I think if Liz is gonna come at Hayden every damn time she sees her with her bitchface and smugness then Hayden can call Liz a liar all she wants. ... Neither of them come off well in those scenes, but I hate Liz more because I've had to deal with her shit for so much longer.

 

That's how I feel about it. They're both being awful, but they're both right. Hayden's a con artist, Liz is a lying hypocrite, and they're both freeloaders, so if they call each other those names, fair enough. And as between Hayden and Liz, I have to side with Hayden because Liz knows that Nik tried to have Hayden killed yet still thinks that Nik is the victim.

 

Watching someone write in their journal is not exactly riveting television. Plus, she keeps setting the damn thing down every time the doorbell rings, so it's obviously just a set-up for someone to find and read her journal, then bite their nails for a month over whether or not to tell her secret. I am already yawning in anticipation.

 

The lizard is pretty cute, I must say. I would be in favor of replacing the entire cast with reptiles.

I agree in general, but one small nitpick - I don't think Liz is a freeloader. Her house blew up. Her ridiculously wealthy friend offered her a place to stay for a while. She's been there like a week. 6 months, then yeah, I'll say she's a freeloader. I know Jason bought her the house but Liz is one of the few characters who has mystery-free consistently supported herself ("mystery-free" because most of the characters support themselves, but we're left wondering how, exactly.)

But Liz is right that Hayden is lying.  And Liz is right that Hayden wouldn't like the answer if she asked Nik to choose.  Because even if Nik chose Hayden, it wouldn't work out for Hayden anyway because Nik would resent having to make that choice.   Plus who is Hayden to call someone else a freeloader lol?  One of the things I like about Liz is that she has always worked for and supported herself and her children (even when she first came on the show, she always worked). Unlike 97% of the characters on this show.  And it's not Liz's kids fault that they (1) are Liz's kids and (2) have different dads.  So Hayden is just being unpleasant to be unpleasant even toward children.  

 

I'm sure Hayden would leave Liez alone if she minded her own business and stopped acting smug and showing off her bitch face.

Rebecca Budig character and Liz were both being awful but Liz and Nik have been friends for nearly two decades now. Real friends - not just people in the same age bracket who tend to be in the same stories.

Nik telling Liz about Jason made sense to me because of that friendship. He was willing to let her blow up the secret, keep it or have it come out without implicating her because of that friendship. They have known and helped each other through years of crap. I don't love Liz right now but she still has years of pre-RC goodwill to draw on compared to Nik's pointless new wife - so RBC can fuck right off with that shit.

Yeah, Liz knows Nik tried to kill RBC but since she knows it, too - and is married to him and screwing him? That's a draw for me. I want Nik to suffer because he did a shitty thing, not for RBC's sake - why should the audience care about her life more than she does?

I know Nik is led around by his dick and he is insanely gross right now but I'd be furious if he sided with RBC over Liz because HaydenRachelNancyMonucaRoss is a blip on the radar, barely a character and her relationship with Nik is both stupid and gross

It's so weird to me that Griffin is working with his fiancé Brad and flirting or something with his cousin Maxie, but there's decidedly a whiff of "Lucas who?" in the air.  A better show might be going somewhere with these connections forming without the common thread being acknowledged.

Service animals also include emotional support animals these days (as long as there is a note from a doctor saying the person needs his/her emotional support animal). I've heard of lizards, cats and even ferrets being used for such purposes.

 

Emotional support animals don't seem to be covered by the ADA, which appears to be limited to dogs that perform a duty (sense seizures/low blood sugar, physically guide), but most people don't ask many questions.  I once had a patient I admitted who brought her service dog, and I took her at her word that she needed him, as did the nursing supervisor, etc.  It turned out that he was purely for emotional support, and I enjoyed walking him for potty breaks.

 

So, this Kristina/Parker thing. I wanted to be excited about it, and I still think although it hasn't gotten the screen time it deserves, it has been done pretty well. My drawback is Lexi's youthful looking face. You'd think that after a few years away we wouldn't still be dealing with the same issues but I'm sorry, she looks so young that it completely takes me out of the scene when they're together. Molly looks older than she does now.

 

I'm a little creeped out, too.  I know the actors are only sixteen years apart, but Lexi looks younger, and Ashley (?) looks older.  It doesn't help that Lexi is so much smaller, and they look more like mother and daughter.  There's also a complete power imbalance with the student/teacher dynamic, as well as the fact that Christina is still new to this aspect of her sexuality, whereas Parker is quite experienced.  And Parker is in control of what does and doesn't happen.  It feels predatorial, and I would feel exactly the same if Parker were a male.

The Kristina/Parker scenes were OK. I can't really get into them because I don't really know what exactly they're going for. Also, I don't think LA looks too young so much as she sound/acts too young and the Parker actress looks much older than she is, I think. I have no problem with age differences, but there's this vague creepy undertone with them because of the power imbalance. But then again I'm not even against that kinda thing either tbh. I don't really know why they just don't work for me. Pretty good kiss though.

I actually kind of hope that Liz does get pissed at Hayden and does take up Monica's offer of the Q mansion. If not the mansion, then perhaps Ned's old residence at the Gatehouse. The staff, Monica and Tracy loved it when Avery was there. Hey, is Michael still mooching off his now apparently non family, the Qs? Since Sonny is now back to being the bestest Daddy ever. Yeah. Avery is PERFECTLY SAFE being around Sonny. Since it isn't like he has his offspring shot, almost car bombed or kidnapped on multiple occasions while around him.

And it can take a long time to rebuild a home. It took over 10 months for a cousin of mine to move back into her 2 bedroom condo. And it is just a walk up, no elevator. A friend of mine has a BF and it took 8 months for his townhouse to be ready after a fire.

Why is Bryan Craig (Morgan Corinthos) up against Nicolas Bechtel (Spencer) in the Younger Actors category? They're nowhere near the same age group in the soap.Tequan Richmond also in the running. Did Spencer even have any recent scenes to present for the competition? Seems like he has been gone since he went to the Shriners hospital. Meanwhile, Bryan has been staggering the stage and chewing the scenery day after day.
 

Finola Hughes and Maura West are running the race together for Lead Actress in a Drama Series, while Tyler Christopher and (gag) Tony Geary are up for Lead Actor in a Drama Series (huh? The Q-tip is still eligible? Hasn't he been gone long enough to bury and forget yet?).
 

Nobody was apparently worthy for Supporting Actress in a Drama Series (not even Jane Elliot?), but Sean Blackmore and Dominic Zamprogna are nominated for Supporting Actor in a Drama Series, where surely Bryan Craig should've been put too. Having a big belly laugh that Sam, Lulu, and Maxie actresses are not given a mention for an award, despite all the inordinate opportunity, time, and storyline they are given on the Show.

Simpering little Emma Scorpio (Brooklyn Rae Silzer) made the grade for mention as a possible Younger Actress in a Drama Series. I just can't go with that. Disappointed that Molly or Kristina didn't get included. I admire them both for their recent work especially!)

Just got done watching today's show! Griffin is quite the enigma, and on the surface, I didn't understand his behavior to Maxie's business proposition. That said, it stood out to me that they juxtaposed Griffin and Maxie and Nathan a number of times in the episode. Conspiracy theory alert: There's a Griffin/Nathan connection, perhaps nothing intimate, but a connection nonetheless. Claudette, once again, became a topic of conversation this episode as well. Maybe they both dated her? Someone reminded me that Griffin doesn't know the name or face of Maxie's boyfriend. They've never met, so there's probably a revelation there.

I don't get it either.  Although I would LOVE the look on Bryan Craig's face if Nicolas Betchel beats him in this category. :)

Yea same actually. It's like he's [Griffin] playing a different character with every person he interacts with. So weird.

 

I guess he was worried about the lizard upstaging him so he decided he needed to play a chameleon.

 

What a snorefest today. I cannot pretend to care about any of these stories. Like it was painful to watch. Then again, it didn't send me into a giant rage, but these are the sole categories this show falls into. Extremely gross or extremely boring.

Everyone, except Nik and the DesperateForAMommySpencer, just hates Hayden with cause. For reasons that the audience freaking knows are valid. Hayden did get into a relationship to steal from Nik. She is lying her ass off.

 

What justifiable reasons? The only people who really had a reason to hate her were Jason and Elizabeth and considering Liz turned around and did the exact same thing as Hayden, only to someone Liz claimed to love, she can have all the seats in the world when it comes to judging Hayden. Laura came on the scene and was rude to Hayden instantly, even though she knew her son's gross crimes against Hayden. Lulu has barely had any scenes with Hayden, so I have no idea where her animosity comes from.

 

And what the audience knows is that Nik had Hayden SHOT IN THE HEAD. What the audience knows is that Nik and Hayden got together the second time and had some creepy relationship tango where neither trusted the other. Hayden suspected what Nik did to her and was trying to gather evidence to get revenge. Then she inexplicably fell for Nik and decided to put aside the little detail of the bullet that had been lodged in her brain when Tracy blackmailed her. She should be going after Nik with everything she's got after what he did to her. So, yes, Hayden is a liar. But Nik is an attempted murderer. I know which one I think is worse. Am I really supposed to feel sorry for Nik because the woman he had shot is trying to snake the company he weaseled away from his dead ex-wife's family?

 

It would be one thing if Laura, Liz, Lulu etc. were coming at this from a position of caring about Nik and just not wanting to see him get hurt, but them coming at Hayden from this air of moral superiority and judging Hayden as if she's this evil bitch out to bilk poor innocent Nikolas is ridiculous. Apparently it's the worst thing in the world that Hayden is been consistently lying to Nikolas but it's okay that not only has he also been consistently lying to her, but that he tried to have her killed.

I don't know about that. We don't really know Hayden's intentions, though we do know Hayden seems to be in love with the piece o slime. We do know that Tracy is blackmailing her to steal ELQ from Nik's, you know, the company Nik stole from the Q's himself, and she stupidly hasn't done it yet. She very well could have already milked him for his millions, and rightly so. We also know Nik tried to have Hayden murdered, and that Laura and Liz know about this, but are still trying to make HIM out to be the victim.

 

And they're all lying....Nik, Laura and Liz.....to her....so Hayden is in good company.

 

Hayden lies are not the problem.....it's her stupidity for Nik's peen that's not letting her rip Nik off well and square as severance for nearly dying because of him, and then telling Liz and Laura to kindly fuck off the edge of a parapeet.
