kristabell October 13, 2015 Share October 13, 2015 That seems an especially churlish reaction now that there are so few soaps left. And soap actors have always hopped around. I get why a lot of viewers don't like it, but it's nothing new. I think a lot of the reason people take issue with it now is that it is MUCH more common and, more often than not, it's not character recasts but characters created just for new actors. The producers and HWs seem really enamored with getting whatever "big fish" actor they're lusting after, but in my experience fans care much more about their shows and the shows' characters than they do about particular actors. From going straight to Guiding Light after Loving/The City, to coming to GH right after GL, she clearly figured out how to play the game early on.
