The Duggars – and now Derick, too, apparently – think the Book of Proverbs contains words attributed to God.  It doesn't.  It is a collection of ancient sayings that is part of ancient Jewish literature.  It is like the pithy quotes of Ben Franklin as part of American literature, but not of the Constitution of America.

The Duggars actually read one chapter of Proverbs a day, corresponding to the day of the month.  They consider this their "Bible study", which is just one reason why they don't know much about the Bible.

Jessa was there. Famy confirmed it when someone asked on her Instagram post yesterday. 

As for Jerick, well, she IS a Stage 5 Clinger. I'm surprised that she went out to dinner without him on Thursday. Since she made that burnt...err.. blackened salmon last night, what happened to the rest of that "burrito" casserole? My guess? It ended up at the TTH and was Friday lunch for the littles.

They posted pictures of a 'dinner party' they had in their house in Central America right before they left.  Know what they served?  Pupusas they picked up at a local fast food place and brought home to feed their guests.  Keep those donations rolling in.

If it was someone besides Jill, I'd say it was an age thing. 2 of my 20-something nieces got married this last year and both of them post pictures of the dinners they make for the Best Friend/husband all the time. I think they're bragging that a) they have a husband and the other sisters/cousins don't and b) they know how to cook real meals.

Well call me lucky. My Momma was from the south and at least half our meals were some sort of casserole or goulash and I have seen anything like that before.

The promos for the new season are about Jill's and Derick's "big surprise" before returning to Central America. We already know she's pregnant and they've been home for a month. And about Jessa giving birth. Henry is what, like 6 months old?

I don't think they announced Jill's pregnancy last season, did they? She comes home as if nobody has seen her, sticks out her 7 month pregnant belly, and says, "Hey y'all! I'm expecting!"

More likely, they're announcing that they're not going back at all. It's not as if they accomplished anything during their time down there.
