Ridge just can't let it go, can he? No matter what sacrifices have been made, no matter what concessions have been made, no matter how indulgent Brooke and Hope are to him, Ridge remains the same petulant, demanding ogre he has become since TK took over the role. His treatment of Hope yesterday was appalling. Hope comes in, and is happy to see them together, and he has to shoot that down real quick and in a hurry. And also needs to remind Hope that her father is a loser and is probably hiding Sheila away. Deacon has done absolutely nothing to deserve that; he has done as Brooke demanded and has been on the up and up for some time now. But you know what? It makes me want to see a romance blossom between Taylor and Deacon. Ridge's world would explode, he would be ranting and raving to Brooke about it, he would probably even pull Hope in, trying to get her to run interference. Maybe, just maybe, it would be enough for Brooke to call it quits? I know, it is a long shot, but I would be willing to watch anything that would burn that fucking Bridge to the ground.

And now Taylor. You little fuckwad. Brooke likes to play with matches? How is that exactly? So, Ridge has been a complete innocent all these years then? No waffling, no dumping his marriage, life and family with Brooke for you and the Tots, no Mommy complex, no interfering in any romance Brooke has had, no affairs, or divorces and remarriages, no running back to you every time his little ego is bruised? Ridge has treated Brooke like crap through this whole quest for Destiny. Going all the way back to when he used a model to make Brooke think he was messing around on her, and from there the antics and plans and machinations only got worse. Compounding that, was in most cases his parents and Taylor were involved. Lying about Stephen dying, the whole sordid plan in Venice, accusing Brooke of buying off the doctor to ensure Ridge came out the father of Bridget, trying to scam Brooke out of her rights to BeLief, with the fake masseuse and the fake contract, Boinkberry. The list goes on and on, and Taylor sits there like an innocent angel talking about Brooke? Oh, a fucking WRP BITCH needs to shut her mouth, and take some lumps for her actions. I mean, if Brooke was this horrible, vindictive person that Taylor paints her, then wouldn't her sorry ass be in jail? Brooke is one of the few who know Taylor shot Bill, and she has never used that information against Taylor. If the roles were reversed, Taylor would have run to Chief Lt. Baker in a hot Bell LA minute to squeal. Taylor and Ridge so deserve each other. What a pair of manipulating losers.

Poor Finn. Now Mike wants to kill him. I don't think Sheila will go for it though. I am encouraged that they are talking about and showing Li's accident again. It gives me hope that she is out there recovering with some kind person who found her.

What irked me was that while Ridge was admonishing Hope, Brooke just sat there with her mouth firmly closed. Her wide-eyed innocent shrug made my blood boil. What a great way to support your daughter, Brooke. The one who had to listen ad nauseum to you lamenting, "Why did I drink that night?"

I just don't get the appeal of that grimy hobo.

Brooke looked great today in black.  Can’t believe Det Hot Dog acts like he is at Ridge’s beck and call and telling them inside information.  And then the 3 of them go to question Mike??!  Yep, so realistic…

Finn is a better actor when he gets mad!  Wonder how Sheila will stop him but if she does knock him out I imagine Mike will cave and the good guys will arrive just is time.

I kind of question the legalities of someone being pulled off their job for questioning when they are not an official suspect. I further question the legalities of that questioning being done by non-law officials. There have been times over my working life where I have suspected co-workers of unsavory actions, but would that have given me the right to interrogate them? And Chief Lt. Baker brings confidential files to Brooke's house and discusses them with Ridge and his family? I would imagine that no matter what Mike says, he would have about a hundred different ways out of this through technicalities. I know the Forrester's have a name in Fashion, and they are wealthy, but they are not the Rockefeller's, or the Du Pont's, or the Vanderbilt's, or the Astor's, yet Ridge seems to have legal pull all over the globe; let us not forget how he picked up the phone and dialed directly to Interpol to have Dr. Buckingham arrested.

Some things have occurred to me in the Finn/Sheila SL:

Finn does not know what Sheila did to Li

Finn does not know that Sheila shot Steffy

If Li is dead, how will Finn being in that room ever be explained? Sheila could not have done it; she would not have had access to Finn. Maybe use security tape? Interview the attending doctors to see who else was with Finn? Li had to sign the death certificate, so how will that be explained?

If they have/do find Li's vehicle, and are able to make paint samples, they would be looking for Mike's van. Sheila could easily say she told Mike to go after Li. Mike could end up holding the bag for that too.

In any event, it looks like we are nearing some type of conclusion to this mess. I got so much enjoyment watching Finn push Sheila, I hope it goes further and he knocks the shit out of her and stomps on her hateful face.

Another certainty, beside death and taxes, is Ridge being rude and crude and breathing fire.

I would be as happy as a 🐖 in 💩 if Taylor was having Deacon’s baby. The way the monkeys with a keyboard write this is more than a possibility. In the immortal words of Capt Picard, “Make it so”.

I would love for Ridge's head to explode, too, but....how old is Taylor?  I think she would be too old to have a kid even by soap standards.

I am loving angry, fiery Finn.  I hope he survives and reunites with Steffy and the kids and, hopefully, Li.

I remember Sally having CJ when she was as old as Taylor is supposed to be. Although nuTaylor looks almost the same age as her kids. I have barely been watching and I feel like Deacon would be wasted on Taylor, but if it gets him onscreen, then I guess that's the silver lining.

I actually tuned in today after, as mentioned, barely watching the last few weeks.

Ridge/Taylor/Thomas and their learning Steffy is in a resort-like facility (of course she is) for grief counseling, along with the kids and the nanny, were a yawnfest. And I have Flowers in the Attic: The Origin mini-series airing now to get my inappropriate relationship fix and don't need to see a shirtless Thomas hanging with his looks-the-same-age mother.

You all were right that Tanner does his best acting in bed. His loathing of Sheila growing more and more palpable as she shared what happened to Li (or so she thinks, more on that in a moment) was riveting. It will actually be a shame if they pair him with Steffy again when Jacquie returns.

A rare Bill sighting! Sharing dinner with Wyatt at a seaside seafood place. I have missed these father-son scenes (thankfully no mention of Flo - I hope she is gone for good and don't even care if they don't bother to write in a few lines explaining her absence/departure). Wyatt and Katie had heat and could be revisited easily.

Brooke is never, ever gonna free herself from Ridge and it seems they are pairing up Taylor and Deacon, so that would seem to leave Bill out in the cold.

Except, what I was hoping for as soon as I saw the location of the restaurant actually happened.

Yep, Li is alive!!!

And Bill is the one to find her. Bring on, Billi, says I.

Welcome back, Naomi. I have missed you and feisty Li immensely.

Li all dirty in a alley. I didn’t see that one coming. I guess $Bill has found his new woman. I’m not mad at it. That said, I’m not sure if Li & Bill ever met beforehand. He was hardly ever on & she was just in the Forrester vortex. Once Li gets a shower she’ll be already to go. It’s the only thing going for this show. Looking forward to the Monaco shoot. I’m a sucker for on location stuff.

Is the same director directing the scenes with Finn? TN is doing an outstanding job. I have been getting tired of Sheila but think KB upped her game too. With some of her facial expressions this week, she looks demented.

Yay, Li is back. Enjoyed Wyatt and Bill today.  l'm tired of Ridge. Taylor and their kids. Nice to see other faces and hear different dialogue.

If ever my son’s psycho bio mom runs me off-the-road, into a body of water, oh please, oh please, oh please let me be saved (& hopefully nursed back to health) by $Bill Spencer. I’m ready for a new power couple, & Dr. Li Finnegan (I assume) & $Bill Spencer might just be it.

I squeed like a little girl and nearly peed my pants! The new restaurant set should have been a clue, but I did not see Bill finding Li coming at all. And just look at Bill, tough as nails "you looking for trouble? I can give you some" and "is this a setup?" I don't think Li and Bill have ever met, and I have this feeling Li may have some amnesia going on, so the loop may not connect up right away. But the fact that Li is alive, and that Bill found her is everything.

Why is Thomas shirtless in every scene with his mother?

I am having a hard time giving a fuck about Steffy right now. And that isn't because I dislike the character; I know she is grieving, but the only one I can care about at this moment is Finn. He is in a horrible predicament, and just as I suspected would start to piece things together and realize that Sheila could not have absconded him from the hospital. I agree with others that TN is doing a bang up job; his fear, shock, pain, and anger are a growing force inside him, and he is playing it perfectly. I absolutely love the interjection of his mind thoughts, letting us know that no matter what comes out of his mouth, he is fully aware of who and what he is dealing with.

And then there is Sheila; ME, ME, ME, ME, ME. It is always about how she felt, and what others have done to her, and how everyone makes her do things. GAH! Off with her head! I was clapping and fist pumping when Finn told her he didn't care how she felt.

The smart thing for Ridge and the police to do would be to put a tail on Mike. He cannot stay away from Sheila and will be going back to her.

Bill still has a house!
Finn needs to call 911 not Steffy.  Li, drink some of that water and maybe you will be able to talk.

I just CAN’T with Ridge and NuTay anymore!   FF button for all their scenes.

Finn is definitely getting stronger not only vocally but physically.

Li you lucked out with Bill finding you!

Show was on 🔥 today.

Well, except for the boring as hell Steffy's at a grief resort subplot that no one gives a crap about.

Taylor cries, hoping to garner sympathy from Ridge, who slams his fist on the table and whines about Sheila.

There is talk about how Steffy would light up around Finn and if only he were alive...well, he is. But now that Tanner has figured out how to act, I hate to see him wasted with Jacquie.

Speaking of Finn, I was once again riveted as he raged at Sheila, demanding to know what Sheila did to his mother. She tries to protest that there was nothing she could do for Li, what with her car sinking into the bay and all, but Finn is having none of it.

Sheila-Finn-BB-CBS.jpg?resize=1024,598

Finn: "Are you saying she’s dead?!? “You killed my mother?!”

Sheila does her typical backpedaling that it was Li who betrayed her and how everything would have been fine, fine, fine, if Li had agreed to let them treat Finn together.

Finn doesn't buy one word, declaring that he hates her, adding, “You’re just some crazy psycho!” Wow, he's going all in.

Sheila snots that he shouldn't talk to his mother that way and Finn counters that she is not his mother.

Finn: "You gave birth to me and that's all. Li is my mother and always will be!" Damn straight!

Sheila goes quiet and her face is pretty scary right now but Finn has no fucks to give.

FYSpK6YXwAI6X4W?format=jpg&name=small

Sheila insists that Li's death was an accident (liar!) Good thing Li is actually alive although I still hate your guts with the fire of a million suns.

Finn: "Just like the shooting was an accident?" Where has this Finn been all this time?

Sheila: "I love you and yes, I was chasing Li, but I never wanted to see her die." Sure, Jan. "Please, you have to believe me."

Finn: "I will never believe a word you say, ever again."

Sheila tries a different tact, telling him she'll continue to try and prove herself to him, but he needs to stay calm. She gives a thinly-veiled threat about not wanting to have to sedate him.

Finn, proving he is done caring what she thinks or what she might do, demands to know where Steffy is. Sheila responds that they are out of town and they are fine, but he is immediately suspicious.

Finn: "Did you harm her? Answer me, Sheila! Did you hurt my wife?" So it's clear he doesn't remember Sheila shooting him or Steffy. Finn demands to know where Steffy is. She says they’re out of town and they’re fine, but he asks if she’s lying. “Did you harm her? Answer me, Sheila! Did you hurt my wife?!”

He then demands that Sheila give him a phone so he can talk to Steffy. Which we know ain't happening.

Finn, sensing this as well, is disgusted: "How long are you planning to keep me here?" When she doesn't answer, he answers for her, "I'm guessing just long enough to keep you from going back behind bars...where you belong."

Sheila's eyes are as cold as a cobra's, even as she tries to baby him and wants to make things up to him. The jig is up, psycho.

To her shock and, quite frankly mine, Finn grabs her and growls: “You killed my mom!!!”

FYSh09yWIAEv_d_?format=jpg&name=small

Now, this is a Finn I could fan myself over. His quite-sculpted arms don't hurt.

Speaking of hot, the other reason to watch is what I am hoping with all my might is the beginning of Billi.

Here is their very first glance and remember, these two have never met.

Bill, so gentle and sweet here, asks a cowering Li: "Are you okay?"

It's clear she's not as she continues to tuck into a self-protective ball.

FYSdXHoWYAAAX2g?format=jpg&name=small

Bill takes a beat and a breath, gazing at the woman before him "Wow..." He crouches down, sensing him standing over her might be intimidating. It's then that he introduces himself to her and ask if she's sick or hurt, adding “You don’t have to be scared. You need some help. Will you let me help you?”

Li has uncurled from the fetal position, but looks at him with skeptical eyes, not trusting this stranger one iota.

Li-alley-BB-HW.jpg?w=1230

Bill: "It's clear you're in bad shape. Let me help you." Her guard is up and my sense is the trauma Li suffered in the accident has her more than a bit disoriented and possibly somewhat an amnesiac. Her anxiety must be off the charts right now.

Bill, his voice softer still, says, "I don't blame you for being afraid. It's a crazy world out there."

Li-Bill-alley-talk-BB-HW.jpg?resize=1024

He pauses, seemingly at a loss how to proceed, when Li, attempting to speak, pins him to the spot as she manages to get out "help me."

His face, so full of pity and empathy, and I have never loved Bill more.

He offers to take her to the hospital but she shakes her head, mouthing "no." He quickly backs away from that and offers to take her to his home.

Bill: "I have everything you need there. You can trust me. I promise." If nothing else, we know that Bill is a man of his word and somehow, I think Li is sensing this.

He reaches out his hand and after a long moment, Li tentatively takes it. Their eyes meet and it's pretty damn electric.

Li-Bill-hand-BB-HW.jpg?resize=1024,598

He repeats his words, treading carefully with this woman, who seems more like a wounded doe at the moment, “It’s okay. I’ll help you.”

We cut to them at Bill's mansion, where he is ushering in a clearly unsure about this Li, wrapped in a blanket, looking like a bedraggled street urchin, into the house.

Li-Bill-talk-BB-HW.jpg?resize=1024,598

He guides her, with his voice, sensing she doesn't want to be touched, to sit on the couch, assuring her it's okay.

She sits and he looks so happy with that little victory.

He perches on the far end, giving her some space and Naomi, who has been masterful throughout all this, conveys the "keep your distance" vibes with just her eyes and body language.

Bill-Li-sit-BB-HW.jpg?resize=1024,598

Bill: "You're safe here. I have security all over the place." Except for the time Taylor shot him in the back or Ridge punched him off the balcony, but obviously he's not gonna share that.

But he is deadly serious as he tells her "No harm will come to you, certainly not from me."

He assures her again that he wants to help her get better, then tries to broach the issue of going to the hospital again: "You really need to see a doctor.”

She balks again at this, clearly afraid, so Bill lets that go, for now.

Bill: "Can you tell me your name? Anything about yourself?”

It's clear she is having trouble speaking, no small wonder, considering what she's been through thanks to psycho Sheila.

He brings her some water and takes some himself to reassure her it's all right to drink.

But she only continues to stare at him as he tells her that he hopes she’ll trust him enough to tell him who she is and what happened to her.

It's clear to Bill that she’s been through something very traumatic. Trying to get her to open up, he asks how she ended up in that alley.

Bill: "Are there any friends? Any family that I can call?" Well, obviously not lying and cheat Jack and who cares about him anyhow at this point. He asks about a husband to which she stares back blankly but then, there's something in her eyes when he asks: "Do you have children?"

Bill, sensing he's on to something, digs a little more: "Do you have a daughter? A son?"

Li gasps at the word "son." She tries desperately to speak and fails and her frustration is palpable. All she can get out is "I have..."

And fade to black and I want more, dammit!

The more I see them, the more I see the parallels between them and how they will go to any lengths to protect their children (Bill covering up the accident with Vinny, even though it meant he could go to prison; Li risking losing her livelihood and medical career to save her son's life AND taking on Sheila Carter).

It is an absolutely beautiful, riveting beginning.

If he doesn't remember Sheila shooting him, then how does he know Sheila shot him?  To be fair to Finn, he was shot first.  It's not that he doesn't remember Steffy getting shot, it's that he was out cold when Steffy was shot.

Good point. I guess I was thinking he doesn't truly remember Steffy being there, but perhaps something has sparked now and he suspects the worst?

IIRC, Sheila shooting him was one of the first things he remembered. Later, about a week or so ago (all the scenes run together now LOL), he remembered that Sheila shot him by "accident" because she was purposely trying to shoot Steffy. He asked Sheila what happened to Steffy after he "passed out," as he put it, and made it clear that he thinks Sheila killed/hurt her. Sheila talked him down, but I don't think he's ever 100% bought that Steffy is okay. I think it's why anytime he mentions Steffy, he instantly turns into a sobbing, panicked wreck.

I can't tell if Li has memory loss, a brain injury with aphasia, or what, but she's Finn's only hope of getting out of there with help, since Ridge gave up on the whole Mike angle before Sheila's shower hair was even dry. Like others, I really don't want Finn tied down to Steffy again, but I'm absolutely done with Sheila. I so hope Li manages to tell Bill enough to have Bill shut the whole thing down.

Katrina Bowden (Flo) has not been seen in a while but it’s not because she was fired. Katrina, in her time off has been staring in  a few movies.  Flo is still in the opening credits as is Shanna but Taylor is not so I believe the opening credits are not an indication as to who’s in and who’s out

Am I wrong or did Li seem to recognize  Bill’s name. Is she afraid to identify herself because of his connection to the Foresters?  I guess Li really is traumatized.  I’m glad she’s alive though.

Was Finn shot in the legs?  No, so if he’s strong enough to struggle with Shiela, why isn’t he strong enough to get out of bed and walk out?

Sheila has mentioned twice that Finn has a spine injury. Not sure how she knew about that, if it's even real, or if Li left charting or notes.

In general, bullets travel through the body and can split into fragments, so where a bullet enters isn't always where it stops. Post-injury clots can also form that obstruct blood flow to unexpected areas that have nothing to do with the primary injury. When Finn got out of bed the other day, he was shown to need to manually shove his legs off the bed with his hands and ended up supporting all of his weight with his arms. It doesn't look like he has much lower gross motor skills back (yet?), and he definitely has more arm strength. That being said, a guy as muscular as Finn shouldn't be struggling to stop Sheila from touching him; he's weak.

I think the show is doing a fair job of showing that he’s been in a coma for 3-4 months after being shot, without being 100% realistic about it (no thanks to that). But I’m also expecting his recovery to keep going at soap opera light speed. (Dude was brain dead without oxygen for a while...yeah... He's doing great.) But I also wonder how much of this is intentional writing and if he's actually going to have issues. I'd take that storyline.

Also wanted to say that I'm very tired of the endless "how could Sheila shoot her own son and now Steffy is alone and Hayes is without his father" diatribes (it's been WEEKS), but it was actually sweet to see how much affection Taylor has for Finn. I think a part of Finn's (formerly?) boring portrayal and characterization was to insulate him from being Sheila's son and keep him regarded as a highly-composed good guy who's beyond reproach. Now that he's firmly established in the Forrester world, maybe Dark Finn with real emotions can stick around without people thinking the Sheila genes have activated.

Li looks like she was in some remote jungle location and just escaped. LOL!! That said, I’m here for her eventual recover & hot sex with Bill & his pecs. I never thought he had another “potential” love interest other than Brook or Katie. This might put the nail in the coffin for Heather Tom. She might never air again. LOL!!!

Thanks for that wonderful recap @CountryGirl

Man, sweet, sexy $Bill is something to behold. If I am ever shipwrecked, or find myself lost in an alley, please let it be $Bill who finds me.

I wonder if Li maybe has some damage to her vocal cords from the fire? She may not have amnesia but might just be very traumatized and disoriented from what happened. Hopefully, after a good, hot shower, some food and some rest, she will start coming around. Even though she and Bill have never met, she knows who he is, and she knows Liam, so I am hoping she will be able to connect the dots. I am also hoping that when she does, she enlists Bill's help to handle Sheila. When Bill was Bradley Carlton Sheila fucked with him by making that puzzle picture of him and Lauren Fenmore having sex; this could be a way for him to seek his long-awaited vengeance.

A Bill/Li romance would be so awesome! Li may be small in stature, but she is mighty in spirit. She could stand by Bill with confidence and as his equal. They would be amazing.

Can I get one big YAASSSSSS for Finn giving Sheila the hate? Oh, I was just riveted as he was digesting it all; realizing far too late who and what Sheila is. And Tanner is doing a great job at making Finn a sympathetic character, something I didn't think I would ever say.

Taylor and Ridge? Indeed, they are FF'd material. Don't watch a single minute of their shit.

Totally agree with all of this, especially being very surprised at how much I'm liking Finn.  When he kept saying, "You killed my mom", you could feel how much he regretted letting Sheila into his life at all and realizing how much that must have hurt Li.  But I don't think Sheila had anything to do with Brad Carlton at all on Y&R, did she?  I thought that puzzle picture was of Jack and Jill, taken by Lindsay (who later became Margo in the very early days of B&B).  I could be wrong, though...I just don't remember Brad and Sheila in the same orbit, and she high-tailed it out of Genoa City right after her baby switch was exposed and she nearly killed her mother and Lauren.

I also agree that caring for a stranger like this is way out of character for Bill.  But keep in mind that Bill has been spending the better part of a year trying to prove to Katie that he's a better person (not that we've seen it, since Bill has been MIA for so long.)   But maybe this is the new and improved $Bill Spencer that *would* win Katie back, but ooops, too late, Katie!  He's moved on!
