mtlchick February 23, 2015 Share February 23, 2015 Whoah, that's a big upset, right? Michael Keaton not winning? Sort of. Keaton was ahead at first but when Eddie won the SAG, it was all over. Whoever won the SAG for Best Actor won the Oscar for 11 years straight. Link to comment
Rick Kitchen February 23, 2015 Share February 23, 2015 (edited) What is Matt Mc.... wearing? And what's with the beard and hair? Ah, he's making a Civil War movie, tho that doesn't explain the weird tux. Edited February 23, 2015 by Rick Kitchen 1 Link to comment

anonymiss February 23, 2015 Share February 23, 2015 Blew the last note. That song was so much better when the nun did it. Oh, and no one can sing like Julie Andrews could. This truth. I don't care for Eddie Redmayne but it was cute when he spazzed out for a second in unscripted excitement. 1 Link to comment
Chrissytd February 23, 2015 Share February 23, 2015 Yay Eddie. Initially, I thought Keaton was a lock but as the other awards went by, Redmayne was gaining. Link to comment
truthaboutluv February 23, 2015 Share February 23, 2015 Whoah, that's a big upset, right? Michael Keaton not winning? Not really. Eddie officially became the front runner when he won the SAG and then the BAFTA. Link to comment

CherryMalotte February 23, 2015 Share February 23, 2015 (edited) I'd really like to see Marion Cotillard's dress up close, it seems to have some really fine beadwork going on. Very happy for Julianne, she's great. Of course I would have loved to have seen her get an Oscar for Far From Heaven. She's just so consistently good, and is a real working actor, small roles, big roles, comedy, drama, she can do it all, and so well. Edited February 23, 2015 by CherryMalotte 3 Link to comment
thuganomics85 February 23, 2015 Author Share February 23, 2015 Certainly not opposed to Julianne Moore finally getting an Oscar, but I still wish it was Rosamund Pike. She was just so terrifying. Wait, Alec Baldwin was in that film? Now, I'm getting 30 Rock flashbacks. 3 Link to comment

anyanka323 February 23, 2015 Share February 23, 2015 Redmayne had won the BAFTA and SAG awards, usually good indicators because of the overlap in voters between those bodies and Oscar voters. He also campaigned very aggressively, inviting comparisons to Anne Hathaway and Melissa Leo. He has another very Oscar baity role in The Danish Girl as of the first known men to under sex reassignment surgery. Link to comment
ProudMary February 23, 2015 Share February 23, 2015 OMG! The first shocker of the night! Keaton's going to be so sad, he's won everything else. WOW. Redmayne won the Screen Actor's Guild award. Link to comment
