The cheerleaders are a bit of a mess, though, and don't have the prestige and appearance opportunities the DCC has. The Patriots cheerleaders, for example, have prestige in terms of a winning team, loyal fan base and large market, but aren't as commercial as the DCC. Thus the appeal for Alexandria. In summary, Holly could do worse than the Chiefs if she wanted to do NFL cheering as a side note to whatever else she might have going on, but it won't lead to any type of dance opportunity (higher profile ish or lower profile like local teaching) like being a DCC. I love the Chiefs too, @Oklahomama, but the cheerleading situation feels so different to me. If otherwise financially sufficient, I feel like you could be only a DCC and keep your days full with appearances, showgroup, etc. I don't think most other squads have as much of that. I lovedddd Dulce. She was STUNNING and seemed so down to earth. I think a lot of that sounds like it is DCC but I follow a girl who cheered for the Jets (with Danielle/Jasmine/Jessica M actually!) and some of it also *definitely* fits what she's said about her experience in different posts. I mean, she is a personal trainer now and talks a lot about how terrible her body image was while cheering and the disorders she had to fit what they wanted. 5 Link to comment
