October 4th. Hopefully it will be as good as the current season of NYC, and not as much of a letdown as the current season of OC is.

Well, I just watched less than 5 minutes of the clips from the upcoming season.  I won't be tuning in.  Too much screaming, threatening and trashiness.  Oh, and I don't want to see Danielle again.

I had to laugh when whoever it was said "punta" instead of "puttana" when asked the Italian word for whore. And "This is Margaret, she beats to her own drum." I learn so much from these shows. Prostitution whore, juvial, etc. Keep them coming!

I am not so sure about the Melissa/Teresa alliance after hearing Teresa say Melissa "is not a real Gorga" and watching Melissa go off in a huff, but of course, this could just be another tempest in a teacup, so I guess we'll have to wait for the dust to settle to know for sure.

I call editing shenanigans on the 'she's a Gorga by marriage'. Teresa and Melissa are still putting on a united front so I think this is a case of a preview just amping up the drama to gather interest. I also don't buy that Joe bought a restaurant without telling Melissa.

I don't think I'll be tuning in to this season. There's a lot of fighting and that's just not entertaining to me.

Looks like an awful mess with a lot of pointless, producer driven arguments for the sake of the cameras.

Teresa is a fool. If Melissa is only a Gorga by marriage, then what does she consider her late mother Antoinette? 

I don't regret having taken this show off my DVR a few years ago.

Ugh.  The new one from last season who talks so much, I don't look forward to her again.  Or the other new one last year who never says anything and whose ex husband was redoing her house.  Irritating and boring.  Ugh.  I hope it's as good as the NY housewives were!

Finally saw the preview.  Not gonna lie.  I gave up most of the last few seasons of NJ just catching an episode here and there.......but they just dragged me back in.  I can handle the screaming and fighting as long as it's not about the same old shit.

Yeah, I feel the same way. With Jackie gone and Danielle back, plus with this new HW, it finally feels like the dynamics between the HWs have shifted, and it hopefully won't be the same old stuff rehashed again.

I haven't watched this series since the table flip season.  I have always felt bad for Tre's daughters.  I may tune in, just to see them.  But I have no time for the trademark shriek that this show relies on for entertainment.

I always look forward to RHONJ because I grew up there (well not franklin Lakes but oddly further south from the same town as the trashy twins and Amber and her horrible husband) 

im watching the season 2 marathon on now and realize that Teresa was a lot more likeable before they brought her family on.  But potato-face Jacqueline and her potato-face daughter were always consistently annoying.

i like Siggy and Delores and am glad they'll be back.  Siggy is the type who would annoy in person but on tv she's amusing.  Like a sitcom character.  Delores I just like because she's hot and likes big dogs :-)

who is this blonde pigtail lady?  They should have brought Danielle on full time and made Pigtails a 'friend of'

I agree. I watch different franchises for different reasons. I don't like a ton of fighting on NY or BH. But on Jersey? Where our first season ended in "prostitution whore"??? Bring it! They do trashy right.

Danielle is AWFUL, IMO - but she makes damned good TV. I'm so glad she's back.

Me too - and I did like her kids and hope they are doing well.  I used to think Danielle was the worst until she left and Teresa became a huge raving law-breaking narcissist with a victim complex.  I hope to see her and Danielle eventually turn on each other, that would be train-wreck TV at it's best.

Teresa was always a law breaking narcissist. She and Juice-ball had committed the bulk of their crimes before they ever got involved with Bravo. Andy talked about how Teresa and Joe were the last to sign their contracts in season 1. He also said they had a ton of questions about what (footage, recordings, and notes/other written material) could or couldn't be turned over to law enforcement. I suspect that the victim complex was already there, but got significantly worse because of the show.

And she got worse when her family came on the show because they knew the real truth about them both. Knew they had been spending money and swindling folks for a long time. I remember Rich saying once that he had tried to talk to them years before about the things they were doing and that Teresa got mad at him. He said that was the reason Tre didn't like him.
