Jason doesn't know how to assemble furniture. Lawd. Sams hair is flawless lately. 

 

I worry for this new Jason. He seems softer than silk. I like that he seems to emote a little more and seems to want to be something other than a mobster but dear god!!! I hope they do something with him and soon. 

 

Ugh! I can't believe Sam and Jason couldn't figure out who might have wanted to shoot Hayden. Literally two seconds after Jason reiterates that Nik wanted Hayden out of the way because she was about to tell Jason about his true identity, he wonders out loud who could have had a motive to shoot Hayden. I can sort of get that Sam might not want to believe that her cousin would stoop so low to having a woman shot, but I can't see why Jason didn't connect the dots.

 

Jason is a brain damage amnesiac and in this show that means he is slow and stupid. SMH

 

Anyways, I am just glad they are moving Jason and Sam toward a storyline. Like any storyline really and we are seeing them more than 3 minutes per week.

maybe, but considering the last time he got fired after years of looking bored and tired and wasn't pleased, I think he'd probably be still mad at us. Oh well.

Eh, they're trying something different. There wouldn't be much point shooting scenes outside if everyone were all bundled up and shivering. It's not like we saw cacti or palm trees in the background. 

We such lush greenery and houses that looked nothing like the ones in upstate NY. 

 

If they start filming outside alot you should take it as a sign GH doesn't have long. When GL and AMC started filming outside more and more they got canceled.

I liked this ep. I fast forwarded the Nik/Haydens scenes and the scenes where Sam/Jason talked about Nik/Hayden though, so that helped.
 

It's not that he's crawled up anyone's ass. It's that the new writers have decided that the previous year never happened, and they've made him the babysitter of PC lately.  I mean he's either holding Avery, comforting Sonny/Carly, and holding Joss and Morgan's hands.  What a waste!

 
I mean yea all that sucks, but he has indeed crawled up Sonny's ass and that annoys the ever loving shit outta me. More than anything else really.
 

(I love you Curtis. Don't fuck it up by becoming a Sonny apologist)

 
Every time Curtis is on I can't truly fully enjoy it because in the back of my mind I'm just waiting for the day he becomes another Sonny ass kisser. Sigh.

Oh, this gives me an idea. Lulu should totally fuck Curtis. It kills two birds with one stone, it gets her revenge on both Dante and Valerie. I'm into it.

I think they thought the ongoing joke (from old school JaSam as well) that Sam was better at fixing shit and Jason was better at cooking would be cute.  I mean, I love the banter, but they couldn't have it be something a little more difficult than a BOX?

 

And speaking of stupid lazy writing.....Sam couldn't find out Hayden's real identity with a buttload of info she already gathered, but she literally grabbed the 2nd shooter theory out of thin air....and will solve that?  Ok show.  Either make her competent or not.  But choose one.

Yesterday's (Thursday's) episode was TRASH. Today's wasn't much better, but at least it had Curtis, shirtless no less. He was the best part of the last two days.

Nathan also wasn't in a weeks long coma (that still wasn't nearly long enough, damn it), didn't lose consciousness and almost bleed out like Kiki did. I have no problem with how fragile she still is, physically or emotionally. I will give the writers some very small bit of credit for Thursday's show that she should have some PTSD. The fact now that Morgan is the only one who can bring her out of her coma or talk her down from reliving the gunshot is downright nauseating to me. And god forbid they let Ava pull rank and say to Morgan, "Kiki's had a long day, she needs to get back and rest", I kept waiting for her to say it, but no they have Morgan say it like he's the voice of wisdom?! STFU Baldie.

 

Completely agree with you on Kristina. It's really just so sad that these characters are basically held hostage by Sonny. No one is allowed to hate him, not even his kids who should. If someone does hate him, they're wrong, not him.

 

The best character besides Curtis the last two days? Sam's hair. Gorgeous.

If we have to have the Horrible People Days, we may as well sprinkle some sweaty and shirtless Curtis to insult people. Then, he puts his shirt on and can show up to his dayjob and work it both ways by snarking on the uncool.

Lemonface is the perfect descriptor for the look she's always sporting.  She just couldn't wait to a. make Lucas's visit all about her and b. blame her mother for simply questioning what her feelings were.  And you just know she's going to blow sky-high when she finds out Alexis searched out Parker.  Nevermind that Sonny sent his goon to the school to scope her out because Sonny, in Kristina's world, admits his mistakes and says he's sorry, which...hahaha, nope.  I've been watching Sonny for over 20 years and "I'm sorry" has maybe come out of his mouth a handful of times and is usually followed up by the person he's saying it to saying "No, Sonny, you were right, it was me who was wrong."

I know this is the type of Show where the Governor hands out a Get Out of Jail Free card to the Moobster but....

 

If you keep referring to a pre-nup as "Iron Clad" and then say that your lawyers can get a clause thrown out because Spawn of TotallyNot!BernieMadoff, then it's not as "Iron Clad" as you might think. Especially if she changed her name legally to Vivian.

 

Oh, and as far as con artists who use aliases, Nik, check your cousin. You know, the one you (picks up d20, rolls, checks for damage) tolerate, but won't forget you dislike.


Kristina and Alexis are both being assholes to each other concerning her coming out. Alexis with "you're confused and you hate penis because of bad guys", Kristina with "You reject me even though I came onto my Professor and channeled my Moobster DNA in threatening her." Alexis needed Julian and Kristina needed Lucas to tell them to STFU.

 

Is Joe Z someone? Or did they need someone to prop Maxie's shoes?

They are terrible at literally every aspect of soap writing - romance, family, mystery action; there is nothing that they've done well. They're better at structuring their boring ass stories than RC but that is the world's lowest bar.

And! I really think this determination to write Nik/Rebecca Budig has damaged every other character and story in their orbit

How did we end up with JP/SA? They got fired from Y&R for being too slow and boring so TIIC brought them to GH, which has historically been the action soap.

They are terrible at literally every aspect of soap writing - romance, family, mystery action. There is nothing that they've done well. They can do Rebecca Budig/Nikolas but they're going about in the worst way possible. Nikolas and Rebecca Budig should be falling in love, Rebecca Budig despite herself and Nikolas should be tormented and worried that she's going to leave him if she finds out, not him getting self-righteous cause the woman he shot in the head has a false name. I mean, really.

He was creative director of Elle magazine for several years. I'm not sure why Maxie called it "the magazine that shall not be named," but then I'm not sure why Maxie and Nina curtsied to Joe Zee either. I'm guessing they brought him on GH because he's now one of the hosts of The Fab Life, one of ABC's failing afternoon franchise shows, and they're trying to boost the ratings of one failing show with an appearance on another failing show gee it sounds stupid when I type it out like that.

Lol. Didn't FabLife get cancelled? Besides, if we're bringing on people who do shows with Chrissy Teigen, I'd rather LL Cool J to do boxing scenes shirtless with Curtis. Then they can run around and insult everyone annoying in Port Charles. It can be an awesome tour that begins with Dante insults, calling Franco a "punk ass bitch" again, a Sonny insult, then some Nik insults, then they tell Vivian Darkbloom she's pretty, have some drinks, and LL Cool J goes back to judge celebrities lip sync. If they can fit in some Morgan insults, that'd be great, too. But I don't want to cut into the shirtless boxing.

Seriously.  Once she doesn't need a sounding board for her confusion about her sexuality, she'll probably never speak to Lucas again.

 

Speaking of Lucas, do we think this wedding to Brad is actually going to happen, and happen on-screen?  A part of me scarily could see them shoving it into the Nurses' Ball.

Fair enough. I still think attempted murder is too much of a hurdle but I totally agree that they're also writing this in a way that leeches all the dramatic tension out of the story.

I don't believe for a second that Nik loves this woman - he doesn't trust her, he doesn't respect her and as toxic as Nik/Liz have been in the past few years - having Liz in the house just highlights how shallow the Nik/Rebecca Budig relationship is in comparison - because he does love Liz. He trusts and respects her and he'd do anything for her and all three of them know it. To be clear, I am NOT advocating for Niz (Liz/Lucky 4eva) just  pointing out the general terribleness of Nik//NormaRaeHayden

Sam should be investigating Rebecca Budig to hurt Nik and that should be transposed against him actually falling in love with her - Instead there's begging and creepy face grabbing and Mature!Sam - and everything is terrible

I'm sure Lucas will be allowed to successfully marry that loser because I doubt the writers care enough to give them a regular Port Charles wedding featuring interruptions, secrets exposed, or gun play.

Sigh. I hate it. Ever since Silas and to present day, they've just stripped Sam of any kind of attitude or spunk. I don't want her to be the moral compass of this show. I want her to be able to do questionable things, to insult people, to argue, to kick ass. That is when KeMo is at her best, IMO.

This show just has no freaking balance. They don't know how to write layers within a character.

I'm dreading the wedding only because the show has been so cheap with what should be big events in the last few years that there are only ever a few major characters in attendance and maybe a half dozen extras. I see the guest list at Lucas's and Brad's wedding being Julian, Alexis, and Kristina because those are the only family members he's allowed to acknowledge now, Felix, not because he's their friend (they probably don't even remember he's their friend) but simply because he's also gay, Epiphany because she usually has scenes the same day that Felix has scenes, and ... well, I'm stumped. Seriously, if Bobbi isn't there, I wouldn't be at all surprised.
