As I was always taught about eating rich foods like that:

Especially Amy, who needs to control the weight she puts on those hip and knee joints (as my surgeon told me when I had my knee and hip replaced after losing 100 lbs 15 YRS ago:  "For every pound of body weight you carry, it produces 7 LBS of pressure on your joints!"), should practice "healthy eating."

I notice that Amy's skin looks splotchy and sallow.  Chris looks like he's put on weight since their marriage.

I just can't stand to watch Zach's behavior around that poor dog. It's really awful. If they don't love the dog and can't manage to find time to walk him or even give him some affection then let someone else take him and provide the kind of home he deserves. Zach  does not like dogs and his treatment of Murphy is appalling...what a miserable person Zach is. Who doesn't like a Bernese Mountain Dog?? Honestly, they are the most loving, sweet dogs ever.

Boy when Zack was going on and on about home-cooked meals, presumably cooked by either Amy or Tori.  I wonder if he has shown any interest in pitching in on the cooking or just expects to be waited on.

Waited on of course! That's the way he and Jeremy were brought up. They never did a thing for themselves...they were waited on and never even had summer jobs when they were teenagers. Zach did some soccer stuff after high school and Jeremy? Never worked at all except with his own photography "business"...the only thing those two princes seem to be proficient in is making babies.

Far be it from me to defend Zach, but I wonder if those aren't scars from where his shunt was inserted to treat his achon-related hydrocephalus?  In that case, hair might not grow in those places.  The logical thing to do would be to wear it a bit longer to "combover" the bald spots, but this is Zach we're talking about.  At least he finally fixed his gray tooth, and for that we can all be grateful!

In the camping episode, Jackson pointed to Zach's tooth and said, "Dada, you got somethin' right there..."  It was just its usual discoloration.  That's probably when TLC suggested it and offered to pay for the procedure.  It wouldn't have been covered by insurance, and we all know Zach is cheap!

Having had my share of cosmetic dental restorations, I can say without hesitation that "yes" I'm sure TLC funded the upgrade as these procedures are very costly!! ....and,  YES, I know Zach is very cheap and it wouldn't make any difference to him (apparently) if his front tooth was discolored or not.

The bald spots on his head (that I believe another poster mentioned were due to his shunt surgery) will no doubt remain as to remedy that situation he'd either have to get hair "plugs" or grow his hair longer, neither of which he's apparently prepared to do.

Childrens' table manners irk me in general. Why don't parents teach their children how to eat? Jackson should be given smaller utensils and be taught how to use them during meals. Poor Lilah is off by herself; not placed next to her mom or dad. She needs to be fed. I highly doubt that these children eat enough due to not being fed and/or being shown HOW to eat. Hands all over the food and messy fingers. I was taught how to eat and taught my own children how to feed themselves. Jackson needs a booster seat when at the table.

Jackson was four when the current episodes were filmed.  He didn't need to be fed.  Taught how to eat with properly sized utensils yes.  Lilah at two developmentally shouldn't be fed, but yes assisted and strongly encouraged to use utensils.  I noticed the mess and using her hands and unless she's seriously developmentally delayed, her parents need to get it together for that child.

Neither child looks like they are starving from not being fed. They could use better table manners, yes, but not getting enough to eat? No.

I suspect there’s a lot of medical issues with all three children. They’re just not telling as well they shouldn’t. 

Amy and Matt only had Zack issues when raising their four. Zack and Tori have three children plus Zack who could have any number of things happen health wise.

You're right, that's not a home and it's not acceptable. Earlier in the thread people asked about the change in terms and the speculation was that it was because some people had shelter, even if it was minimal. That's not the reason. It's because "homeless" is usually a derogatory term.

My knee jerk reaction was "No, it's not," but when I thought about it, yeah, it is. I hear "homeless" and I don't think of a divorced mother living in her car in a parking lot while working several part time jobs to feed her kids. I think of a person wearing multiple layers of dirty, ragged clothes, pushing a grocery cart filled with trashy stuff and mumbling incoherently. Both kinds of houselessness exist and the idea is not to stigmatize either of them. We can't remedy the problem just by providing shelter. Most unhoused people need services beyond housing. The point of the change is to get us thinking about these people as people rather a problem and then working with them to fix the situation.

I'm not advocating for the change in terms. I just wanted to get the real reason for it out there so people have the facts to make the decision for themselves.

To me an apartment or condo is not a house so it’s confusing to say houseless when referring to homeless.  Maybe the term should be people without a stable residence.

I think it's not in the sense of a house, the free standing structure. It's related to housing as a synonym for shelter, the way, say, student housing can be a dorm or apartments.

He seems to have a lot of small growths all over his face. I had a friend who had that condition especially on her neck. But yes he needs to see a dermatologist or a plastic surgeon to see about removing these. They are most likely not dangerous but so unsightly. My husband had one skin tag over one of his eyes. He went to a dermatologist and had it removed with no problems.
