Good point! But no matter if Heric contacted TLC or it was the other way around, somebody somewhere thought it was a mutually worthwhile collaboration.

That video looked extremely shady and unprofessional. I've seen more professional looking shoots from my film school classmates. It wasn't a terribly large crew either, pretty small for a "professional" shoot really. And 35 twitter followers is weirdly low. I barely use twitter and have way more, somehow. It seems super fake. The crew probably worked for TLC.

I was happy to see that Danielle's kickass daughter Faith is still alive. Did anyone else notice the treadmill in the background of the apartment? With a baby walker on it?

Pao's hair extensions are made of straw, as are pretty much all of her arguments. She conflates "sexy" with "skanky." Which is too bad, because she is so much cuter with no makeup. She also mistakes "low-rent and trashy" with "professional."

No lie the one thing that bugged me the most about this episode, was during the music video part he kept saying she would be on a black bed that's why they wanted the white lingerie but the bed was grey....not black, don't know why it just bugged me to no end lol....

I couldn't understand why they had her bring her own wardrobe if they were going to provide an outfit for her to wear. They clearly knew her size and were prepared for her. Meanwhile, even though the cringey scenes with her showing her outfits and trying them on were 100% for the show, if someone hired me to model in a video and told me (a) to bring my own wardrobe and (b) meet him in hotel the day before to do a little fashion show for him, I'd have some questions about the legitimacy of the opportunity.

I am so conflicted by modeling as a profession in general, and especially the type of modeling Pao wants to do. Although I get that it's a legit job and does require a certain skillset, and it's one of few careers where women make vastly more money than men, watching Paola get treated like a piece of meat was disturbing. The back and forth about whether she was exposing enough of her body, and explaining to her that her role was to be the eye candy was just gross. I'd have a hard time being proud of that kind of work. And it just seems so...so...soul-less.

OMG I had the same experience! Calling my best friend crying a month before the wedding and she telling me it will be ok.  What followed was a very tough and lonely marriage.  I was always trying to 'fix' it, with countless therapists and books.  We finally split, actually on our 20th anniversary and though it was devastating on some level, it was mainly a huge relief.  

I hope you can find the happiness you deserve, whatever it takes!

This is actually a real thing in non-fashion modeling since most people own something they look especially great in.  Though I'm surprised they wouldn't give her more direction than just "something sexy"- if you want her in lingerie, ask her to bring lingerie.

That's just how films portrayed Tourette's for many years, not a great representation.  Similarly, autism is not characterized by wanting to watch Jeopardy at 7 and counting toothpicks.

The earlier poster was spot on when she said Pedro sees himself and his family as perfect.  Pedro says the problem is that Chantel argues with his family, and Chantel's family argues with him.  Not one drop of the problem is the fault of him or his family. They're perfect.

Those bitches are so scary and evil, I hate them! Pedro's an ahole for being so blind to them.  I wish she'd leave him there in his country but being young you think it will all work out...and the added pressure of a tv show actually showcasing it all, there's no way I'd even think of backing out!  The thought of disappointing my family alone was enough for me to stay in a tough marriage, I can't imagine this huge spotlight on top of it.

Tourette's manifests itself in many ways and varying degrees of severity.  She just has involuntary tics - the wrinkling of her face and the sniffing among them.  But others do have uncontrollable verbal outbursts.

Yeah, people can be pretty weird about lingerie vs swimsuits.  I remember needing something from the other end of the house and I streaked through it in my bra and panties. My dad happened to see me and had a hissy fit.  I said, "Dad, relax, my bikini shows more skin than this and you've never gotten upset about that."

It makes more sense if Pao's "limit" is that lingerie is fine, provided that it covers more skin than a bikini.

That is one very excellent point. I never thought about it because I always wore nice lingerie when I was much skinnier whether I was in the mood for sex or not.  I wore it for me  because it made me feel good.

I'm not particularly sure she's mentally ill. But she is selfish, manipulative and controlling. And the sex slave commentary is spot on.

I completely agree that she would take him back in a heartbeat, but it still appears pretty evident that he came here with the intent to simply get a green card and the marriage was a means to an end.   Her continued desire/love/longing for him is quite sad actually.

I really hate to see any couple get divorced, even though couples like Dani and Mo really needed to. Pedro and Chantel would probably be fine if their respective families butted out. They would definitely benefit from counseling with a bilingual counselor as one poster pointed out; it's a capital idea.

I completely disagree. Chantel is young, immature, hasn't started her career, has no interest in compromises in an adult relationship. Pedro has similar issues although not as bad.

This marriage is doomed and they are wasting their time.

The show itself might not increase his audience but Paola's social media presence certainly would. The show was just an added perk.

I wish people would stop commenting on Pao's "fat". She's a beautiful girl and in latin culture, a little meat on your bones is a good thing. And I feel like  anyone who didn't know her and saw her standing in a supermarket, bar, or beach would say, "whooooa!"

Where was Pao's concern about Russ and his feelings when her shit-stirring friend was trying to humiliate him? I think Pao was just nervous about the video and fell back on the "my husband, my husband" thing to explain away her nerves.

I'm starting to just not care about Mohammed and Danielle at this point. It's just wheel-spinning at this point. I agree with you guys that they're both users; Mo wanted a green card, Danielle wanted a gigolo.
