  1. Stepping out of the shadows to ask if anyone here has any real info about the last cut(s) ? I'm seeing alot of generalized stmts (stressed girls, super-secret-squirrel cuts, old news, etc) but no breaking news. They have to be naming the team in the next couple of days, so who is the last cut? Anyone know for sure?
  2. Emma is still doing it? Good for her! She must be one of those that can maintain the DCC shape without trying. #jealous
  3. Checking back in on this forum after a long absence and find that the topic of Eric was dusted off and is seeing new light. It must be getting very hard for her to be in Dallas, but being a litigious twit without the commonsense to NOT snapchat herself breaking rules should give her a clue: Follow the bosses rules or GTFO. There are more than enough people out there to vouch for her getting cut, so her spin that she quit or was injured is laughable. That girl, for all her talent as a dancer, never really appears to make very good choices, and now it seems like she just can't handle not getting the same clicks she got as a DCC. Hopefully she doesn't turn into one of those that 10 yrs from now, *still* has her DCC cameo framed and on her nightstand, lmao.
  4. Amen. Leave the judging to experienced dancers and former Cheerleaders who know what it takes, and let Charlotte and the other C-list celebs judge show group. All those people do is get in the way and give us the one-and-done girls or the failed projects.
  5. She has a fantastic figure and is an incredibly talented dancer, but Holly has never struck me as the typical Hollywood glam girl. If she wears makeup to accentuate her looks she sparkles, but the typical way the DCC have to pile it on always made her look too harsh in my opinion. It'll be interesting to see if she gets anywhere out there and if we ever hear about her again besides on her own IG, lol.
  6. @AuntTora it's a standard rule that all injured cheerleaders are supposed to stay in the lockerroom if they're with the team. I thought it was silly as well; they could put her butt to work being a gopher for pete's sake, but it was wisely pointed out to me that it's a liability issue. If a cheerleader is already on the injured list and gets hurt while traveling on what is essentially company time, it opens up the employer to liability. They should've just left her home.
  7. Thank you. Thunderstruck sucks. It reminds me of the old theory that a woman's hairstyle reflects her hair at the happiest time in her life. That's why you see 50-somethings with mall-bangs or kinky perns still. K & J are from the generation when that song was somewhat popular, and have apparently brainwashed themselves into thinking it's still a bad-ass song and have made it their tradition. I'm from the same generation, and I while I love AC/DC, Thunderstruck has always sucked. Join the 21st century, or retire already.
  8. Somehow, I don't think that's what JJ wants kissed. ..sorry! couldn't resist. he just gives me the creeps.
  9. Ah - yes. If it's PUBLIC behavior that hits the spotlight, it's one thing, while stuff that doesn't become public knowledge is another. Had Bailey3606 not posted the situation on the internet when training camp was underway and the public attn was higher due to filming, I wonder if 'Holee' would've been called out at all. Ditto on the back and forth. :)
  10. I see your point, and you're right. I guess I'm reflecting back to the times we've seen Charlotte put her foot down regarding behavior issues that came up in background checks. Alex Benevenuto had speeding tickets, K wanted her in camp, and Charlotte pointedly said no. I'm sure there are other instances I'm not recalling off the top of my head right now. I had the impression that Charlotte was a no-nonsense type of manager, one that could wield a certain amount of power being a Jones in the DFW area. I also had the impression she wasn't very charitable to anyone who could damage the family business with unacceptable behavior. JJ watches out for the DC bottomline and accepts some real jerks because they put butts in those over-priced seats and there's an ROI on every player. The ROI on a cheerleader? One with injuries and who is dumb enough to break rules on the job...? Not so much. It's my understanding Charlotte was involved with the Erica issue when it came up. From what I've heard she caved, and the rationale was that it wasn't worth the additional distraction. If true, it makes me wonder: How sad is it that your contribution is so minor, that the boss doesn't even feel you're worthy of addressing, and just cuts you loose, lol. #justgohome
  11. Long-winded post - apologies in advance, lol. I was out of town when this episode aired and haven't watched it yet, and I really don't know if I'm going to bother. That's sad in a way because I've not missed an episode since the original 2005 2hr special, but at this point, I've kind of lost interest. More often than not I've understood and agreed with decisions that have been made, but there still have been plenty of times over the years that have made me scratch my head and wonder why they've chosen the way they have. This season, and even the last season, those WTH moments far outnumbered the moments where I nodded my head in agreement. It's no secret that there's always been a lack of consistency in who the rules/contracts are enforced on. Represent well in public and an 'oops' or 10 get ignored. It's no secret that these girls network like crazy to get an 'in' with the organization so they can get a leg up on the competition. Who you know counts as much (if not more) than what you can do. It's also no secret that there are girls Every.Single.Year that party, date players, or snitch on teammates. A bunch of beautiful young women thinking they're invincible tend to get braver than they should. With all of that in mind, it's kind of silly how they approached this seasons filming. This is a reality TV show, and they had enough changes in the roster that I'm guessing this may be their highest-rated season yet. Rather than ride that wave, they downplayed the vet cuts, that if edited well would've shown their management in a positive light. Out of 12 episodes, we've seen <5 minutes of Holly, <5 of Jenna, and 0 of Erica. These were highly popular and tenured vets trying to Make The Team; vets that viewers of the show were interested in, yet the time spent on them was minimal. Instead we saw duplicate 'get to know' segments on forgettable rookies, we saw girls who can't remember choreo, who can't split, and who can't kick(!) get WAYYY too many chances and who probably won't make it next year. We saw filler with C-list celebrities with zero to offer give worthless commentary. We saw K & J say things in multiple episodes when critiquing TCC, then apparently denying saying those exact same things in other episodes. There were a lot of positive things this season (HOF, more dancing) but damn - the nonsense outwieghs all of it IMO. One last mention - I'm just really surprised & disappointed in Charlotte. This woman is known for being a gutsy, strong-willed businesswoman and yet some airheaded, dime-a-dozen cheerleader throws a hissy and she CAVES. Maybe she needs to turn over the ultimate management of the DCC to daddy, because he would've put up with that sh*t for a hot second. #credibilitylost #nogutsnoglory
  12. Mandy had originally planned to audition again but was called out for weight in front of the CMT camera's. She apparently felt ambushed and decided to retire. Kelli apparently reached out to her to apologize, but Mandy decided to stick with the decision to retire. She moved to Cali a few weeks ago I believe.
  13. I'll add that if the girls have an issue with affording a $50 class, they probably aren't going to enjoy how broke they are as cheerleaders. The DC organization doesn't comp *everything, so get used to putting out the $, or juggling earning an income. You have to pay to play, lol.
  14. Good. Then just show the cut. If it's not going to hurt her career, not cause legal issues, just show it, lol. People are going to speculate like crazy, and feed off of info they're fed from insiders not just fellow fans, if the show ignores it. I'm getting beyond the point of caring about the drama queens at this point because they take away from the dance, but you have to admit, the 'hissy fit' the twit threw took some nerve. If the speculation is overboard, then they can 'set the fans straight' and air it. If they choose to ignore the speculation, then anyone in DCC-land or CMT forfeit the right to bitch about the speculation. Either put up or shut up. Pretty simple for CMT and DCC, lol.
