  Shrugs shoulders.

Like Rinner.  I think it's nice either way.

Erika's FOS! I just can't stand her now! People think it's great that she talks positively about being rich and spending so much on her appearance; NOT ME! It's just overdone in so many ways! ;-)

This episode cracked me up. There were several instances where I laughed really hard. That hasn't happened in awhile. Much needed levity. 

 

Lois is adorable, and I liked how cool the other chicks were with her. I loved how she said she feels 30 and Kyle said she feels 89! Me too, Kyle! I also kind of want to have a stroke now, so I can be happy all the time. (I jest!)

 

Dorit barely annoyed me tonight. Really, the only time was when she scoffed at Teddi's apology because it was over the phone. She has TRIED talking to you in person a million times and you just go off. Take the apology!

But I was actually living for her faces when the psychic was informing everyone about her Papa God phone. Hoo boy, that woman was a hoot! (A hoot? AM I an 89-year-old woman?) 

But the best part was hearing about Erika 3.0 aka The Spanish Prince. And then Rinna's speculations about HER former life as a farmer or prostitute. I was dying! 

 

I'm glad Erika apologized. I was worried she was going to keep playing nice, but acting like nothing had ever happened. Now THAT would have been pretend amnesia. 

 

So sorry to hear about Pink Dog. The love Lisa and Ken have for their dogs is truly touching.

It really turns my stomach to see Erica at any kind of "girls empowerment" movement, especially when she's crowing about how she loves to talk to young women about their journeys....how it's going to be a "struggle" and it's going to be hard.  Yeah, right, until you're a cocktail waitress at the right bar where the right elderly wealthy gentleman has taken a shine to you.  Then you marry said elderly gentleman and suddenly...your struggle is over!  From sheer perseverance you have risen to the top and have a crew of make-up and costume crew on hand 24/7 who can transform you into a woman you weren't before you got married.  And you now have a career as a pop star? (In limited markets) HOW is that message empowering any young woman???

I could NOT stop laughing during this sequence.  Dorit and Lisa were HILARIOUS.

I wouldn't have wanted to be a prince, though, if that meant I was kidnapped and kept on a ship forever.  Gosh.  That sounded horrible, but I laughed and laughed during that, too!!!!

I can never tell if Housewives who are so obviously being cold-read are pulling these "oh! my! GOD!" faces for real, or if they're feigning enthusiasm and going over the top like they do over Lisa's dusters -- since those psychics are clearly being brought in by their long-time Housewife friend or regular customer as some promo...but I can't imagine why they'd play along that much for someone who isn't their actual castmate. Maybe they are just really, really dumb.

I also find the cold reads themselves just really odd, over the top grifter behavior. I've done a handful of cheap psychic readings that were miles more authentic-feeling than any of these shows. No questions, no obvious fishing, just straight-forward tarot spreads (I read my own cards from time to time so I can at least gauge the semi-accurate interpretations of the cards), and I find that so much more fun and interesting than someone pretending my dead relative whose name was like Nelson or Nellie or Natalie or Norman is in the room with us.
