I highly agree. Ava is sexy, glamorous, and very womanly. I admire that she has such a good healthy figure and body without starving herself to an unnatural stick. She's a bad girl technically but she has really suffered. Neither Julian nor Sonny has ever had to suffer like Ava. She is a caring mother to Kiki and baby Avery. I love the way she can talk to Kiki woman-to-woman, yet relate effectively to infant Avery also. I was very touched that she personally chose clothes for Avery and sent them with the baby to Sonny's house. Also, I love her sophistication and fondness for martinis and suave drinks (even licking the glass appreciatively), reminding me of Patsy Stone in the British comedy "Absolutely Fabulous".

My favorite part of the show was Scott!  My hatred for the resurrected Jason continues to grow but at least BM looked 'alert' (or he switched to a sativva strain) in his scenes for a change.

Ava had to live in that stupid wig for, like, I don't know forever?   She suffered.  We all suffered.  Also, if Sonny can magically find Sabrina in Puerto Rico right before she's going to get shot (most boring rescue ever, like, seriously,  Carrrlos died for that?!) then Sonny could've saved her from that bridge.   The only things that Ava has done that I'm not cool with are:  frame AJ for Ugh Her Again's Murrrrddaaar because it lead to his horrible death (but she did apologize to him to his face and kind of hit on him at the same time, further angering the world because MW/SK/LW triangle might be gold ), bang Sonny on AJ's grave, wear that stupid wig,  and engage in any stupidity with Carly/Sonny.  Or even fear them.  She's Ava Jerome.   She's better than that.   Everytime they have Ava be all guilty over Waste of Time's murder, I pretend she's guilty over AJ because that's how the story would play out with good writing.   You can't have Sonny and etc be all shocked about two murders when they are involved with another.   Let us not forget that Connie is an attempted child killer in GHverse and an attempted Johnny murderer.  She wasn't a perfect saint.   So, Ava, we good.

It's weird, coming in as a newer viewer who did get to see the tail end of SBu's Jason, and seeing folks talking about BM needing to show more emotion or wake up in scenes because what I saw of SBu as Jason was completely one-note. He had the exact same expressions and tone of voice if he was mad, sad, or glad. Plus his nickname is Borg! The Borg were a collective hive with no individuality, a perfect description of SBu's Jason if ever there was one. I dunno, maybe it's my dislike for SBu since I was still watching Y&R when they dragged his no talent ass over but I don't see that BM is any worse as Jason than his predecessor. I do wish we could get the stench of Jake Doe off of him. Yuck. 

He did look super hot in his tux. And anytime anyone threatens Freako is a good time. Just wish one of these mutha fuckas would follow thru.

This hinky writing having Carly and Sonny one step ahead of Ava in Avery is stupid and frustrating, and now it appears they're thrown continuity off the parapet and had Ava with the confession thumbdrive all along (please don't be that stupid, Show). And why would Carly think she still would have the confession in the first place, since Sonny can't go to prison, thanks to Governor Get-Out-Of-Jail.

I was waiting for someone to drop a nickel on the Red Carpet near Nikolas and Hayden, so that they would immediately scramble for it, and the localized meteor would fly from the skies and smash them both.

Nina, there is a use for that microphone which would be more saitisfying.

Another thing I'd like to add.... the recording has Sonny murdering another man.  What judge on Earth will listen to that and go "Yes.  Yes.   I will give the child to the irrational, angry man who doesn't listen to reason and murders the innocent,  unarmed man."   If anything,  Carly will stir up Michael's anger, possibly stir up something in Jason's brain, and inspire Monica and Tracy to pursue a wrongful death lawsuit against them.

As much as I disliked FV/RC very first attempt at trashing a great female character, she was a rape victim (a particular brutal rape) and Johnny (another good character that they decided to butcher) had taken advantaged of a mentally ill woman, and she was retconned as a mentally ill woman. Because on this show, any woman that decides to leave Sonny, pursue higher education and a career and be incredibly successful at it must have something wrong in her brain.

Ava wasn't even a tenth of the character that MW's Kate was. Megan was far less mannered.

Well  I liked everyones' dress pretty well except Ava's and her hair was awful. I think maybe she has a recording of Paul blackmailing her to help with his illegal dealings b/c she thinks it would help her against him but as far as custody of Avery it would make her look bad b/c she was doing illegal things and being blackmailed which don't make good mother material.

I think TC is getting a kick out of playing Nik as such an ass so it makes Nik look like a smug asshole.

I'm sorry but I don't get the point of Curtis. He is like Hayden's sidekick in ALMOST shenaigans. They always have these half baked plans that don't work out so on to the next half baked plan. Putting him with Valerie hasn't helped either b/c she has no story.

I wondered why Anna would even put herself through NB alone but then when her family showed up it was very nice.

I think the writers just used Maxie as a reason to get Dr. Duke's son to the NB for his scenes with Anna and her family. I don't think anything is going to happen with he and Maxie.....at least I hope not b/c I'd much rather continue to look a Nathan than him. If Nathan is a tree then he is a shrub.

Liz falling into Franco's arms and him full on picking her up was 100% the most awful and embarrassing thing in this ep and that's truly saying something. That was just horrible in every single way.

I thought Ava, Anna, Sam, and Liz looked the best. I loved Anna, Sam, and Liz's dresses and even though I personally didn't love Ava's dress MW just looked stunning in it.

Smug Carly is the worst version of her. Ugh. I can not believe TPTB seriously want us to root for Carly and Sonny to take Avery away from Ava. It's just mind-boggling.

I still don't understand why Griffin being a priest is such a big deal to these people. Who fucking cares?

No, SBu's Jason showed plenty of emotion, and it was only during the last few years of his time on GH that the writers started to just make him the muscle man, which I'm guessing is why he was starting to get bored.  Jason Morgan was never the Borg - that was a name haters gave him. 

BM is a fail in the role of Jason Morgan because he is completely disconnected from the role and the actors, imo.  He just never seems to be engaged on any level.  He never has the proper emotion for whatever the scene calls for:  If it's a sad scene, he's not empathetic; if it's a scary scene, he's smiling; if it's a happy scene, he doesn't seem to get what the joy is about.  I didn't realize that playing Jason Morgan would prove to be so difficult, but apparently it is.  BM was the wrong fit for this role from the beginning.   I still haven't recovered from the "I'm the King of the World!"  That should have been my first and last clue that this was not going to end up well.

Also - This year's Nurses Ball is a meh so far.  First of all, where are the Quartermaines?  I'm glad that Michael didn't have to participate in that male review line-up because I always find those so cringe worthy.  I know RC loved them - anything to have a bunch of shirtless guys running around on stage, but I can skip it.  I agree with those who remember the Luke/Lucky dancing with Mary Mae or the girls on GH (Brenda, Karen, etc.) doing that number from Sweet Charity (I believe).  The numbers were classy and fun and entertaining.  Now they just seem like cheese-fests or just dumb.  I do like seeing the dresses so that's about the only plus I can give at this point.  I think LW looks gorgeous.

So, is it official that KS & RP don't like each other any more? They never have any scenes and now Maxie is being pushed into Nathan 2.0's orbit every chance they get. It seems so forced. Also, are Dante & Lulu on the show anymore? Is Genie Francis in stand alone storyline purgatory? It would be nice if she had scenes with the other woman of GH like Tracy, Monica, Bobbie, Anna and Alexis. It's like the writers and FV are keeping her away from the other woman of the show.

Yea I guess good point that no one in PC seems to be very religious (minus our hero Sonny of course). But still, I'm not religious either and I can't say that I would react with all this horror to someone telling me they were a priest. Also the fact that everyone is all "OMG you don't have sex!" is so juvenile. It makes me think about how I'm always wishing television/movies would have more asexual representation but this is a huge reminder that it would end up being awful.

I heard of a retired doctor becoming a priest after his wife passed away.  He really loved his wife and the Catholic faith, so it seemed right to him.  But he's like in his 80s.  He's not a gorgeous stud still practicing medicing and taking off his shirt.  He spoke at my father's funeral and attended my grandmother's funeral.   That's how I know about the amount of schooling each profession takes.  There's also an enormous amount of dedication.  You can't partially be a doctor nor a priest.  And I'm not even religious.

• This year, it seems that more people filled the ballroom.

Um no Maxie didn't dump her fiance too walk down with Griffin. She came to the hospital with a tux for Nathan so they can go to the nurses ball together. She was then told by Griffin that there was no way he can release Nathan tonight. Maxie then asked him as a friend too walk down the red carpet with her cause it would be embarrassing too walk down by herself. She did nothing wrong or shady. If Nathan has any sense he wouldn't say a damn thing about it.

I still can't get over the fact that Guza created Kate Howard. Guza actually created an ambitious, successful self-made woman - and one of the first things RC did was turn her into a yowling, air-humping rape-victim nutjob.

I do not miss that hideous ruined character but Ava did murder her. And I actually resent her complicity in AJ's murder more - so unless Ava/Scotty is happening ONSCREEN I have no problem with Julian/Ava/Kiki/Leo/Avery disappearing OR Leo becoming Ned's son because MAGIC/Helena/REASONS

I really find it distasteful that Cameron and Aiden have apparently ceased to exist as Liz's kids because only stupid Jake is important for Son of Jasus and SERIAL KILLER propping purposes.  I mean, it's gotten so bad, the show didn't even bother trying to explain where they are and why Jake got to go to the ball and not them.

So not only does Lucas get attacked (and, to be fair, this type of hospital serial killer/Angel of Mercy story is classic soap and the kind of thing a soap called "General Hospital" should be doing), but Brad gets to be humiliated because Amy 2.0 is a dingbat.  And that's the show's first gay wedding, folks!

I was happily surprised to see Laura and Kevin show up.  I was also surprised Lucy didn't humiliate herself in front of them, but I guess there's always tomorrow.

As much as I despise Liz, a lot of time I'll cut Liz slack on this because I'm assuming there's backstage shenanigans going on or something (who knows maybe they're finally getting ready to age up Cameron) but it's getting ridiculous at this point that Cam and Aiden have seemingly ceased to exist. I'm sure if they did have Liz mention it on-screen, it would have been some lame excuse about Cam and Aiden having too much fun with Audrey to tear themselves away. And given how much trauma the kid's been through, I'm not sure why Liz would think it a grand idea to have him perform a solo on-stage. Maybe if one of his invisible brothers had been there instead he wouldn't have panicked, but then we would have missed out on the delightful Franco getting to play hero.

I know Carly's off being smug about besting Ava with a sex tape of all things, but I'm annoyed we missed out on Carly finding out about the Lucas/Brad wedding. I wanted to see her head explode when she found out Lucas asked his new sister Sam to be his best person over her. But, gah, does that woman's smug level ever come down. I loved it. They were both great. But I'm also willing to admit I 100% appreciate Emma more when she's her mother's daughter. That plot point minion shit was trash. So glad it's over.

We didn't really think they were actually going to go through with it, did we?  Before the rumours of RC leaving started swirling around, I figured Lucas would find Brad had reverted to his old ways, and sleeping with someone else.  

Which would have been far more interesting than whatever Brad and Lucas have done in the past. Of course this show can't be assed to give Lucas a real storyline. Lets see, when they aren't ruining fan favorite characters they are sidelining them, give even more misogynist writing than Guza, are infected with baby rabies and for a show unusually obsessed with relationships they are written pretty shallowly. If the writers didn't want the gays to get married they could have just had Brad go back to his lying, cheating, filthy ways and have Lucas dump him. And really, putting Lucas in a coma or killing him takes more effort than just giving them a two minute wedding and then shuffling them back off screen where they spend the majority of their time. But if they just HAD to kill or incapacitate one of them why not Brad? He's easily expendable. 

I wish DNAJ would've run off stage and got hit by a car again.

I've been away from GH for a long time but try to check in during the Nurse's Ball shows.  I thought most of the gowns were beautiful and that most of the characters looked fantastic. Does Finola Hughes ever age?   I can't believe how great she looks.  Lynn Herring needs a side of beef. Those huge veins bulging out of her arms look scary awful.  And some of the efforts to look younger are not good, to say the least. Jackie Zeman looks like a corpse with too much Botox-----unless she's supposed to look like that for the role. 

If you guys don't want Billy Miller, we will take him back at Young and Restless.  But he doesn't look nearly as studly as he did on Y&R.  They've tried too many actors that have failed miserably as Billy. 

I find the shake your booty dance to be funny, but enjoy the beefcake.
