Just sounds like a huge lack of creativity to me. These hacks are paid well. Create a new villain. Joe Mascolo was Stefano, implanted memories or not. Not only is the premise ridiculous (IMO!) but damned disrespectful to the late Mr. Mascolo for all the years he put into that character.

Yes, I think I read somewhere that Rafe and Hope split because Abe fires her re the JJ thing, and makes Rafe the commish.  And then they squabble, and Rafe thinks he will never measure up to Bo, and Hope agrees with him.  Also, something to do with her continuing to stall the wedding.  So at least the Sami boink is after they split.

Why the hell does dumbass hide? Unless the ring thing is AFTER and Rafe cheats? Or... (Ick.) Hope decides she was wrong about the dig about not living up to Bo (she isn't) and wants Rafe's useless ass back. They plan to tie the knot, but Rafe has the secret of boffing his ex, Sami (and Hope's niece by marriage to Bo - again, ick!) over his head then. Sigh.

If that is the case, let that explode and end these two permanently.

I really am loving all of these awesome Will spoilers,but please tell me that Belle's also going to interact with Claire, her own daughter and not just tell Will upsetting news?  And I pray to the gods, the old and the new, that there won't be another triangle involving Ciara and Claire and a guy.  I like Tripp and Claire and Ciara can stay safely in Theo's obit.    

And I wonder if Will's kissing Paul has to do with the news, like his finding out he cheated on Sonny with Paul--now that is a doozy for anyone to take in.

Well, it has to be Paul, how could you choose someone who doesn't remember you?  Sonny will choose Paul, that is until Will inevitably recovers his memories.

Exactly, Wilson will divorce. Will will recover his memories as Paulson gets married.  Will will get with the new guy that is coming.  Sonny will be jealous.  Wilson will pine for each other.. Paul may go dark to keep his husband.  Lucas did tell him to stop being a nice guy.. This is going to be a bumpy ride and I am here for it..

Just chiming in to say how messed-up it is that Sami would have Ben act out choking Will. It feels like she can't let go of the idea that Will doesn't remember her and that's what's motivating this.

In any case, how traumatic! Will, memories or no, won't forgive her for this...

I may sound like a broken record, but the show really needs to convince Peter Reckell to come back.  If I didn't know better, I'd think that the reference to Bo and Rafe never living up to him is foreshadowing of his return, but I fear that it's not and PR will never come back.  The new writing team should be begging him, IMO.

I'd love him back, but last I recall, Peter Reckell lives in Nashville with his wife. Bo has been successfully recast (even if it was with pervy RKK). A part of me wonders if he can be again. But even if not and if Reckell won't come back, hire another actor and make sure he and Kristian Alfonso have some life to them. I know some argue that was Aidan, but the Bo thing was still always hanging over that for the crappy way Bo was written out. It is what it is.

This is different because Bo is definitively dead (for now - hey, it's a soap). But there has been closure, unlike before. Get someone in and try it. Because Rafe, as far as I'm concerned, is a non starter. And I am not opposed to Hope having a new love in good circumstances. Bo had two. Then again, when Bo was with Carly and Billie (even if I dislike Billie), the writing was so much better. So Kristian Alfonso also has that against her, unlike Bo's life after Hope.

Maybe, just maybe, if Hope and Rafe break up, Rafe could actually get a personality while he fights to get her back?  Supposedly he's so madly in love with her, but we just don't see it.  Maybe a break-up is what the writers need to actually give their relationship some life and a purpose?  I don't know, I'm grasping at straws here...  (And for the record, I don't hate them together, I'm basically indifferent.  They are fine, but boring, so I can see why others don't like them, but that's not enough for me to hate them.  They are just background noise, when I feel like Hope should still be front and center as one of the main characters.)

Christopher can totally pull off evil. He was amazingly juicy on H50 in the villain role. Writing is why Paul is boring...not b/c of Christopher. 

I'm interested to see why Will kisses Paul. Maybe Belle's information is about the cheating and he tries to remember that way? I'm all for Horita V2.0 to test out the Chandler/Christopher chemistry.  ALL FOR IT. 

Remember: Will (as EJ) has been closeted the past 2 years and presumably pretty near celibate.

Roman, Marlena and Hope did not have  love interests during their missing years. Steve was the only one who had one in Ava.  Kayla was celibate as well for 16 years in LA..

After the dust settles and Will regains his memory, and after certain plot contrivances keep Sonny and Will apart, it would be cool for a cute country singer from Memphis to play in Salem, and even cooler for that singer to look out in the crowd, recognize a familiar face and shout out "EJ, where have you been?!"

My personal opinion is that the biggest issue with any Hope pairing is Kristian Alfonso. I think she is a terrible actress. I never feel anything when she is onscreen. I find her very cold as a performer. I'm not saying she is completely at fault for Hope/Rafe not working, because he is like a block of wood.

Regardless, the show really needs to give up on Hope/Rafe and find Hope a real romance. Sure they could recast Bo but I'd rather they try something different.

Of course that won't happen until she agrees to marry Rafe and then finds out about he and Sami at the ceremony. I'm sure that's what will happen because soap writing.

J.J.'s "unexpected move" must be offering to leave the force so Hope can get her job back.

Looks like Sami leaves a week from Wednesday.

I'm interested in seeing these J.J./Eric scenes.

I wonder what Doug's warning to Rafe will be?

What could Gabi offer Eve?  And what information does Paul find on her about which Brady busts her?

I assume the most important advice he could give him would be NEVER MARRY YOUR STEPDAUGTER.  And kill yourself if you do.  And, resist thinking you can sing, at any cost, do NOT.

Oh, and make sure to check everything is where it's supposed to be before zipping up - that would explain a LOT about why Rafe always looks slightly pained.....
