Based on how that person described it LW sounds insufferable. I mean there's defending your show and then there's being a bitch about it and she seemed to veer into the latter. But that's just one person's account and also it is hard to tell in writing exactly how someone comes off. Still I personally always get a vibe from LW that keeps me from being able to really like her. Also, the 'ha ha' Carly laugh she does is the worst thing I have ever witnessed.

My feeling is that FV/Jelly and the TIIC having been getting feedback that whatever they are doing to GH, the audience isn't happy and those who haven't turned it off will soon, and everyone on the show knows it and remembers what happened the last time. I actually didn't mind her being a bit protective of Bryan Craig. Yes, he did make his relationship very public, but it really doesn't have anything to do with the show, and considering how quiet he has been lately about it, it really is no one's business and LW is free to tell someone that in a polite manner. I am more pissed by the valid complaint that Sam fans had about her interactions with Franco being dismissed, because it does have to do with the show and if someone is going to come up for a fan event for a soap opera, they are going to be more invested in the characters than people that don't show up. Hey LW, maybe the next you should ask to the audience is "if you don't like, change the channel!"

What happened the last time?

RC basically had a twitter war with everyone and anyone that called the show shit, instead of you know, trying to improve the show and doubled down on what people complained about. People like KSt even said something along the lines people don't have to watch the show...so they didn't. Any upswings the show made in the rating quickly slid and the ratings got so bad that FV was forced to fire RC and bring on Jelly. Jokes on us, though, FV might have been the problem a long.

So - kind of like the same thing that is happening now? Lol

Scenes with Sam and Franco (and Laura, Epiphany and Liz ) aren't about creating drama. They're about normalizing Franco.

He had an imaginary conversation where Sam confronts him about one of the things that he's done to her. That's not drama. And it just highlighted how bizarre it is that he's freely walking around this city

And that imaginary conversation was one of the few or maybe the only times Sam has been allowed to properly acknowledge what he has done to her WITHOUT Franco or Liz or anyone trying to minimize her pain.

I wish the actors who aren't RoHo would just say "no comment" or something similar whenever the topic of Franco comes up, because what are they supposed to say? I'm sure they realize it's ridiculous that he's on the show, but I doubt there's anything they can say that doesn't a) crap on Jelly/Frank/the writing; or b) basically amount to them telling the audience to suck it up and deal. It's not their responsibility to justify this character bein on the show.

Also, isn't this event supposed to be about the show? What does BC's relationship status have to do with anything? Why are people asking other actors about Kelly and Billy's relationship, especially when they aren't even there to comment themselves?

I don't think personal questions are out of line, as soap actors have always had a closer relationship with their viewers than other actors. It's one of the things that makes soaps special, IMO. And as someone noted, BC and KT were very public with their relationship. It's a bit late to play the privacy card (not that he seemed to; I mean generally). As for KeMo and BM's status, people are curious. Someone could have lightly said, "Oh, you'd have to ask them," and move things along.

I totally agree, but again, those questions aren't out of line.

BC did answer the question, LW was the one told the person it was none of their business. For all of BC's douchey behavior, I don't think I have heard anything of him having a bad relationship with his former costars, and I can see why LW would step in if she and BC are still chatting and knows he is going through a rough patch. The person was free to ask the question, but LW isn't out of line to come to BC's defense and say it isn't any of the person's business, especially since BC is no longer on the show. It is never too late to play the privacy card and while it has always been a bit too TMI with BC, I don't think he has admonished other actors for being too private about their lives, so  if there is a part of his life that he what to keep private for the time being, he should be free to do so.

As for Killy, Laura was a no, but Robert and Hayley said yes then maybe or at least they had been together. Lol

Sometimes when I read these things, I feel as though I need a decoder ring. I was trying to relate this to characters on the show (Killon being one of the Kiki/Dillon mashup names), but I guess the person was asking if Kelly Monaco and Billy Miller, the actors, were having sex? (Edit: I see I was not alone!)

I've met her a couple of times, and I didn't think she was bitchy. She was upbeat, funny and pretty cool.

Right! ngl I'm kinda disappointed they haven't posted any others yet.

I thought I saw there had been another one with Hayley (I always get confused with the spelling of her name because of Haley Pullos) and Robert for La La Land. Guessing if you're not a Killon fan, that one would draw zero interest. I also think there was one with Donnell Turner (Curtis) and Anthony Montgomery (Dr. Maddox) for Moonlight, I think.

I just went and watched all of them. Honestly, I think the ones with Chloe Lanier/Parry Shen and Anthony Montgomery/Donnell Turner are like actually good. And I thought Robert Parker Watkins was surprisingly good in the La La Land one. But the ones with Matt Cohen/Hayley Erin and DZ/CD were atrociously bad and made it seem like it was supposed to be a joke.

Same to everything you said. Parry Shen was incredible. AM/DT were really good too. Is that really what La La Land is about? A musical about Hollywood, so boring. Killon were cute though.

The rest was abysmal.

The Lion one seems to have been shot outside the studio. It looks so bad. And yet, it was the best one imo, because the acting was leaps and bounds better than most of the others. Which made me realize that while it sucks that the sets are so cheap and grey, it'd be fine if the writing and acting was better than it is.

Laura is the protector of all things GH. When I asked why must Franco be around Sam, she said they aren't together. I said I know but we Sam fans hate that she has to interact with him. She said there's drama in it then asked why I cared so much. I thought that was weird as you'd think they want us to care. Lol

Bryan said many want Morgan back and after meeting him in person, I like him now.hes not as childish. Someone asked if he's getting married and he said not yet and Laura told the person that's none of their business. Mother hen I tell you.

Wow, she sounds rude as hell.  She's at a fan event, where fans paid to see them and she gets bitchy with them?

I was working BTS at LW's first GHFCW, and she was totally nice and normal, to the point where she ordered a pepperoni pizza to share with her handler, as she didn't cut off her line of fans at the appointed time, choosing to meet and greet every one of them, and was hungry. The two of them chowed down in between chatting/photos/autographs. She was lovely. Also very cool were Finola, Scott Clifton, Lindze Letherman, Becky Herbst, Sonya Eddy, and several others. I'd say about 90% were happy to spend time with their fans, and it showed.

I'm not a film snob or humorless (really!), but these "tributes" embarrass me.

The Arrival one and the Manchester By the Sea one were so cringe-worthy. I still have second-hand embarrassment over them! The latest one with MB and MC is probably the worst acting of all of them, but I just found it funny. MB couldn't even manage to get even those lines out properly! How is he still the lead of this show? How are cast members still going around pretending they think he's an acting God? The mind boggles!

Agreed, Nora vs. Diane could be fun.  I do also hope Nora crosses paths with Alexis.

Otherwise, I kinda want Nora to walk around horrified by everything she sees.  Like she's having coffee in the MetroCourt and Sonny and Carly come through having some loud argument about THE VIOLENCE and she's just like, "The fuck...".

This made me want Nora to react to Franco but then I remembered it's RoHo and I was like never mind.
