Burton and KeMo might suddenly look like they physically enjoy being next to each other.

That’s about as likely as Jason burning his black shirts.

I don’t know if I’m just nostalgic but I’m looking forward to seeing where this goes before Frank and Co. shit on it.

The Margaux/Drew meet cute was good. It helps that they put more energy into it than KM/SBu ever do into JaSam.

I just can't help wondering how KeMo feels about this. At this point, I feel like the behind the scenes stuff happening on this show is probably way more interesting than the actual show.

If anyone in a different time zone (I'm in the MA) and saw the final ten minutes, I'd be ever so grateful if you could post what happened.  GH got cut for 'breaking news'.  Thanks!

Depending on where/when your feed cut out:

Peter rants and raves about his lot in life and how Nina has aided and abetted with two locations.  Nina says she has a way out.

Franco goes to the docks and sees the quarantine sign which he doesn't beleive.  Liesl shows up.

Jordan sends someone to the cabin and reports to the PIs that it was abandoned but they are collecting evidence.

Valentin says he won't give up on Nina.  Maxie says Nina's already gone.  The actor Nina used got a job as the bartender.  Valentin recognizes him.

Jake thanked Drew for coming to the game and Drew replied something like "you call, I come."

I got the feeling that the Franco/ Jake/Jason  and Drew/Jake/Jason scenes were the writers throwing some subtle shade at Jason. Even in their scenes alone Jake had to be the one to ask questions and Jason didn't even know Jake was talking about a baseball player.

Yay, thank you soooo much!  ABC cut in almost exactly 50 minutes into the hour.  It's really nice of you to fill me in.  :)

This show is just so zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz.

I think their only hope is to SORAS Spencer/Joss/Cam/Emma/Christina Collins-Baldwin (with NO imput from Frank) (maybe even a time jump a la All My Children?) and get some great love story/triangle going. Otherwise, cancel it and just have a grand goodbye.

SORAS Spencer, have him put Valentin in prison, and start off from there.

The best part was. Np S&C . Love that the kid  doesn't care if Jason shows up or not.. liked Maxie woke up, and realized Valentine gave a baby to a lunatic, to get even with its mother ? peter gave it to the other loon, and told her she was at fault for Nathans death. This show They are making the victims the bad guys.  I can't wait for nelle to wake up, have her kid give it to Brad, and Michael can go find his brain. Sonny killed your father, plus while A J was in a hospital bed he kept threatening him. .Michael was sorry for taking the child. Not as sorry as he will be when they decide he shouldn.t have his. Will Bobbie jump off her high horse when Lucas and brad have to give Michael his kid back. We know its coming Go Nelle. Love her. She is the first one to best Sonny and carley at their own game.

MA watches sometimes the Rhode Island channel stays on when Bostons channel interrupts. The gym looks better every day,

I think they need a mid-20/30s group, not a teen scene. And not just that, but those actors also have to have chemistry and take the job seriously.

It’s easier to cancel it. Bwah.

I think they can age them to their twenties, especially if there is a time jump.

LMAOOOO. It’s the most predictable joke but it still makes me laugh like it’s the first time.

Soaps are just so....different now. And it’s more than the idea that there’s so many more options in 2018 with regards to TV, cable, Netflix, Hulu, etc. I don’t know if it’s because soaps’ place in entertainment has come and gone or the actors/writers no longer have the passion for it, but think about how we viewed characters and pairings in the past and what they brought to the screen. It’s an unbelievable difference. And social media has had such a negative impact on the genre, as well. Yes, there were always focus groups and phone calls/letters but the online medium impacted things so much more heavily than that ever could.

They need to reboot that age group with a real focus and, sorry Chad, a new Michael.  There, I said it.

I kind of think a new Maxie and Lulu are needed too, and then I think, but wait, everyone's gonna be a new face. But I don't know, maybe that's what this show needs. Total Monty-style overhaul.

Besides no Sonny and Carly, which is something that I could permanently get used to, the writers and some of the actors seemed to be enjoying themselves - for a change.  Sam stating that Liesl shouldn't take the law into her own hands and not have Sam's nose grow a couple of inches was pretty fun to watch.  Drew/new DA/Jake/Maxie - all turned in some solid performances.  }}}ABC 'News'{{{

I don't know about the recast but VA got the lead role in a CBC drama as a legal aid lawyer in the Black community in Sydney.  It's a really big deal in Canada.

Damn, the things you learn while reading a GH forum! I didn't even realize she's from Canada. According to The Toronto Star, she's leaving GH.  And I may actually have a CBC drama to watch again.

I've been saying this for a few years!  GH has really missed the boat by failing to develop more of the younger and slightly younger characters.

It's called Diggstown and taping begins in Halifax in the fall.  Check out CBC media on line and you'll get more info on the story and her role.

LOL that Nina thinks an editor in chief has a say in where the ads go. She can suggest placement, but the client pays for a specific spot. Also, copy editors have absolutely nothing to do with the placement of ads. It's a totally different department!

Jordan, the DA is your ally, not your enemy. Ugh. This fakakta show.

I love that all the other men in Jake's life are people Jason hates. And how pathetic he can barely choke out that both he and Drew love Jake.

"What happens with Sam isn't up to me." No, because it's a lot easier to let someone else to all the emotional work. And of course Jason has no idea what his son is interested in, so his misunderstanding is par for the course.

It looked like Drew was going out of his way not to gloat that Jake liked him more than he liked Jason.

The guy is such a sad sack he doesn't have much else going for him. Watching him a scene later all alone and teary eyed about to bite into a hot dog was almost too pathetic to stomach. Then some strange lady went and ruined his shirt.

He's so friggin' passive about Sam.  Between that and Sam's low energy I imagine their eventual reunion will consist of Sam vaguely mentioning sex, Jason shrugging and saying it's up to her, then them deciding they'd rather just take a nap.

"Infectuon" is what Finn treats. are what Finn treats. That's why you see him with patients an infectious disease specialist would never treat.

Does Jason like anyone other than people who work for Sonny or are attached to him in some way?  He's got an okay ex-relationship with Liz but he never chose to spend time with her even before she took up with Franco.  And he has no relationship with any of his Quartermaine relatives.

There's really no reason for Jason to dislike Drew other than the fact that Drew has the ability to make human connections in a way that Jason can't. Drew is no longer a threat to his relationship with Sam or Danny and he can bond with Jake any time he can work up the interest to spend time with him.

I think there is a real role for soaps even today. The idea of everyone watching  and talking about it, the water-cooler show that everyone talks about the next day is still something people enjoy. The internet is just a giant water cooler.  And soaps have the advantages of running all year round and for decades not just a couple of seasons (Still bitter about Timeless being cancelled)

But with cable, Netflix and the other places that put out their own content it means that soaps are going to have to up their game to compete for interest. Stories where the end is already written before they start (Carson wins! Jason wins!)and tepid teenagers aren't going to cut it,

Maybe "infectuous" is a combination of "infectious" and "incestuous." So many people in that town are sleeping with people who are practically their relatives. It wouldn't surprise me if they had a whole department to treat diseases specific to it.

I sure wasn't going to rewind to make sure I was right, but didn't Drew and Jason switch sides in the scenes with Jake? Drew entered from our right, and the kid was in the middle. Then the next time we resumed with that scene, they were blocked the opposite way.

The kid who plays Jake is above average for a child actor of that age.

Unless Jake was involved, I don't see why he would. And anyway, Jason never initiates that stuff. (Also, if Carly saw it, she's start whinging and whining, and who needs that hassle?) If Elizabeth needs him for some reason, she'll let him know. If Jake wants something, he'll have to be the one to contact Jason. Jason isn't the guy who calls someone up just to chat or plays catch. And yet he's held up as this shining example of fatherhood. Ugh.

I wouldn't be opposed to a time-jump - I've thought of it before if the show went to streaming - but they'll never do that while the show remains on daily network broadcast.

I'll take my other discussion of what I'd from here to the wishlist thread.

Fuck you, Jason, for being amenable to murdering your son's grandfather with no provocation other than it's Sonny's will. He knows nothing about Julian other than that Sonny and Sam hate him (but I doubt Sam wants him killed), but just as Jason turned his back on Ava at Sonny and Carly's behest, he's willing to take out Julian without any hesitation or independent thought. He isn't a man, he's a sock puppet.

Also, Julian isn't even doing anything wrong here other than making Sonny's attempts to evade justice difficult for him, so the whole premise of murdering him to prevent him from uncovering a decades-old murder is just too asinine for words. Sorry that concealing your crimes is such a headache, Sonny, but tough shit.

LOL. Seriously. It's so inconvenient when buried bodies resurface. Poor Sonny.

Even if they find the body, is there anything left to connect Sonny? Mike moved the body all those years ago to protect Sonny, so wouldn't he also have gotten rid of the gun, or at least wiped it for prints? Otherwise, what's the point of moving the body in the first place?
