I think Kyle looks great for any age.  She is a short woman who actually eats and has had 4 kids.  She is what a 2 or 4?  Back fat is something many people have and some of it can pop out due to an ill fitting bra.  Or you just have some back fat.  I for 1 have earned this back fat and proud to admit it!  Life is too short to turn down that donut!

Guys, please keep Celebrity Apprentice stuff out of the Housewives topics, and if you absolutely must say something please spoiler bar it, it's not cool to spoil a show in a different shows forum even if the episode already aired. Thanks!

Kyle fat? That is quite absurd, imo.  Some people have lost their blooming minds.  She's no thicker in the middle than Erika.  I think Erika eats too.  She doesn't have that starved, desperate for crumb look on her face. I think that Kyle makes some questionable wardrobe decisions and perhaps it's not as flattering to her figure as it might be.

I have commented on Lisa V. lately, but not to poke fun, but genuinely inquire about her health. She just seems so stiff.  It's worrisome.  Her body appears much older than her face or her chronological age.

I got the impression that Erika though the Seville was pure 70s awesome. Which, let's face it, it was.

Erika will probably take that as inspiration and be writhing around on a Seville in her next video.

You just have to love a movie with a cast that includes Hobo #1.

I was an extra in a movie and then because of my age (60s) and coloring (white hair) got bumped up to "Juror #3."  No lines, but I was able to "emote" when Juror #1 said her line.

Brandi weighs in on Rinna's stash of pills :  https://thedirty.com/brandi-glanville/exclusive-brandi-glanvilles-stylist-brandi-confirms-lisa-rinnas-suitcase-was-full-of-pills/

Allegedly there was a bag mix up and Brandi was delivered Rinna's bag with a one gallon Ziploc full of prescription bottles.  Why is Brandi travelling with a hairdresser?

I call BS on this part “I quickly ushered her to put it back as we didn’t want to know the details of said prescriptions or the many ailments one must have to posses such an arsenal of meds,”.

We all know Brandi would have looked at all the bottles of pills to see what LR was taking.

I think Kyle loved her mother very much, and has managed, since her mother's death, to set aside some of the weird, scary and manipulative behavior.  She has moments when  relating stories of growing up is hard for her.  I think this is a family that was told to keep a whole lot of secrets.   Seems more like she is trying to remember the mother she wanted her mother to be, not the mother she was.   It makes things easier for her.

I wanted to say the same thing, but couldn't think of a nice way to say it.

I've always like LVP, but the boobage has become ridiculously overdone. She has turned into a characature.

I remember Brandi and several references to Rinna being crazy.  I believe she said, "she was nuttier than squirrel shit," my guess is she did an inventory.  I would think Brandi would know the difference between vitamins and prescriptions, but Brandi has been known to be less than truthful.

I think the property taxes must be an error-or there was one hell of an improvement/assessment, other houses in the same tract are pretty much at the 1% of the property value or in this case $4,500.. Why this house is over $7,000.  is a mystery.

Probably crazy enough to be photographed half naked, hanging on a guy with your tampon string sticking out like the fuse to a firecracker?

Well if she dyes her hair darker and drinks the $cientology kool-aid maybe she'll have a chance at being Tom Cruise's new girl friend. She would fit right in being bossy and a know it all. On the plus side they have narc-anon for her pill addiction and Kirsty can help her with that. Go Xenu!

It's funny you both thought this.  I might just have $cientology on the brain but I can't help but to think, whenever Dorit and PeeKay are together, that they actually seem to want an invite to the Celebrity Centre.  Like they'd be honored to be there.

Do you have the deets on the Below Air house?  Interested to see that.

Yeah, it's a tiresome American tradition. All of these women have fine bodies. Kyle and Ericka looked great this episode.

Just pointing out that there is plenty of room to believe that Kim FELT as if she HAD to work to support her family. I'm also confused about the downplaying of Kim's contribution to the obvious luxuries that family reaped. Obviously the mom's role earns them some claim over the spoils but at the same time I'm doubt all of this logical reasoning, which of course, holds up tremendously, actually came into play during Kim's childhood interpretation of it.

That's all I put on the table. How did Kim understand it all? I'm more inclined to believe that Kim didn't have the same understanding of it all in the same way you've eloquently outlined it. Or realized that her mom "earned her keep" by promoting and assisting Kim in her endeavors. No one is trying to take away the logistics however there is more to it than rigid definitions of earned wages and percentages. Children don't wrap their heads around business in the same way adults do and I wouldn't fault Kim if she ever expressed that she felt her years of constant work gave her family the luxurious lifestyles they enjoyed while she grew up. She wouldn't be completely wrong to FEEL that way considering her limited understanding of such things as a child. That's all I'm pointing out.

Or Kyle can continue giving those answers and they just move on with some other conversation. That would be okay too.

One of the main things I remember about HoH was that Big Kathy would play the girls off against each other; the specific scene I am remembering is her holding Kyle (as an LHOP regular) during a dry spell of Kim's, and saying something along the lines of "Look at my precious wonderful child who has a job, while you aren't doing anything . . ."  And that's just what made it into the book.  So your point is quite valid - they were young and a lot of what was happening was colored by their very much loved mother's interpretation of things.  Even when Kim was getting married and pregnant - she was the age that we all decry as "too young"!  But based on the big picture of them they all thought it was great!  And that was based on what their mom taught them.

Kim is a definite mess, and no one will ever know EXACTLY why, or when it started.  Especially since there's obviously a big history, full of secrets that they were taught to keep and we will never know.  I'm glad for Kyle that she has found a nice husband and happy family life.  Too bad Kim couldn't have found the same.

Ha ha - my mother always told me to never lie about my age - "Better to tell the truth and have people think you look great, rather than lie and have them wonder why you look so old." And she is the most vain person I know (in real life) - so I have always considered it good advice!

House of Hilton was all about sensationalism.  Just look at the cover.

https://www.amazon.com/House-Hilton-Conrad-Wealth-Privilege/dp/0307337227

Look at his other books:

https://www.amazon.com/Jerry-Oppenheimer/e/B00IYGBPP6/ref=dp_byline_cont_book_1

Back to the episode:  Kim came back for a second time this season.  Sorry, she came back.  And her past is going to follow.  Just like anyone else.  She doesn't get a pass.  Camille has admittedly owned her behavior on season one.  Kim needs to own her past behavior.  She's not a special snowflake.  Yes, she has a disease but she also needs to recognize that it's not an excuse for all her past actions.

At the same time, Eden needs to stop interfering.   Just because she's a recovered alcoholic, it's not her place to conclude things.

I hate this storyline and where it seems to be going.  I don't want to see Kim.  Not because of her being an alcoholic but because I don't like her.  I'd rather watch Kyle's dogs.  I'd rather see house porn.  Heck, I'd rather watch Erika Jayne porn (that was really hard to type).  I'm just soooo over Kim Richards.  I wish her the best but I just don't want to watch it.

As for LR.  I don't think LR wanted to go there with Kim and she didn't but Kim opened the wound.  The Kim as a victim wound.  LR wasn't going to have it.  The question about Kim being arrested went too far.  At the same time, it is what happened.  The problem with Kim is that she doesn't own things and a part of me was kind of glad LR asked.  Why?  Because of the Kim Richard's victim attitude.  Yeah, yikes,  I'll go back to the corner.  I'm not saying that I'm crazy about LR.  I'm not.  I didn't like the threatening texts but I do get the anger about the limo ride on poker night and innuendo about LR's husband that Kim spouted.  Glass smashing?  Nope.  Anger?  Yes.

From what LVP said in her blog,"For the life of me, I cannot comprehend how this story is so rapidly progressing in a direction I didn't predict."  I don't think anyone expected Kim to be much more than a Camille like presence this season, least of all Kyle, Erika and LVP.  LVP has a lot to say on the issue and concludes with, " That is why my conclusion that a little bird might be fluttering around Miss Sassoon's ear, tweeting an opinion that is the result of a grudge that has festered over the last couple of years.  We will see, and just as the black curtain was pulled back, we will also see a greater reveal soon."

The storyline although involving Kim I think has a deeper vein and that is of someone who is two-faced (Lisa Rinna).  Rinna has been noticeably absent from social media and her last blog seemed to contain of a memory lapse regarding what she said.  This week she just didn't write one.

Kim comments stand alone to Rinna weren't all that salacious or inflammatory.   Like it or not Rinna did use her father as an excuse for her behavior towards Kim.  She claimed she wrote the texts because her father always sushed her and Kim had sushed her.  Since Rinna then apologized and admitted to being intentionally mean and hurtful  I would say Rinna is either a phony or she is saying what everyone else has seen when it comes to Rinna and Kim and that is Rinna cannot or will not keep Kim's name out of her mouth.  Her apology and promise were short lived as she immediately turned around and brought Kim's addiction up again. So to me, it is on Rinna that Kim's past bad acts keep coming up.  Kim does have a victim mentality which is why she is ill served to keep having her childhood come up as some sort of excuse for her behavior.  The statute of limitations for blaming anyone blaming her parents has expired.

Eden claims-I put the interview up on her thread, that when she turned to see if her good friend Rinna was backing her play, Rinna disappears.   Eden said the biggest pot stirrer were the "soap opera twins". So there is a little something to the "two faced" tagline of Erika.  I predict Erika will be the voice of reason and it will be interesting to see where Eileen comes down.

That sentence stuck me funny bone!

It's akin to going on a hike with someone and running ahead on the path, just to find out your partner took a turn and walked off in another direction.

"PREDICTIONS" are best left to the handicappers in Vegas.

LVP runs ahead in a situation and is shocked these skillet heads go off of HER script? And when THAT happens?

She can properly flip into that haughty, OMG mode and tsk-tsks her way thru the season.

One of the reasons I am a HW fan is to watch people be shocked over shit that don't mean nothing. It's the ultimate.

In CA property tax is around 1.25% of price paid, it can only go up a tiny bit as the value of the home increases (due to prop 13 which has truly screwed schools and young families as the boomers just STAY to avoid having to pay fair taxes). This is the Zillow listing : http://www.zillow.com/homedetails/45389-Club-Dr-Indian-Wells-CA-92210/18092424_zpid/?fromHomePage=true

the tax is actually in the $5k range which is appropriate.

I believe this is the key.  Kim's lack of maturity or unwillingness to look at the black and white have not been her friend. I don't think Kim felt that way as a child, I think she was good at what she did and enjoyed the spotlight and all the love she had from fans and family.  I believe Kim's comments came when she was drinking, her life and financial life was out of control and she has developed over the years the idea she is owed for what she contributed to the family with her talent.  I do believe in her drinking years she grew bitter and continued to live life large with very generous child support. The money ran out because of a lack of discipline by Kim, not because someone stole it from her.   Her mother bought her a house in Indian Wells in the late 1990s-not the goddamn house, but one of three her mother purchased as investments after the sale of the Bel Air home purchased before Kim was a star.  These were not mansions  2000 square feet, but homes.  This is after mom lived and paid for a house in Bel-Air (actually closer to Sherman Oaks) for 28 years-only ten of those years was Kim actually working full time.   Over the years she has received a lot of family help that most likely far exceeds what she made as a child.

I think the idea the luxury lifestyle is misplace the foundation was in place with the Bel Air home and I would like to think that if Kim ever took time to see a balance sheet she would be a little taken back at what her actually contributions were.  Here is the goddamn house in Indian Wells: https://www.redfin.com/CA/Indian-Wells/45389-Club-Dr-92210/home/5962465  As you can see from when it was purchase in 1996 and what Kyle and Mauricio paid for it in 2004, and sold it for 10 years later.  Kim and Kathy made money on it, Kyle and Mauricio lost money.  But in Kim's eyes they sold her goddamn house to buy their 2 million home in La Quinta.  Kim just doesn't get it.  She got a great deal.

I do know Kim was generous to a fault to friends and family and a certain ex-husband.  Is it unfair and unwise for Kim to continue to ruminate over what could have been. In retrospect perhaps trips to Paris for the family on a whim, or unfettered spending on indulging her children contributed to her precarious situation.  One thing is for sure she needs to move on.

But at the end of the day there is still plenty of room to believe she may have and considering some of her resentments and how she refers to certain things I'm inclined to think there is something to it.

Kim being a mess doesn't negate a very reasonable theory.

I notice that how Kim feels and what some think are "provable facts" get confused. No one doubts that Kim squandered away her earnings however I think her being bad with money is a completely different issue than what the working dynamic Kim experienced as a child that's all. It's a bit naive not to consider the detail,s given what we know about how child actors were treated back then. How little was considered of them. Not to demonize everyone in the industry but the industry didn't always have children's best interest at heart and a lot of the parents dropped the ball in that regard as well and some even contributed to the exploitation. Those are verifiable facts so I think its a safe theory to get behind especially when Kim exhibits certain resentments and shares tid bits of her childhood. Do I think her position is skewed? Yeah, I understand that she may not be the most eloquent narrator of her life but at the same time she is describing HER life so I can't very well dispute any and everything she says regarding her past and her family.  I just think there are enough piece to the puzzle visible to ponder the possibilities and not make some sweeping declaration that everything about her child acting days were on the up and up and that it NEVER had a negative impact on her or her family. In my opinion, from the bits and pieces I've picked up from the show there are certain aspects of it that has affected Kim and how she relates to her family That's my observation.

I don't see it as women tearing down women, I see it as women getting sick of the fake BS.  When women post shots of themselves looking perfect, they aren't doing it to feel good about themselves.  If they wanted to look good for themselves, they would stand in front of a mirror, at home.  They are doing it to elicit jealousy.  It is a way for them to show off, and it actually makes me angry.  Especially when it is captioned "look at me after 4 kids!" or something, because they are usually able to afford a chef, and work out every day, and also get a doctor to sculpt that fat into a flat stomach.  So, they are saying "look at me, I am skinnier, and better than you!"  And while there are some people who have genuinely done it on their own, with the resources most women have, then good for them.  But when "stars" - even reality stars do it, it makes me sad, and I have no problem pointing out that I think it is pathetic.

On another note, I am not opposed to Kim coming back IF she had a story, or a reason.  But I have to wonder if she is just there for a quick paycheck.  Why do this to yourself, Kim?

Wow!! Love this, cause you've touched on the other side of it.

Sure it's terrible to criticize people's looks and all that jazz but there is a huge market for there to be disdain.  The obnoxious vanity is worth checking once in a while.

I have to say I was watching the episode again last night and couldn't help but think Erika tries too hard. I mean I love the whole empowerment some give her for doing her own thing and having all that confidence but at the same time. That isn't all that's important. I think when women make everything they are about how high they rate on the sex appeal meter than that's also gross disservice. It shouldn't be such an obsession.

Gurrrrrlllll I'm vain, I admit it. With my Puerto Rican features and very lucky genes I have much self appreciation but there's a difference between being confident and appreciative of oneself and holding yourself up as some desirable goal to attain and to be coveted.

I think Erika tries WAAAAAYYYYY too hard unnecessarily.  And I think she has a pretty dismissive attitude about a lot of things which revolve around other women, how they "view" her and her relations to other women. All that together leaves a bad taste in my mouth about her but because she is pretty reserved, doesn't "act out" and manuevers rather well within the minefield of the show I still like her.

I really didn't like the way she looked in that bathing suit or those tacky ass heels. I hate this whole "anything goes" mentality as long as they're confident. I have my own divaness that revolves around shit looking GOOD! I will wear a pair of payless pumps with an evening gown as long as the combination works and is fierce. So when I see Erika try to pass these extremely tacky and forced looks off as sex kitten I get so mad. Yes she has a nice body. YAAAASSSSS she ain't a size two. Great, Fabulous, work it gir! But I'm sure there were a million other bathing suits that would have worked much better than that whole 80's high cut leotard looking, I'm about to go work out at Jack LaLanes, monstrosity that looked like it was  strangling the puss. Please, please, please if you are going to assault us with you're extreme appreciation of your looks and sex kitten status please do it without setting off my gag reflex as well as inducing migraines due to intense eyerolling. Pleeeeeeeeeeeeeeeaaaseeee!

I have to say that Kyle did look really nice and it did look like she's isn't used to letting the fab fly as comfortable so I'm so giving her a pass on her legit fab moment cause I think she's not so much of a look a me look a me (aside from those splits and helicopter ponytails) persona. I mean yeah I know she thinks she cute but she doesn't beat you over the head with it and is definitely doesn't take advantage of the situations where she could be more revealing and sexy.  Even during scenes by a pool or at a beach during their trips or what have you she stays pretty modest. This coming from someone who isn't exactly a Kyle fan mind you.

I do think you are on the right track as far as Kim's resentment and some of it may be misdirected.  Back then is a relative term, actors in general didn't start seeing the big bucks in television for many years.   Here is a story about Miley Cyrus: http://perezhilton.com/2016-09-28-miley-cyrus-hannah-montana-underpaid-salary-taken-advantage-of#.WI9tWuQzUiQ  her salary is compared to Angus Jones'. This was 30 years after Kim began working for Disney and Miley was truly the lead and a star.   Kim did not come of age during the licensing deals, huge weekly salaries, million dollar movie contracts.  That would not be her parents fault as she worked for what the industry would pay and she availed herself of the opportunities available to her.  That being said even if Kim's family had saved every cent Kim earned, Kim was irresponsible with money.

Kim's narrative is only important because in narrating the days of her life, she paints a picture, other family members and facts are in dispute.  So yes people can dispute her narrative because little things like,"you stole my goddamn house," when there are documents to prove otherwise are entirely relative to Kim's disease process be it mental illness or alcoholism.  Letting Kim run with her reality at the expense of others is enabling.  Almost everyone has issues growing up, within the family, in the work place be it school or on a television set.

So when there is a man that is not physically attractive like PK, it is okay to say how unattractive, repulsive, disgusting, not aging well he is.  I think the lowest form of insult is a person's looks-not how they style themselves but their physical attributes.  Kyle is stumpy, Meghan King is a giraffe, Kyle can't stretch her legs, Meghan can't have her neck shortened.  Not that  like her, but I do think Tamra Judge bored showed us about working out and dieting to the point it just wasn't all that interesting but she was thrilled with the result.  I don't think they do it to say they are better than someone else, I think they have occupations where cameras don't lie.  Women of all walks of life and be them mothers by giving birth are the ones keeping the doors of countless plastic surgery, Botox centers open.

I think the mere fact Kim can form a coherent sentence and is entering a different stage in life (grandparent) was probably enough for a brief story arc.  I don't see Kim going on either of the out of the country trips.  They are all working for a paycheck, some do better than others with their ability  to capitalize on the opportunity.

That whole stole house thing comes up everywhere and I actually took it as something that cements my point. As far removed as the details surrounding that house and Kim it just goes to show how much she felt to contributing to communal property.

Also, I've always believed that there was something very fishy in that whole house thing. Paperwork and signatures can all be in order but we all know there are plenty of ways to get what you want and keep everything above board on paper depending on who you are dealings with and what your resources are.

I don't really care that much about that chapter anymore cause Kim is so swallowed by this addict label nothing will ever come out of her claim obviously and it's old anyway,  but I'm not inclined to use that particular example as Kim's delusional view of things considering I've seriously sided eyed that whole situation myself. <shrug>

As we discovered, the issue wasn't about whether Kim contribute to the purchase of the house, it was she thought Kathy got more money than she did and Kyle had the checks to back it up.  Kim got her fair share.  She further shot herself in the foot when she said Kyle told escrow was about to close so she better get anything she wanted out.  Kyle said that was a twist, because before the house was listed she told Kim they were going to sell and  Kim asked the Brooke get the listing.

It is situations such as the aforementioned that brings Kim's recall into question.   It may have more to do with calling Kim out and not enabling her twisted recall.

ZM's post was pretty spot on in her recap about that episode. A lot of info came out that cleared up the confusion Kim's accusation in the limo caused years before. Oh, and Kim didn't deny any of it other than she had hoped to buy back her share sometime in the future, I guess she though Kyle/Mauricio would just hold onto it forever for her. In reality, she should have been upset at Kathy, as she was the only one that could afford to buy the house outright and give it/loan it to Kim for Kim's/family's sole use but didn't.

Oh yeah, I know it cleared up a lot of people's confusion... My doubt? Not so much. But yeah it's old news anyway so que cera cera...

Oh gosh, can all this Kim discussion be taken to the Kim thread.  I don't mean any offense to any poster.  I'm just tired of Kim Richards.  IMO, she didn't get 'cheated' out of anything but if posters want to discuss it, it's up to them but it really doesn't have anything to do with this episode.

Kim being on the episode is something all together different.  Kim's alcoholism is a part of the episode because that's her storyline.  Her recovery?  I don't want to hear about it and I don't want to see her either.  Why?  She doesn't accept any responsibility for it.

Where's Bambi?  I'd rather throw the ball than see or hear anything about Kim Richards and her 'problems'.

Sadly, the Kim discussion arises out of Rinna and Eden making it a topic of conversation.  Kim, Kyle, LVP, Dorit, Erika and even Eileen have no desire to talk about Kim's journey.  I doubt anyone really is all that invested in Kim being a grandma.

Ha ha - my mother always told me to never lie about my age - "Better to tell the truth and have people think you look great, rather than lie and have them wonder why you look so old." And she is the most vain person I know (in real life) - so I have always considered it good advice!

I was told if you're going to lie then you should add years to your age so then people will really think you look amazing.
