Fellaway August 31, 2016 Share August 31, 2016 (edited) "A" and "2"? Good glory, these writers can't even maintain consistency within one sentence. Yes, Griffin, yes, You make sure the lab rushes those tests through and takes extra care with them, because Elizabeth's special. She's earned "points". Certainly better than the regular riffraff you call patients. Now about those points she's earned? Come again now? Was that when she was hiding the identity of Jakeson from his mom, Monica, et al? Or maybe when she was covering up that trifling old murder attempt? What game are we playing now that this earns you points? I am getting tired of the writers singling Jake out. They couldn't mix it up a bit and have Cam or Aidan be on the sleepover, while the other two are with Grams? Maybe Grams pushed Elizabeth down the stairs. She's got to be tired of taking care of those boys by now. Way to go, Griffin, taking that hypo to the lab for testing instead of, oh, I don't know, preserving the chain of custody and handing it over to the police. It's not like Jordan was in the building or anything. Oh, wait... I enjoyed the scene between Paul and Ava, because I like both, and I'm perfectly happy with Paul, Ava, and Julian coming to some unholy alliance so that all three get away with murder. Unless and until Sonny pays for his crimes, I'm giving everyone else a free pass. That said, the scene was kind of stupid. Perhaps, Ava, you should've secured the evidence somewhere before meeting with Paul? What was to keep him from grabbing the stuff and making off with it, or, hey, calling the police and saying he's got you red-handed with the murder weapon in your hands and your fingerprints all over it? Oh, yeah, stupid writers, that's what. Edited August 31, 2016 by Fellaway 9 Link to comment

lovelynn August 31, 2016 Share August 31, 2016 What was the point of Paul trying to take Monica out? I'm trying really hard to understand what possible motive he has to kill any of his victims but this story has been poorly executed. It seems like this is just a way to get Julian out of prison. I wish they would stop mentioning Liz's boys. Selective aging of soap kids drives me crazy. Based on Joss and Molly's ages, Cam and Jake should be teens able to stay home and watch Aiden. Gram is way past the age where she would want to watch the boys as much as she does. At least let Steven Lars out of prison and have Uncle Steve be default babysitter - he can go back to Olivia and they can have a magical off screen romance. Or for that matter why doesn't Sarah check in with Liz? Liz has been through a lot, she could fly in occasionally - or at least send some flowers (I'm not saying flowers should be there yet - no reason for her to know of the tumble - not like Gram would call Sarah to tell her). All of this to say, why are they giving Liz another sister - they don't seem to care about the one she has. Will Sarah show up to meet her half-sister? Not likely. Alexis/Tracy scenes were nice. 4 Link to comment

Or that Sarah is trying to come to PC and see Liz?? I continue to really hate that the only family she gets to have in town (other than off-screen Audrey) is actually her second ex-husband's family ... not counting this 'my enemy is my half-sister' nonsense. Monica better show some concern for the mother of her grandson. Isn't Steven Lars rotting away in a jail cell in Nashville or somewhere like that because he killed a man and harvested his organs for another patient? I also don't think Monica owed Liz, the perpetual smirking victim anything, other than being the Chief of Staff who was concerned for one of her patients. Liz gets away with everything, and still manages to sit in judgement of the mere mortals. I'm no Hayden fan, but I'm very much okay with her chewing out poor, delicate Elizabeth. Liz gets a free pass on everything, and now Franco the wounded soul is doing soft voices, and I'm just so over him. 15 hours ago, LeftPhalange said: Oh yay, Ava is in another episode and has been inserted into yet another story!!!! It probably went like this: Writer 1: Shit we've written ourselves into so many corners plus we never did decide who the hospital killer was. Writer 2: Let's make it Paul and then we can have a reason for Julian to not pay for his crimes. Frank: Brilliant! I thought Liz was the town pariah. So why is everyone going on and on and on about how she's the greatest person ever in the whole wide world? If anyone ever wanted to know why I hate Liz they could just watch this ep because it makes it abundantly clear. Ava taking the syringes out of Paul's room and then showing them to him with bare hands was one of the dumbest things they've done lately and that is truly saying something. I don't understand why he didn't give her a little Elizabeth-shove down those steps, or give her a quick punch in the face and snatch her purse. At the very least, she could have told him their encounter is being secretly recorded or filmed, or been discretely brandishing a gun. Something. Just introduce the recording, have Sonny testify he saw Julian with Alexis, and that's it. Because the defendant has a right to face his accuser. any decent defense attorney would have the recording thrown out if she can't testify. Nor can Scotty cross examine a recording. And Sonny isn't s credible witness. Except on GH. I got my law degree from Law & Order university ? 3 Link to comment
